Mental Prognosis - A warped arena filled with dark magic.
Each turn following the first, combatants will be forced to make a (Pending) DC 10 + 5X Resistance check or take 2d4 + 8X/4 foreplay pleasure damage, with X being the amount of turns that has passed from the first, and N being a yet undetermined variable. Combatants that fail three resistance checks in a row, will find themselves locked in place by a hallucination, and suffer 2d8 + 12X/3 penetration damage in addition to being stunned.
It should be noted that unlike other arenas, combat does not end upon one opponent being KOed. Rather, the arena's gates will only open once at least 12 turns of combat have passed. Should a combatant have rendered their opponent unconscious, or caused them to submit, in addition to either outlasting or escaping the arena, it is only then they will be declared a victor.

Inventory:
50 Denarii
Melee weapon - Ceremonial Metallic Staff Nil. Base damage is 1 + 1d4 + 6. Always deal Blunt damage.
Ranged Weapon – x2 Evisceratory Throwing Knives - A quintet of blades that are easily concealable. Base damage is 2d6 + (50/4 = 12.5 = 13), range is 20 feet, come in packs of 5, and up to three can be thrown per round. Note that they must be retrieved from dead enemies to be thrown again.
Wanderer’s Enchanted Robe (Leather Armor: AV = 4, EV = 1, TP = 30, DU = 3. Weak against Piercing. Strong against Blunt.)

Minor item [quantity in digits]

Enchanted blindfold: Binds and conceals Enigma’s eyes, which now turn the weak-willed before her to stone, after beginning to delve into the realm of demon magic. Although Enigma can see through them, others can not.

Enchanted Traveler’s Cloak (Part of her “armor”): The old cloak returns to obscure her face…although is now a bit more water and stain resistant than before.

Tea leaves: After the last trip without a good cup of tea…Enigma makes it a point to keep a ready supply with her. If she could do the same with scones, she would.

Rope: Self explanatory

Collar: For any potential “pets” she may decide to keep, although she may be quite satisfied already with Lanai.

x2 Specimen Jars: To collect odds and ends for experiments.

Bio/Description:

"Enigma" is the name by which others address this traveling high elf. A name most fitting given her the mysteries that shroud her, for all that is known about her is speculation at best. Some say she is an exile from her home, for the practice of the necromantic arts. Others claim that she is in actuality, male, and a spy for the Badarian Empire. The only facts that are for certain is that she wanders around from town to town across the land, and is searching for something relentlessly... Either way, "Enigma" is a highly shady character, and should not be trusted by anyone...

That is, if you believe what most people say about her. "Enigma", in truth, is merely a highly inquisitive individual, albeit one that has little respect for cultural traditions, diplomatic relations, and such. From acts such as learning necromancy to sate curiosity despite the protests of her family and friends, to practicing the staff to see if a frail bodied person could fell a bear by herself (a feat that she nearly paid her life for), "Enigma" is highly whimsical and perhaps... insane person who does anything that happens to strike her fancy. Her travels across the land and her "searching"? A desire for knowledge at best, or simply because she "wanted" to travel to a certain destination. The "code of honor" she follows? Purely on a whim, where she decided that a "code of honor" was an excellent thing to have. Throwing her name and past away? Merely an experiment to see if anyone would ever be able to connect the dots. All in all, if anyone ever came to know who "Enigma" truly was, they would find her to be a horrible eccentric and perhaps "lunatic." The fact that she is traveling to a place infested with demons and monsters "for science" does not help in the slightest...

Asides from her bizarre mentality, there is also the matter of her physical appearance. From an average passerby's glance, she would appear to be a fairly normal elf, possessing the slim dainty frame and pointed ears that all elves had, albeit with a slightly disappointing bust size, but an elf nonetheless. That is...until one took a look at her face. Possessing long hair a mixture of purple and white with pink streaks and a pair of impossible heterochromic eyes (one eye being purple, while the other was red) due to a breast enhancing experiment gone wrong (in which her bust also decreased a size to barely a B-cup), her appearance is a fashion designer's worst nightmare, as well as the most probable reason for which she keeps her face hidden at all times...

