Aqua dishes out portions for the rest of them, and everyone starts eating together. The meal is an unusually silent one, and only Cindy and Aqua seem to have lots of energy left - and Strike, of course.

Strike seems confused at Helena's attempt, and scuttles to talk with Helena face to face.

Helena repeats the attempt, and then pokes the word, and then repeats again, trying to find a middle ground. If it didn't work, then she would just go back to learning and find another way, happy to continue her lessons for now, happily prodding away with her bestest friend ever!

Strike taps the word back, and apparently attempts to do the same mentally, but that comes across completely muddled.

Helena sighed, it had been worth a shot. O well, Back to lessons! Twas time to learn Spider!!! Or torment someone, or both. Scratching the spiders head, she prodded Strike to try and teach her more, 4 words not really counting as an extensive vocabulary really.

Strike starts teaching Helena again, and in the space of an hour manages to get across words for human, prey, danger and slingshot.

Helena enjoys the pokefest immensely and learns a few very handy words indeed. Laughing to herself as several revenge schemes came to mind, she shook her head and suddenly glomped the spider, scratching and snuggling and resuming the usual derpery. *SO! We basically wait for the salvage and make some easy money. That's the plan for the night currently?*

Strike hugs and cuddles with Helena happily while the others look. *That's the plan. I'll head up in a bit to see if I can see them coming.*

*If you do, please actually take care to watch out for yourself, we still may have pissed off cultists nearby and who knows what else* Helena sent over to Jasmine, still goofing around. Extricating herself from Strike and scratching her head before giving the Spider a kiss, Helena turned to observe the others.

"So everybody, the end of this goofy little camping trip is almost here, and we stand to make a fortune. Anything we want to do before we're forced back into civilization?" Helena asked smiling.

Flame appears out of the forest and Cindy starts scratching and petting it while Jasmine does a few stretches before flying away and Aqua starts doing dishes.

"I think I'll get a few hours of sleep. I wouldn't be surprised if we won't get much tonight."

"Alright then, Night Cindy" Helena says smiling, before popping up into the air herself, eager to finally have her little... Chat with Jasmine. Flying up to meet her quickly, Helena flew to her left and spoke. "So. What were you thinking, bringing Willow out here. It's so far from safe it isn't even funny."

Jasmine is quietly gliding through the air when Helena finds her, looking north at the distance. For a moment she doesn't answer and the only sounds are their wings beating and the wind's whispering. "You think she would have been safer where we left her?"

"Then here with you and me? Where we draw the attention of motherfuckers like Malek, and I occasionally go berserk and try to burn a town to the ground over a slight? Hell yes she's safer! Unless you know something I don't!" Helena said quickly growing angry for a reason she couldn't explain and hoped Jasmine understood. It was like it wasn't her speaking, but someone else and less experienced. Helena knew in her gut that Willow was safer directly under their care, but her mouth wouldn't say the words as fear took hold. It was not from others that Helena feared would harm Willow, But from herself...

Jasmine has an answer ready, like usual: "She's a witch, Helena, and a rather capable one, too. If something goes wrong, she can handle herself. But in this world priests have real powers, and the church was hunting her."

Helena was shaking with anger before she got a handle on herself. Suddenly steadying in the air as they flew, Helena let the wave of calm wash over her as the puzzle pieces fell into place. "You know Jasmine, You could have simply told me. You did this for more then one reason. Were you hoping it would balance me a little? to put old demons to rest? Ya, we can watch out for Willow, and she can handle herself I'm sure. She made it this long, But that doesn't protect her from me, that's your job since you brought her here Jasmine, no bullshit." Helena said quietly as the night only grew darker moment by moment.

"Despite my misgivings, I'm glad she's here, happy. Thank you Sister" Helena added before peeling off and circling the camp slowly, her eyes open as she stayed deep in thought.

Jasmine doesn't answer as Helena flies away.

As Helena circles the camp, she sees that Cindy is making good of her word and the cooking fire has already been stamped off and everyone is in the tent except the spiders and Fenrir, who is padding around, sniffing things.

Helena lands next to Fenrir and pats her leg, ushering the wolf over for some love and a walk to take Helena's mind off things. She didn't enjoy Jasmine making decisions for her, but with her centuries of experience, she was usually right. And maybe it was that facet that always made Helena angry about it, not at Jasmine, but at the things she seemed to be unable to see herself. Scratching Fenrir behind the ears, Helena just kept a watchful eye open and a steady patrol through the night, waiting for Jasmine's signal that the boat was in sight.

Fenrir gives Helena's hand a lick and follows her into the night before suddenly breaking into run. Helena just spots a shape the wolf is chasing before it disappears into the night.

And Helena is off after Fenrir like a shot, even going as far as to lighten her weight to increase the length of her strides as she followed Fenrir, wondering what he had seen, and hoping it was just a rabbit. Just to check, Helena swept around with her mind, really hoping Fenrir wasn't chasing an 8 year old or something else horrible.

Even with her lighter weight, Helena can't keep up with Fenrir as the large wolf moves with surprising grace and speed. The only thing coming from the thing the wolf is chasing is the feeling of pure terror, so strong and spicy that it overwhelms everything else.

Helena continues to give chase, not able to stop the wolf because they weren't bound in any way, and unable to communicate with it properly. Although the question of why fear is spicy did nag at her a little, she kept running hoping it was just a rabbit.
