Re: This is a Great Plan (Smokefish, Host, Hentaispider, and Hafnium)

Kherem smiled and nodded at Oormi, after she had explained her magical capabilities, and limits. "I appreciate the thought, Lady Oormi.", was his response about him not recieving a boon. There was no disappointment to his voice or bearing, as long as Melissa would recieve magical aid. Next, his attention turned to Lumi as she spoke, and a smile formed. "Yes, I would greatly appreciate such a boon, Lady Lumi. Dodging is not one of my better skills, especially not when compared to the likes of Lady Oormi. A magical shell or armor to lessen the blows I inevitably recieve would be very much welcomed.". And finally, his gaze turned to Melissa, listening to her as she spoke. He looked a little saddened to see her sulk like that, but it was quickly replaced with a curious look as the girl grinned, obviously having something in mind. Which then turned into a confused stare when she looked at him and implied him getting distracted. "I would ask what you are plotting, Melissa, but your choice of words leave me uncertain about wanting an answer. I only ask that it is nothing that would backfire upon the rest of us. Or yourself."

With a deep, calm breath, Kherem nodded gratefully at Lumi. "Thank you for tending to my wounds, Lady Lumi.", and then he laid back down, to rest what little might be possible before the next fight.

"My boon would increase your strength in most ways. But if your plan desires something a little more specialized, it is not impossible, and requires much the same," the blind girl suggested, leaving her hand out. Oormi would grant the humanoid woman whichever empowerment she preferred in the end. Afterward, she would sit down and keep mostly to herself as she mentally prepared herself for the next fight.

Short post, I know, but didn't have much to add beyond the buff change. >.>

Use a Level 2 Resistance Buff (Arcane Armor) on Melissa instead
Costs Oormi 2 EP and 0 Upkeep.
Melissa gets +12 resistance.
19 Base Casting, 10 DC.

Probably Applicable Stats (with buffs and penalties): 45 Dodge, 7 (TP = 25, DU = 1) armor, 27 Resistance, 15 Perception
Enemies must win a resistance check against her or their attacks automatically miss.

Cheat Sheet

When being attacked by powers or spells, Oormi gains +10 dodge and has +10 resistance against their effects.

Oormi takes +4 PP and EP damage.
She takes *1.5 corruption from anything that would cause her to gain corruption.
Despite having kitsune heritage, Oormi does not drain EP or absorb people unless specifically noted as she doesn't yet realize she can.

She has fertility and becomes pregnant on a roll of 2 or higher.

Re: This is a Great Plan (Smokefish, Host, Hentaispider, and Hafnium)

Kherem: HP = 90, PP = 55, EP = 42/55, Status = Fine

Melissa: HP = 59, PP = 65, EP = 44, Status = Fine

Lumi: HP = 54, PP = 70, EP = 44/56, Status = Fine

Oormi: HP = 80, PP = 72, EP = 47/60, Status = Fine, +12 Perception (Lesser Strength)

Kherem’s wound ached painfully as he lifted Melissa’s unconscious body even if it wasn’t on the side with his wound, Lumi appearing right beside him as she dropped her invisibility spell and Oormi moving to collect the fallen woman’s weaponry. When the three of them left the arena through the door by which they had entered, followed still by the roar of the crowd, they were greeted immediately by an alraune in a skimpy nurse’s outfit that was somewhat ruffled. “Oh dear, come right over here!” she said immediately, and directed the four of them over to a small field hospital constructed in the corner. “Damn melees… Always a hundred or more people getting hurt…” she muttered, and then directed for all of them to take a cot or a chair. “Don’t go wasting your energy or your supplies, you’re going to need them and this is what I’m here for!” she said as she saw Kherem preparing to feed Melissa a healing potion and Oormi and Lumi both moving to heal the two of them.

The woman cast a spell that restored the fallen half-daemon to consciousness, and then healed both Kherem and Oormi of their wounds as well, though restoring their spiritual strength was seemingly beyond her abilities. Thankfully, it seemed that they had plenty of time to wait between matches, as they had been the second in a series of four initial bouts. A group of men all dressed in the same uniform, gleaming scale mail beneath red vests, and with kite shields in one hand and shining swords in the other, came jogging out of a different alcove and went through the arena door following the announcer calling for the “shining dragon force.” After tending to their wounds, the alraune left the four of them to their plotting as she saw to other patients.

