The man called after her as she began ascending the steps. "Pity. If you reconsider, my offer remains open until you pass through the first door of the tower. Lets call it three weeks. Three weeks in our care, and you only have to ask to be let free. Think on it before you step through that first door."

Kaoru ascended the stairs to the temple. Inside it was open, and once her eyes adjusted to the lack of noonday sun, reasonably well lit by tiki-style torches. In the center was an alter, with a woman on it, bound in the same position as the girl carved above the entrance. Unlike that girl, however, this one looked like she was happy, and though one person was fucking her and several more seemed to be waiting in line, she wasn't visibly pregnant. One of the men grinned at her, and seemed to indicate that he'd be in line again when she was the one on the alter.

At the back of the temple was a tall, triangular passage carved into the solid stone. It looked almost but not quite like a natural passage that had been polished for human use. It ran slightly downward, and was lit by torches burning in holders. The holders looked much better made then the torches, and smoke clung to the ceiling, slowly leaking out of the passage and into the temple proper. She walked along the slowly-descending passage, straight as an arrow, for what felt like half a mile, and found herself looking at a solid metal wall. There was a small panel cut out in the stone next to it, with a symbol of a hand, and at the top of the metal wall were more of those runes she couldn't read.

"Hrm. I enjoy a challenge. Even if I fail in the temple, I think I'd look forward to trying to prove you all wrong and try to escape. Besides, I came all this way. It'd be pointless to just strip down and play slave girl. Though, it is most considerate and generous that'd you let me go like that. If you really meant that." She said implying she didn't completely believe him as she moved onward into the temple. She looked around the dimly lit walls inspecting her surroundings before she came to the girl on the alter, HRMPH! That's not going to be me. You can bet even if you get me on there, I'll resist till the bitter end. I won't go down with out a fight. She thought to herself as she observed the bizarre and perverse scene, she glared at the man as she grinned at her, "What are YOU looking at, tinydick? Keep on trucking in your line, you're not getting any booty here." She said defiantly as she moved on farther through the triangular passage, almost choking on the smoke from the torches until she finally got to the metal wall. "Hum, it looks like you're supposed to place your hand here. But I want if its set to read specific handprints? But that seems...... a little too, high tech, for such an archaic world." She thought to herself as she looked at the runes adorning the top of the wall. "Dammit...... I sort of wish I could read those scribbles, but then again from what I've seen, I might not like what it saids." She said before finally deciding to try out the hand space, "Well, I have to keep going somehow, nothing ventured, nothing gained after all." SHe saids as she places her hand into the spot.

As she presses her hand against the panel, Kaoru feels it slid in slightly, and the metal door moves slowly downward. When she removes her hand, the panel moves back to even with the wall. Inside... well, it seemed as if Kaoru had seen three different civilizations. There were the houses outside the temple, which were wood and thatch, with dirt or wood floors and generally just about no technology more advanced then a leather whip. The temple wasn't exactly more advanced, but it was more... polished. It hadn't been thrown together haphazardly like the huts had been.

But the tunnel... it was on a whole new level. It still could have been done with bronze-age technology, but there were no signs of tool marks of any kind, the door had been completely flawless, with no seams or bends of any kind, and the action on the button had been almost imperceptible. Everything about it was just utterly perfect, and designed to last. And inside the door what she saw made the tunnel and the door itself look amateurish.

It opened out onto a vast circular chamber, easily a fifty yards across. She seemed to be at the base of it, and it seemed like it must reach up to the top of the mountain that had been behind the cliff. Certainly there was light visible from the top. She was confined to a platform about twenty feet across, which spiraled around the outside edge all the way up. A closer examination showed that there were periodic breaks in the platform along the way, and at least at the nearest of these there was a door leading to the outside of the chamber on each side of the break. A rail separated the platform from the rest of the chamber, which housed an enormous mechanism. It seemed to be made entirely out of the same metal as the doors, and it soundlessly moved. Axels spun, gears turned, weights dropped and rose on braided metal ropes. It was eerie, and while nothing about it necessarily required any technology more advanced then smelting metal, she couldn't imagine someone building this in the real world, not this perfectly.