(Keylo's tl;dr for "Enigma": Insane lovable eccentric I suppose?...)

DG 2:

As of Enigma's last trip though the elf has begun to change in the company of her demon pet, or more accurately...as a result of various forbidden experiments. In a horribly unsuccessful attempt at infusing herself with demonic magic, so as to increase the extent of her powers...Enigma found the energies from devoured foes over the years becoming...unstable, threatening to devour her from within and render a horrifying and truly mad abomination of unbelievable power. Through seals, magical contraptions, and the occasional help from her pet though...the high elf has managed to avoid such a fate for now...yet knows that it is inevitable unless a permanent solution is found. Eyes now possessing faint arcane glyphs inscribed in their center, whose gaze turn all but the strongest willed to stone, and an chaotic aura that attracts demons to her servitude... Enigma now travels the land with her pet, with her eyes bound by an arcane blindfold in search of a means by which to truly bring her power under control. Lest those which lie dormant within her consume her being...and make the remnants of her soul and conscience slave to all those others she had thought to attained dominance over.

Mirror Mirror on the wall.
Darkness approaches, and madness ensues...

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
*Click* A brilliant light from above illuminates a mirror lined ring, with a ground painted the purest of whites. This is the stage of the first fight in the daemon lord's game. A stage created by a mad contender with consistent dealings between the lords of the realm, and one that appears innocent, yet sinister. And it is here that its creator sits in the center with her legs crossed, wearing a hooded black robe as she mulls on the final preparations as per her agreement with the whimsical "god" (as she denotes it), to await her first test- opponent's entry from the raised iron gates she found herself facing...
Inventory:
Swimsuit: AV = 1, EV = 0, TP = 25, DU = 2
Description: Tamonten stands at 5'5" (165 cm) with a lean build from years of training in the art of the sword. Much to her disappointment, this lean build also extends to her petite breasts. Her hair is milky white and falls to her waist. Her eyes are green and she has a youthful, if somewhat average, face. Like all truly professional mud wrestlers, she has chosen to wear a modest black two piece swimsuit for this particular contest. Due to her choice of clothing, it's nearly impossible to miss that she has a pitch-black devil tail with a spaded tip.
Her skin is ghostly pale and when she's in the sun it reflects light to give her a soft glow. Odder than Tamonten's pale glow is that her left arm is an entirely different color than the rest of her skin. Her left arm is literally pitch black. Despite the color of her left arm it is still a fully healthy and mostly functioning appendage. On her left arm is a heavy cast-iron manacle with a chain that links it to a similar cast-iron cuff on her left wrist, both are fused directly to her skin. Tamonten's arm doesn't shake in the mud wrestling arena, I blame plot devices.
Oh jeez, this just gets stranger and stranger, the aforementioned challenger thought as she entered through the gate. Tamonten was sure she had been abducted, although she wasn't entirely sure when and where from, the possessed swordswoman was pretty sure it involved Artmirst. Then...she had somehow ended up in a mud wrestling competition. Was there anything with power that wasn't completely insane in that burnt husk of a town, she idly wondered. There was the offer of a glorious prize though...
Well, there wasn't much point in getting hopeful about that, there were more important things to do, like surviving and figuring out how to escape. The pale girl, now clad in modest black swimsuit as apparently her original clothing was against the rules of the competition, strode forth into the strange arena towards the robed figure, stopping before her. "Er, I guess you're the one I'm supposed to fight...?" Tamonten spoke uncertainly, not really sure what else to say to her apparent opponent.
Re: The Mud Pit
The...attire of her opponent took the robed figure by surprise at first, at least until memory of the battle's nature returned to her. Far more appropriate than her own attire to be fair, but then again...she really didn't feel comfortable in much else, She did ever loathe flashy garments after all.
Rising from her seat as the pale skinned woman spoke, the elf would opt to offer the courtesy of a simple response as she moved her hands to remove the shrouding hood that served to hide her face, allowing her multi-colored hair, and oddly colored eyes to become visible for the her opponent to see.
