"Yes, but some people prefer to skip the pain of losing" the shapeshifter said with a confident grin. Her opening attack was sidestepped quite easily, and a cut to the side came as a reminder of this failure. Twisting in place and trying another attack, Mei couldn't still get a fist in there, no doubt hampered by a second slice received just before it. But the block did allow her an opening. With a spinning low sweep, she downed the shifter and kicked it in the side brutally. Even as the creature rolled away, she could still somehow get cut as it backed off. "Damn critter..." the redhead thought, now standing off with the shifter again. Already getting cut three times was not a good start, but she would not give up until it was really over. With some gauging of distance, she moved in a careful manner, looking for an attack window in the opponent's movement

Mei-Lien's careful approach paid off, allowing her to find an opening in the shapeshifter's attack, landing a powerful blow to its chest and then blocking the attack, getting in a kick to its left leg that nearly buckled it. "Very bad, you need to look at your way of standing a bit more..." Mei thought as she saw a clear way through the thing's guard. With a straight going right through to the shifter's chest, she catched a counter with her gauntlet, following it up with a brutal kick to the side of the knee. Seeing the shifter almost fall from her kick put a smile on her face, but she had underestimated the creature's recovery speed. The shapeshifter turned to face Mei-Lien, panting and hacking as she got into a defensive stance. "Damn lungs" it muttered, waiting for the two to attack her, since she wouldn't be able to muster up the strength to attack herself. "I could keep fighting on like this for a long, long time." It tossed aside its sword, and the thing dissolved into thin air as it hit the ground. "But that wouldn't be in the spirit of the game. I'm not too proud to admit that you've won." The frown deepened, as the shapeshifter asked "so how will you take your prize, Mei-Lien?" seemingly ignoring Hannah, as she had most of the fight.

The thing couldn't hold out against their attack, and after a barrage of punches it fell to the ground.