When Kaoru finally stepped through the doorway, the door rose quickly behind her. There was no panel marked with a hand on this side. She could easily get over the rail, if she wished, but it was clear that aside from the vast and incomprehensible mechanism in the center of the chamber, there was nowhere for her to go except up the ramp. It ended in a railing, with a twenty-foot gap before it started up again, but on her left was another door with a hand-print panel in the stone wall of the chamber. She could see another door where the ramp resumed, but no panel on that side, and by now the drop to the floor of the chamber was easily enough to brake her legs. It seemed that she could only move forward.

Kaoru puzzled over the panel and the workings of the door. She wondered about the area she had found herself in, the village at the foot before the temple were what one would expect to see in a 3rd world or less civilized,less developed civilization. They were primitive, crude and shoddily put together. The people didnt use any sort of weapon outside of a leather whip. The temple didn't seem so roughshod as the village, it seemed carefully constructed and put together like it had to take several; maybe hundreds even; of years to complete. The tunnel however....... It seemed..... Possibly spaceage. Could the monster the priest mentioned possibly be an alien that had landed and invaded long ago? The form was perfect, no scratches, no dents, no marks or imperfections at all. And that was yet another thing; everything worked too smoothly and flawlessly! The gears,acels,ropes and weights moved much too quiet. There shouldn't be anyway for it to move so perfectly and quiet, even if it was just common metal. No human could make something so perfect. She pondered and wondered about all these things, rather troubled by the impossibility of it all as she made up the ramp and through the chamber.

Kaoru stepped into the room, and much as she had expected, the door closed behind her and presented no panel to open it back up. The room was fairly small, perhaps 30 feet on a side, and ten feet high. On the wall opposite the door she had entered through was a large circle, with 12 marks around the edge. They were simply tick marks, not numbers, letters, or runes. There were two hands on the clock. Oddly, both seemed to be marking seconds, though in different ways - one by moving steadily, the other with "ticks" once each second.

There was also an exit door, on the same side as the one she had entered through. It would obviously lead back out to the ramp on the other side of the gap, and there was a panel with the symbol of a hand on it. When Kaoru touched it, though, it moved out rather then in, and the door didn't budge. It didn't move when she touched it again, no matter how she pushed. A strange sound behind her gave warning, and Kaoru spun to see an translucent blob in the center of the room. It was slightly green, and about 8 feet across. It was oozing towards her smoothly.

Upon seeing the large translucent blob came her way Kaoru would start to panic at first, Oh, crap! That thing is huge! What should I do!? Wait, if I just freak out, that thing will only be able to get the jump on me easier. I need to calm down. I don't know what I can do with my magic right now, but maybe if I focus I can channel some of it into my body and increase the potency of my attacks. Think...... Powerful...... stronger...... let it flow through my body........ She thought to her self as she began to calm down, trying to allow the magic to flow through her blood, muscles and bones, making her more dangerous and stronger physically. She would then open her eyes and run towards the slime before jumping onto the side of the wall, trying to scale it jump off around the slime and trying to land behind it; aiming to land a kick in it's back on the way and spring-boarding off of it. She would then attempt to land a couple of quick powerful strikes to the it's back hoping to at least significantly damage it.

Kaoru concentrated, trying to form a mental command that would enhance her physical abilities, and was almost surprised when she felt the rush of energy pouring out of her. A popup appeared in front of her, just for a moment:

You have unlocked a hidden spell: enhance! The next two physical attacks you make give you a bonus to attack and damage. Cost: 2MP

The slime suddenly surges forward when it gets within about 10 feet of Kaoru, closing the distance in under a second. Fortunately, Kaoru manages to dodge the attack, and bounces off the wall to land behind the slime. From there, she manages to land a strong kick that sends a shudder through the entire slime, and also pushes her out of the way of its quick counterattack.

The mage attacks again, finding it hard to figure out which way the slime is facing, if it was facing in any direction at all, but landing a solid hit with the palm of one hand anyway. Another shudder, and the slime seemed almost to fall apart, before pulling itself together. Again the deceptively quick counter attack, but this time Kaoru wasn't quite quick enough to evade it. The hit to her chest knocked the wind out of her as the enhancements of her earlier spell faded, and then she hit the ground, hard.