"Perhaps. Are you too here to serve as entertainment for a Daemon? If so, then well met. If not, then perhaps we can have a friendly chat regardless, until the iron gates drop and battle is to begin..."
Re: The Mud Pit
The unnaturally pale woman looked down at herself. "If this is outfit is any indication, I'm intended to be amusement for somebody," she joked nervously. The swordswoman crossed her pale and blackened arms over her petite chest as best she could, given the added difficulty caused by the heavy manacles on her possessed arm, a little self conscious at remembering what she was wearing and where. The possessed human was a little surprised at seeing the face of her opponent. "I'm morbidly curious as to who or what organized all this."
Tamonten looked to her opponent again before continuing. "I suppose that doesn't matter in this situation. Well met. I'm sorry that we had to meet under these circumstances. But hey, at least they're not having us fight to the death, right?" She added another nervous joke as an afterthought. The swordswoman wasn't sure whether she'd have preferred murderous combat over the rules as they were, apparently complete with powerful voyeur.
((Moving things along... Round 1 of combat, go!))
"For some people perhaps. In my case, the latter would perhaps have been slightly more preferable given how...envious she might be, should the "worst" happen to me in this little game. Though as for who organized this however...I may have an inkling or two as to what may be responsible. Shall we talk of it over tea? After this is through of course."
As if on cue, it would be then that the iron gates behind each of the respective combatants slams down to seal them within, the light illuminating the room growing more brilliant than before for but a second...then seeming to become just a bit...dimmer following, whereas the ground seemed to "ripple" and becoming just a bit softer...
"Oh dear, where are my manners? I am known as Enigma, to most who address me. And you dear?"
Glyphs seemingly inscribed within the pupils of the elf's eyes, one purple and one red, would begin to glow as she spoke, as if to indicate an activation of a power of some sorts. And if such was not enough to signal readiness for battle, the mock combat stance the necromancer adopted surely was.
Re: The Mud Pit
"You can call me by Tamonten. If I win, I'm sorry for what I had to do. If I lose, then I wish you good luck in the future."
The swordswoman dropped her arms to her sides, she rolled the blackened one a few times to test something. It seemed that in...wherever she was, the darkened appendage didn't shake and didn't plague her. The energy seemed almost malleable and, for once, controllable. She allowed only the smallest hints of the demon's power into her body, too curious to resist. "And I'd love some tea." Despite any lack of seriousness in her response, the woman dropped into a ready stance. Tamonten was ready to take the actual 'fight' aspect completely serious.
((Fel Might, X is 2.))
--
With the strange demonic power flowing through her veins, Tamonten decided to make the first move, by charging and trying to grab the other woman. It felt a little strange without her sword, but the pale swordswoman assumed that her opponent was more magically inclined, based on the glyphs, and so assumed that she might be able to overpower the robed woman easily. The possessed woman would probably eventually come to regret her complete lack of spiritual senses.
Grapple Enigma!
Grapple Modifier: 68 = [silver]62 + 6 (Fel Might)[/silver]
1 HP spent for activating Fel Might.
4 EP spent for activating Fel Might and maintaining it 1 round.
Re: The Mud Pit
If her opponent was perceptive as they charged headlong towards her however, one might notice something strange about Enigma as the elf appears to have closed her eyes altogether...her body seemingly have become limp, slouched even while the other ran towards her.
Should things work as the necromancer intended however, at the last possible moment before she was grabbed, she would suddenly lurch away...and deliver a chop to the back of her opponent's neck. Not in the graceful manner of a martial artist, but rather that of a rag doll being thrown about by strings.
Re: The Mud Pit
Okay, never trying to rush creepy robed magic elves ever again, that could have ended badly. Still could, she silently reminded herself. Tamonten had just barely gotten her opponent under any sort of control without taking a punch, and was likely to lose it any second, there was no way that robe was coming off of the elf while she was still able to resist. Which, as embarrassing as it was to the swordswoman, that robe needed to come off or she simply couldn't win. "Sorry!" The swordswoman called out before taking a half-serious swing at her opponent's stomach in the hopes of dazing the elf. She didn't want to hurt Enigma, she just wanted to tear her clothes off...and rape her... Oh gods, this competition is so confusing.
