Jessica's hand seems to find an arm, which elicits another groan. "Helena?" The voice is barely recognizable and she can only barely make out the word, but it's definitely Anne. Soon she feels a hand grab her arm and she can feel Anne turning towards her, though she's not quite sure how.

Jessica's reaching arm found an arm in the darkness, which prompted another groan. Helena? Who is Helena? Jessica wondered, as a hand grabbed her own arm. It was clear to her that the voice was Anne, and she could feel the assistant turning towards her, but it wasn't really clear how she could do so.

Another hand reaches towards Jessica, feeling her face. "Is that you, Jessica?" The hands go away and suddenly light fills the room, showing coffins lining the walls and Anne's face right in front of Jessica, though there seems to be something wrong about the girl

Jessica feels Anne gently touching her face, gently feeling to make sure its her, and as the hand retreats light suddenly fills everything, causing the nerdy girl to blink. "Yes, it's me" she said, noting the coffins lining the walls. That was odd. There was something wrong with Anne though, something she couldn't quite place. "Are you alright?" she asked, reaching out to gently touch the other girl's shoulders.

As Jessica touches Anne, the girl looks down and suddenly a horrified expression covers her face as she pulls away. "Your legs!" Looking down, Jessica can see see that her and Anne's legs have been replaced by tails of fishes from thighs down.

Jessica is confused as a look of horror crosses Anne's face, and she looks down with her, only to find that her legs have been replaced with a fishy tail, just like Mierin had. The same is true for Anne as well. "Wha... what... what the crap... what is this!?" she shouted, dumbfounded at the change. She tried to move it, testing it out, but she was utterly disturbed. "How did this even happen? Surely zombies can't turn people into mermaids!"

The tail obeys Jessica's thoughts and makes moving around easier, though it takes a little getting used to. "I... I don't know. We should ask Jes- I mean Miller."

"I guess we should... but.. we won't be able to get on the ground... oh, what will we do..." Jessica muttered, looking around for her harpoon, trying to swim around and get used to her new method of locomotion.

With the light it's easy for Jessica to find her gear, including the harpoon near the doorway. Anne starts putting her gear on, but then just ties it into a bundle.

Finding her gear, she picked most things up, though she didn't even bother with the shredded wetsuit. It definitely wouldn't fit her now... "Come on" she urged, starting to swim quickly towards the exit, wanting to get out and see if the doctor knew anything about this sort of thing.

Though their new forms are faster, having to drag their equipment doesn't help and they're not suitable for such confined spaces, so it takes a while for the pair to get out. The sun is already setting and Jessica sees Willow pacing back and forth near the fire.

The situation became even more troubling for Jessica, as she found herself having some trouble navigating the narrow spaces of the labyrinth. Could she really do anything unless this was fixed? When the two of them had gotten out of the labyrinth she saw Willow pacing back and forth in front of the fire, and she swam forward a little, keeping most of her body under water. "Willow... now, keep an open mind and don't get all shocked" she called out. "Something... really odd happened... Please, get the doctor out here."

Willow gives the pair a single look before running into the tent and fetching Miller, who comes running, and seems to be on the verge of bursting into tears. "Oh my god! What happened?"

Jessica cringed as the doctor ran out, seemingly about to cry. "Calm down, calm down and don't freak out" she said, making downward motions with her hands to emphasize the point. "Something happened, and... we've kind of become... mermaids..." she said, slowly rising up out of the water to reveal her tail. "Have you ever heard of this happening before...? Is there any way to fix it...?"

Miller takes a deep breath and then another. She manages to calm down some. "I've heard rumors," she says slowly, "but they seemed pretty farfetched. Transforming a person into another form takes powerful magic and only demons seem to be able to do it easily, when they're corrupting someone. What happened? Did you touch something weird perhaps or...?"

Jessica blushed bright red as the doctor spoke, and sunk back into the water self-consciously, remembering that she was naked. "Uhhh... We kind of... got raped by a zombie..." she said, her eyes avoiding the others. "Do you think that might have done it?"

The doctor blushes as well, and Anne seems busy staring down her tail. "Um, I don't think so. It could be some benevolent magic to stop you from drowning. In that case, there's probably a way to reverse it somewhere in the ruins."

"Well... that's good, at least. I suppose I could be dead otherwise... Willow, in my tent I have some bikini tops... could you bring me one? I don't want to just be naked all the time. Until then... what are we going to do? We can't get out of the water... where will we sleep until morning?" Jessica asked, looking blushed and nervous. At least it might be reversible. And besides, maybe it wasn't so bad... Most of the time had been spent under water so far, so being able to breathe normally under water would probably be an asset.

Willow quickly fetches a pair of bikini tops, throwing one to Anne as well. The other mermaid smiles thankfully before putting it on. "I think we'd better all rest now. Maybe things will be clearer in the morning. Do you want something to eat?"

Jessica caught the bikini top that was thrown to her and quickly put it on, allowing herself to rise back out of the water once she was covered. "I'm not hungry at the moment, no. But... where will Anne and I sleep?"