For a moment she struggled to breath, much what get up, and in that moment the slime was suddenly on her. And not just on top of her. Beside her too. And below her. With a start, she realized she was now inside the slime. Her entire skin tingled where it touched the slime, with a strange heat. She could somehow still breath normally, but she was no longer on the floor, instead suspended in the center of the slime.

"OOMPH! Owww! Oooh..." Kaoru cries and winces out in pain as the swift and forceful blow to her abdomen causes her to double over clutching her midsection in pain before falling to her knees. As she tried to catch her breath, she would suddenly find her self completely enveloped by the gelatinous creatures substance, it's cool goo causing her to shiver and tingle in slowly building arousal and pleasure, her rod beginning to erect and harden by the sensation. Ahhh..... Oh noooo...... Ahhhh. M-my boobs..... Ahhh, my nipples are getting stiff.....my pussy i-is getting i-itchy and moist...... Ohhhh.... My penis is getting hard...... oooooooo....... I have to fight this...... I..... Kaoru can feel herself growing more and more aroused by the second, but rather then try to escape she chooses to unleash her magic as strongly as she can. And fortunately it as she drains the last of her magic she also feels the slime around her suddenly turn from the odd semi-solid to liquid. She is left drenched and sputtering, but the slime seems to be inert now. She is also still aroused, but fortunately the "dead" slime doesn't seem to have the same arousing effect that the "live" slime did. Before she can do anything, another popup appears.

Cogratulations! Your diligent use of magic has improved your skills. Your maximum MP, attack, and defense have all increased. You have learned two new spells. Your spell list is now as follows:

(normal attack): Standard attack. 0 MP.
Blast: Always hits one target. 1 MP
Speed: For the next two rounds, you may take two actions. 2 MP.
Enhance: For the next 2 rounds, your attacks deal more damage and have a slightly increased chance of hitting. 2 MP.

When Kaoru looked around the room again, she saw that the exit had opened at some point without her noticing. Outside, she could see the central mechanism chamber, and the ramp continuing upward to the next door.

Eeeeeghhh...... gross....... well at least it's good and dead by now, and not trying to rape me...... I can't sit here too long for another monster to come, not to mention I have to finish my mission; but I think it would be a good idea to take a break and regain my wits and composure before moving on. She thought to her self as she tried to wipe off the slime form her body. Before heading out the reopened door, Kaoru decides to take a few minutes to sit down and rest, allowing her strength and magic to recover as well as trying to calm her self down and focus, taking care of her growing arousal before heading out the exit, continuing her journey through the temple and her quest.

Since there seemed to be no pressing need to move quickly, Kaoru wisely decided to make sure that she was recovered before moving on. She sat watching the vast mechanism move. What at first and from below had seemed pure chaos, Kaoru could now see had some sort of pattern. The lowest portion only turned in place, but the further up she looked, the more complicated the movement became. Gears were added, and ratcheting mechanisms, things swung in complicated arcs. There may have been a pattern to the whole thing, but if so it didn't repeat in the time Kaoru watched. Parts repeated, but only the bits closer to the floor.

After about five minutes, Kaoru felt that she was as calm and recovered as she was going to get. She was even nearly dry. The ramp, as expected, spiraled around the chamber until it came to an end at another door, with another gap before it resumed, with the only way to advance presumably being to go through another chamber like that which had held the slime.

When she eventually pressed the button that opened the door, Kaoru looked inside and saw... nothing. Nothing alive, anyway. There was another large circle on the far wall, marked about with 12 runes about the edge. Again there were two hands on the apparent clock, one slightly ahead of the other. As Kaoru watched, the one that was 'behind' jumped up to be exactly even with the other, which she could now see was very slowly moving.

The exit door was different this time then all the doors she had seen before. Or rather, the door was exactly the same, but the button was different. There were, in fact, six buttons, three on either side of the door, all unmarked. And a careful look showed that the area of floor just in front of the door was raised slightly. On the raised portion of the floor were two stylized footprints.

Hrm...... a puzzle........ Well, I guess it would be kind of boring if all the game was nothing but combat and sex....... There seems to be something odd about this "clock" on this wall. One hand slowed down and the other sped up and caught up with it...... and the door has six buttons around it, three on each side. Well I guess the first thing I should do is step up on the little platform with the foot spots...... She thought to herself before slowly and cautiously stepping up on the platform and carefully matching her feet up the best she could to the footprint slots in the block awaiting to see what would happen next.....

