The walk doesn't take too long, and Helena and Ginny soon pass the manor and find the right house. The bush fence surrounding the house is overgrown, hiding the house entirely from view. Inside, the house doesn't look very well tended apart from a reinforced frond door with protective sigils carved into it and the surrounding walls. The windows are also bolted and the place is surrounded by a strong smell of garlic.

"we have a problem Ginny, Garlic. I really hope he isn't actually being hunted by vampires, one was bad enough..." Helena says as she looks around for any clue as to where the occupant went, or signs of a struggle...

"Vampires aren't the worst thing we might have to deal with." Ginny starts to knock the door, but hesitates and takes a better look at the sigils. Instead, she releases a bolt of energy at the door. The sigils start glowing softly. After there's no reaction, Ginny does it again.

"Just telling the owner that we're here. I doubt it's safe to touch the door."

Several minutes later, there's still no sign of life from inside.

"I don't have time for this." Helena says before leveling a massive telekinetic burst at the door. Knocking be damned.

The blast only makes the sigils glow brighter, as they absorb more energy from the environment. "That won't work. We'll need to target the sigils themselves to get past. I think...If we hit the door with fire and cold at the same time, that should break the sigils. Ready?" Once Helena indicates her readiness, Ginny shoots a small beam of cold at the door.

Helena matches her with a bolt of fire, more then a little annoyed at the situation...

A small crack appears in one of the sigils, and it stops glowing. Several more attempts render the door safe, and Ginny tries the handle. When the door turns out to be locked, she simply melts the lock.

Inside, the house is a mess. Fast-food boxes, dirty clothes and similar signs of bachelor living are everywhere, but there's no sign of anyone living. There are a few closet doors warded with sigils, as well as a heavy steel door, bolted from outside and covered with even more potent wards than those surrounding the house, as well as silver crosses that Helena can sense are blessed. The smell of garlic permeates the entire building.

Helena looks around the house and snorts at all of the sigils and crosses. "Well someone's scared shitless. HELLO~~~! Not Vampires! Promise!!!" She shouts through the house, wondering where the hell the occupant was...

It might occur to Helena that the smell of garlic might cover any number of other smells, including blood. Ginny focuses on the closets, though instead of breaking in with brute force, she tries to puzzle out how they should be opened. It doesn't take very long until she has one of them open, revealing a collection of holy water and powdered silver as well as drawings of a summoning circle - the same one Jasmine used.

"Umm... Ginny. Thats the same Summoning Circle that was used to pull me through hell by Jasmine, we may have a real problem, or just something flat out wierd. I'm going to try and figure things out, be careful" Helena says as she moves around each room looking for a struggle, blood, burns, broken furniture, Any solid clue as to what the hell had happened here.

There's no signs of anything unusual having happened in the house, save perhaps for whatever secrets the other closets and the sealed cellar may hold.

Helena looks at the seals on the door and decides to go around them entirely. Odds were this house had a basement and rather then go through the door, Helena banged around on the floor until she found a hollow spot. Clearing the space away, Helena placed her hand on the wooden floor and began to heat it and push, why use a door when you could knock a hole in the floor...

The wood is backed with solid concrete, and soon bursts into flames before yielding. Ginny is looking at the other protected closet, and doesn't even notice immediately.

Helena snorts and puts the flames out. "Well so much for that plan!" She says as a blast of cold air whips through the house and extinguishes any remaining embers that may have escaped her notice. "I need help with this door, since going around it isn't an option." Helena said, annoyed.

Ginny opens the closet, revealing only books inside. With a sigh, she turns to face the steel door."That's going to take a lot of power to get through. I need you to focus your energies through me."

"Fine, just get ready for whatever might be down there." Helena says, waiting for things to get started and opening herself up to Ginny.

Helena can feel Ginny rather clumsily reaching for her and grabbing her mind. A good pull starts the energy flowing, and Helena can feel her reserves starting to deplete thankfully slowly. Ginny reaches towards the door, and a ray of pure magic shoots out from her hand, quickly starting to destroy the protection spells. It still takes a good while for them all to be destroyed, and Helena is starting to feel quite drained by the time its over, though nowhere near as much as Ginny looks. The door stays shut, and there's no sound from inside.

"Well, That sucked" Helena says dryly, looking at Ginny. "Go find Jasmine quick as you can, we're no good sucked dry. I'll take a look around and run if I find anything hostile." Helena says before opening the door and looking inside carefully.