Stunning Blow against Enigma!
Grapple: 68 [silver]62 + 6[/silver]
Dodge: 66 [silver]60 + 6[/silver]
Unarmed (62 - 8 = 54) [2d4 + 16 - 8 = 8]: 31 vs 39 Resistance Check or Enigma is stunned.
Re: The Mud Pit
Obviously she had underestimated her opponent's agility, at least, so Enigma thought as she found herself pinned to the ground. If she was to name any flaw in particular for her ability, it was that, as a spectator partially detached from her body... she had a hard time judging the true strength of her opponent.
...But then again, the freedom to move her body beyond its normal limiters, reshaping and reinforcing specific muscles, bones, and so forth made that slight disadvantage all the more worthwhile, as she seemed to smile still despite being grappled.
"Oh no dear, don't...worry about it!"
For it was then "cracks" would be heard as the elf appeared to dislocate a few bones here and there, so as to reverse the grapple...and perhaps place the other into a submission hold while they were trying to stun her...
((Submission Hold if possible, that or comically Remove Tamonten's armor instead if Enigma can't reverse it in that manner.))
Re: The Mud Pit
It's always puppets! Tamonten wanted to proclaim her general dislike of puppetry at the elf's doll-like motions. "Ack!" The swordswoman actually said as she was subdued to the ground. It wasn't exactly a tactical decision, breaking the hold was the only option available. She struggled against the empowered Enigma to try to get back into the fight.
Re: The Mud Pit
This time, Enigma's smile would perhaps been far more justified...yet the "slasher-eqsue" nature of it was not perhaps as she had some how, rolled Tamonten onto her back, and was almost pinning her literally "into" the ground, which's top layer had softened into a strange white goo of sorts. Choosing to keep her opponent's arm pinned with a choice pinpoint press using her elbow, there would be a crack as she caused her arm to turn an almost impossible angle so as to grab the warrior's "armor".
"See? Nothing to worry about. Now then, let us proceed with the game's nature and get these out of the way...shall we?"...
..As the light continued to grow dimmer, Enigma would attempt to tear away the armor that hindered her progress.
Re: The Mud Pit
"I don't intend on going down this easily!" She called out. Despite the bravado, things were taking a turn for the worse, for Tamonten anyway, as Enigma proceeded to remove her coverings, exposing the entirety of her pale body to the elf and whatever else was watching. Worse, the swordswoman had made no progress in getting out from beneath her magically enhanced opponent. It was difficult to counter the obscene angles in which the necromancer could twist her body. The possessed girl was never much for thinking on an action, however. Rather than trying to understand, the suddenly-blushing human decided to try to brute force the strange elf off of her.
Meet the new action same as the old action.
Re: The Mud Pit
Plucking away that swimsuit that served as the girl's sole means of "defense", the elf would continue her rather...disturbing smile, as her eyes flash a bit...becoming just a bit more red, if that was possible.
"...I do apologize for this however dear. But as my skill, and knowledge in these matters is a back lacking...I'll have to cheat a bit, and borrow from a few memories to compete. My apologies."
Locking her legs around Tamonten in possibly a manner that only the most flexible of martial artists could hope to mimic, another resounding crack from her body echoing through the battleground as she did so, Enigma would use her freed hands to begin running along the length of the warrior's body...gently...briskly...hoping that the use of two of her empowered limbs would be enough to keep the warrior still.
Re: The Mud Pit
Unfortunately however, her legs alone would seem to prove insufficient in holding Tamonten down, the latter managing to slip away while she attempted to get to work. Yet, not to be discouraged, Enigma would change her strategy to wrapping her arm around the warrior's neck...so as of course, to yank her back into a submission hold...
Re: The Mud Pit
Tamonten mentally chalked up another point for brute force with no regard for the consequences as she managed to bring herself off the floor. The swordswoman was covered in the goop of the rapidly melting floor. Part of her wanted to try another swing at the elf, for some less than tactical reasons. The other part of her remembered that she needed to make an attack of a different type to truly win, especially since she didn't want to find out what happened when the arena fully darkened. So, she did the only sensible thing by her reckoning and tried to yank her opponent's robes up and out of the way.