As she stood on the pressure plate, Kaoru felt it dip down slightly, and suddenly symbols appeared on the door in front of her. There were seven symbols in a row, all appearing at once, as if they had suddenly been carved into the door. One of them was regularly appearing and disappearing, all at once.

At the same time, the buttons on either side of the door had their own change. A hand print appeared on one at a time, staying for about a second before moving. It moved down the three buttons on one side of the door, then moved to the top button on the other side of the door and moved down those as well. It was repeating so that it was impossible for Kaoru to judge which button it had started on.

After what must have been an hour or so of standing in the same spot rubbing her temples and staring at the door and the buttons so hard she could have bored lasers into it, Kaoru finally decided to make a guess, "Well..... I won't get anywhere or accomplish anything just standing here staring at it....... I guess I'll start with my first best guess. Im guessing the crosses go on one end and the shapes on the other." she resolved with a heavy sigh and began pushing the buttons trying to work out the puzzle.

After considering the puzzle for some time, Kaoru raised a hand and firmly pushed one of the buttons, not entirely sure what she was even supposed to be doing. The button went in smoothly, and the girl instinctively put her finger in her mouth in response to a sharp pain that had come as the button had been pushed all the way in. She felt dizzy and... strangely warm. More then a little warm. She realized with shock that she was aroused, her penis hardening and heat rising between her legs. Nothing else seemed to be happening.

Apparently she had made a wrong decision, and been... punished. The arousal continued to grow for a few more seconds, then started abating. But it didn't go entirely away. A popup appeared briefly in front of her eyes.

Kaoru looked back at the door. Things had changed. The button she had pushed, the upper one on the left, was gone, and the little dot that had been moving between them was gone as well. Now there were several dots on each. Two dots on the upper of the two remaining on the left hand side, three on the lower. There were four, five, and six on the three buttons on the right hand side, from top to bottom. The symbols on the door had changed as well. The blinking "plus" sign was still there, but the other three plus signs had changed into shapes.

There were now (from left to right) two circles, a vertical line, a triangle, the blinking plus sign, an octagon, and a shape that Kaoru at first thought was a circle, but which on closer examination turned out to have thirteen sides. It seemed to her that there was a shape missing, and that she should choose the button that corresponded with it.

Okay, from now on you have a choice for puzzles: figure it out yourself, or roll on it. You can make the decision when you encounter it. There will be 2 rolls per guess: an "understanding" roll that gives +0 to +4, and a "guess" roll with a size and target based on the number of possibilities.

Understanding: 1d20 = 15 -> +3 bonus on guess.
Guessing: 1d6+3 = 6 v target of 5 -> success!

Kaoru continued looking at the puzzle. Behind her, the minute hands moved. On the left were circles, and on the right an octagon and a many-sided shape. Maybe it was about the number of sides? That would make a line, set between a circle and a triangle, a 2. 1,1,2,3,?,8,13. Maybe the sequence had some meaning, but if so Kaoru didn't recognize it. Still, obviously increasing numbers. Between 3 and 8 were 4, 5, 6, and 7. And there was no seventh button. That left three choices. Kaoru carefully pressed the middle button on the right, dreading the feel of another prick on her finger...

Which didn't come. Instead, a pentagon appeared where the blinking plus sign had been, and then the door opened. Well. Kaoru had managed to get through the puzzle without recognizing the fibonacci sequence, but it had cost her a prick on her finger that had left arousal that she could still feel. She continued up the ramp to the next door.

When opened, the door revealed another room, another strange clock on the wall. This one had two hands very near each other, but neither was moving visibly. Around the edge of the clock were twelve sets of runes, in the same language that she couldn't quite read. Below the clock was a pile of cloth of some kind. It looked old, like it should fall apart if anyone touched it.

The exit door didn't have another puzzle, fortunately, but it also didn't have a button to open it. Kaoru was wondering what to do next when she caught movement out of the corner of her eye. She spun, but saw that it was just the hands of the clock. The one that had been slightly behind was now exactly even with the other.

