Re: Monster Girl Quest
off topic but i felt like mentioning a manga(not hentai but their is nudity)
its called
Monster Musume no Iru Nichijou
its a ecchi/romance?/comedy about some boy who lives with monster girls
i wont go into detail on what ones but i wanted to mentioned this in a few places as its as close as we gonna get to something like this
and personally id love to see a anime adaption for it

we all know anime needs more monster girls!

if your a fan of MGQ you may like it :3
I've actually been trying to think of a way for MGQ to become a animated epic. While there is a lot of room for things like story and action a lot of things bugged me. Here are a few problems that come to mind with it.
1. To many monsters are similar to each other (can someone count how many tentacle girls are in this game? seriously that would get old extremely quick).
2. A large majority of the monster girls are there just for the sake of being there to rape Luka. Many of them don't help progress anything meaningful in the game (though this I'd say in the 3rd chapter it's less of an issue). In my opinion it would be best to skip a good number of pointless monsters or have them all attack at once if they are within the same area. (though this concept would get old too).
3. Rape would be a touchy subject. Odds are if the show was going to get a proper adaptation it would have to almost completely drop it's eroge aspect. Now this isn't really problem most of the time since TONS of hentai games get adaptations all the time. But the problem here is that MGQ's plot is STRONGLY influenced by sex/intercourse/rape. Without these elements it just wouldn't be the same. I mean the main conflict in the first chapter is that Monster girls are either given an unsatisfiable lust for semen or REQUIRE it to live which was the reason for fights between humans and Monster girls.
Now yes most of the sex scenes aren't canon but there still is a good chunk that are (especially in Part 3). Personally I'd say it would be best represented a show with eroge undertones. Maybe have the sex scenes used in a comedic fashion or show the scene with convenient censoring and no sound.
4. Enemies seem to only attack Lukas penis..........so that's a problem. Granted a few enemies use regular attacks like Alice and Granberia. But most of the enemies don't have any worth while moves. Queen Elf for example is supposed to be the most powerful elf but she doesn't even do anything that a normal human couldn't do (besides what she does in the H scene). A lot of the attacks would have to be improvised in order for it to be interesting. I see a good potential fight with the Succubus Witch with her use of magic but no other enemies that weren't bosses seemed to give much to work with. Part 3 has a lot of potential since there is a lot you can work with due to all the powerful angles luka faces. But Part 1-2 would be rough and would need a LOT of improvisation.
5. Having played all i can of MGQ i can say that Luka is let off the hook WAY to much. Not only do all the heavenly knights let him go when they could have easily defeated him many times but even the angels do this when they really have no reason to. I've only played 1/3 of part 3 so i don't know completely what the motivations are of all the angels/monsters yet though.
Still it irked me when Promestein had absolutely no reason to not finish off a weakened luka and the 4 heavenly knights when she had the advantage with the Chimeras by her side. Her excuse that they couldn't risk losing even one of the Chimeras in battle but that reasoning is extremely poor. Weren't the Chimeras made to specially counter each of the heavenly knights? They were all weakened from fighting Luka and Alice was sealed at the time. But nope apparently that's not enough of an advantage so she ordered a retreat......it made my head spin seriously. Then we have La Croix who summons the most powerful monsters from the last generation against Luka and loli Alice and..........."My orders were not to eliminate you yet"................WELL WHY THE HELL NOT??? Why does it make sense to wait until Luka gets strong enough again to beat them? TAKE HIM OUT WHILE HE IS WEAK! Ah it just made no dayum sense to me. I guess the point is to show the enemies over confidence but really it just feels like a bad cop-out.
6. Part 3 in general. As far as story progression goes it's very good. But the meat in-between doesn't work very well for an adaption. Basically in about each part a soilder/villager gets raped/killed before Luka can arrive and defeat the monster. Now i wouldn't mind this so much if it didn't have almost THE WHOLE DAYUM TIME! Seriously there is a canon rape scene with some random solider/villager in just about every area Luka goes to. It gets old. I personally think that there needs to be a competent warrior on a slightly lower level than Luka who takes care of the lesser dangerous areas while Luka handles the BIG BIG Boses (like the Spider Queen, Promestein etc).
As you can see the main issue the series would run into is redundancy. You'd have to either take a good chunk of elements out or ADD a bunch of elements into the show to make it work properly. It's quite a perplexing issue for me @_@