Only then did Kaoru realize that something else had changed. The pile of cloth was no longer there. She spun around, and felt the sting of something striking her breast hard just as she saw a humanoid shape made of the animated cloth. It didn't look so flimsy now. It didn't even look very flammable, with something glistening on the lengths of cloth. She touched her robes where it had struck her, and felt something slightly... sticky. It also seemed to have soaked right through her robe and touched her skin, giving her a sudden rush of heat much like the poison earlier.

Kaoru let a small sigh of relief as she pressed the button on the wall and had not felt another prick and rush of arousal, however the heat from the poison she was inflicted with earlier still plagued her as she felt her member twitch and throb slightly. "Stupid math problems!" she complained as she finished the puzzle and moved up the ramp, "I hate these kind of puzzles..... I've never seen that stuff before....." As she walked through the door into the next room she would notice another clock; and next to it was a bundle of cloth. I wonder if these cloks have some thing to do with the puzzles here? She asked herself, but before she could think too much on it she would notice something out of the corner of her eye. When she turned around she would see the cloth gone before feelin a sharp pain across her bosoms and find the cloth to be replaced by a humanoid form made by the cloth. As she felt where the thing had struck her she would find a sticky substance which would give off a heat much like the wrong guess on the puzzle. Aaah.... It must be some kind of aphrodisiac. I... I'm going to have to be careful not to get hit by it anymore.... She thought as she would try to concentrate- closing her eyes, meditating and crossing her arms in a defensive manner; allowing the magic to course through her body and empower her before thrusting her hands at the monster. As she thrust her arms out at the monster she would send two fireballs directly at the creature before quickly following up with a Blast spell, intent on doing as much damage as possible from the get go.

Kaoru felt the power flow through her, focusing her body and mind. She easily sidestepped the thing's first attack, and sent a pair of powerful balls of fire at the thing. It seemed to cry out noiselessly in pain, and while the dampness of the thing prevented it actually catching on fire, the bits that were hit charred instantly to ash.

Unfortunately, no amount of enhancement to her body would enable her to dodge the little ball of slime that came flying back at her. It hit her in the face, and Kaoru tasted the slightly salty liquid on her tongue, and immediately thereafter felt a heat in her loins. The burning between her legs was starting to get distracting. Which is perhaps why she failed to dodge the thing's followup attack, hitting her firmly on the thigh and leaving another dap of the the odd slime inches from her nethers. She managed to burn another sizeable hole in the demon with a fireball, but things could certainly have been going better.

Kaoru's breathing grew heavier and heavier as she was splattered in the face by the creature's odd slime, incidentally tasting some of it, increasing her already present arousal even more, causing her dick to stir more, her loins to heat up, and her pussy to leak her musky love juices. A-ah...... N-not..... g-good..... I.....Have to f-fight off this itching..... and beat this t-thing...... before I b-become too horny to t-think..... she thought to herself, biting her lower lip, painfully and hardly, but trying not to draw blood just yet, she had used her magic reserves, but with her enhancement she knew, or hoped, that her current spells would be enough to do enough damage to Finnish the thing. She try to keep her distance, but still stay in range to have a decent shot of hitting the monster with a fire ball, staying alert the best she could to try to get out of the way of any of the monster's counter attacks.

Kaoru backed off as best she could, and moved to throw another fireball at the thing, while dodging its counterattack. The ball flew straight for the thing, and she easily dodged its return blow, but to her surprise instead of burning the demon, her fireball bounced off. It landed at her feet, and she gasped in pain at the heat of her own spell.

The young mage tried again, this time more carefully, and this time the fire struck true. Unfortunately, she was unable to avoid the ball of slime that impacted her shoulder. Another burst of heat filled her body. It was getting harder and harder to ignore her arousal. She threw a third fireball, and a fourth, but both only struck glancing blows, bouncing off. She avoided the embarrassment of being hit again with her own fire, and dodged another attack from the beast, but yet again it threw a ball of liquid arousal at her, and she was unable to dodge. This time it hit her in the crotch, inflaming the sensitive skin there.

Perhaps that was why when her next fireball bounced off the beast she found herself unable to dodge it, and found herself facing the beast so aroused that she could barely concentrate, and also singed and exhausted nearly to the breaking point. The only brightside was that she heard the tearing of cloth, and saw that the demon had managed to widen a tear along one of the burns she had given it. As bad a shape as she was in, the wrap demon may well have been in even worse shape.