It seemed like they would have a decent amount of time to rest before their next battle, as the next match proved to last a while. There was a shop in the center of the arena common room, and opposite the infirmary in which the now stood was a practice square with a bunch of training dummies set up. The other two cubicles were both occupied by groups of fighters, some in uniform and some not. One had another group waiting to enter the melee, but the other had a quartet of women who had already fought and won their match, and were now sitting around a coffee table awaiting their next bout just like the Foxy Fighters were. One was a big woman with green skin and braided red hair, whom Melissa at least would recognize as an orc, and sitting across from her was an extremely thin woman who was apparently human and dressed all in black. The one sitting next to the orc was a short, stocky girl who looked far too young to be fighting, but who was also dressed in extremely heavy looking armor and wielding an axe that was almost as large across as she was, and the last of their group was a demonic looking woman with pitch black, bat-like wings coming from her back.

"Thank you.", would be Kherems words to the Alraune as he was healed by her, and then voice his thoughts regarding how they could improve their teamwork.(AKA what has already happened, post-wise, just minus being healed by Lumi)

His attention was soon drawn to the rest of the surrounding area, in particular the shop. The tall warrior gave his tattered robe a brief, scornful look, and then slowly rose to his feet as he gave his companions a small smile. "I think I shall seek out a merchant. Perhaps it is time for me to invest in sturdier armor.", of course, Kherem would wait incase any of his friends wished to join him for the trip to the shop. Wether he was joined or not, he would head over there and browse the wares to start with, a little uncertain of what equipment to pursue.

Re: This is a Great Plan (Smokefish, Host, Hentaispider, and Hafnium)

When the alraune had finished, Oormi still offered Melissa the magical buff. It was a simple enough wave that maintaining it wouldn't actively stress her and, since she needed to maintain her sight anyway, there was no disadvantage to bestowing it sooner rather than later.

Regardless of whether or not the humanoid woman took that offer, the shortest kitsune's next course of action was to look around--as well as a blind woman could, at least. It was a fairly simple layout, all the better for her. The foxgirl's attention was mainly drawn toward four other women in one of the waiting areas, though she wasn't sure why. Intuition, perhaps? Maybe they would be the group's next opponents. The short girl in the quartet made her a little uneasy when she thought of it that way. How old was she? It was hard to tell given the quirks of the wave wielder's vision. What if she was accidentally killed in the fighting? It was still difficult to accept the knight's death, let alone if a youth was slain.

The blind woman's train of thought was shaken from that by Kherem's announcement that he needed better armor. She ended up nodding. "My garb, gear, and supplies are holding up well enough that I don't require a trip to the shop. I'll try to find us all a place to rest while we wait for the next match." When Kherem set off with whoever might end up in tow and the remainder settled upon their decisions, she would do just that, searching for an open place with enough seating for all four of her new team.

Try to find some sort of sittery with four chairs open, preferably, or at least a place out of the way and comfortable enough to sit on the ground.

If Melissa still wants the +12 resistance buff, give her that too. 2 EP cost, 0 EP upkeep, etc. etc.

Probably Applicable Stats (with buffs and penalties): 45 Dodge, 7 (TP = 25, DU = 1) armor, 27 Resistance, 15 Perception

As the nurse diverts attention from Lumi, the white kitsune hesitates, but decides not to say anything. When Melissa asks for assistance, Lumi is beaten to a punch by Oormi, and decides to leave it at that, too.

As Kherem declares his intentions, Lumi simply shakes her head. She would wait until Kherem has left before muttering an excuse about going to bathroom and leaves the tent, only to sneak behind it and start tailing Kherem, making sure to stay far enough to avoid notice and even changing her shape to rid herself of the distinctive ears and make her hair black.

Oormi found another section of the alcove containing their potential opponents that was uninhabited and had a wall between them and where her group would be seated. The chairs weren't the most comfortable in the world, but it was relatively secluded and private enough that it wouldn't risk any strategy discussion being overheard in the noisy common room without a listener being either very close or possessed of supernatural hearing.

Kherem, meanwhile, headed over to the shop, unaware that he was being followed by Lumi now in the guise of a completely different person. The stall was manned by three different people, but it was a busty woman with demon's horns sticking up and curling around her head, over her crimson hair. Her skin was a deep, dark tan, and she flashed Kherem a pearly smile and said; "What can I get for yah hun? We've got some special healing potions, a few rare trinkets, and a wide selection of food items!"

Re: This is a Great Plan (Smokefish, Host, Hentaispider, and Hafnium)

Melissa sized the competition up as blatantly as she did everyone else. Most humans might think in terms of rules, honour, and other noble constructs when in a scheduled battle like this one. The warrior, true to her earlier comments, disliked the idea of scheduled battles. When she saw her enemies before her, her instinct was to fight. Thankfully for the team, she was a composed enough individual not to attack the competition… directly. A battle was a battle, to the handmaiden, and that meant using all resources and everything in your power to win, even if the rules dictated things that ‘could’ or ‘couldn’t’ be done. She had seen much success (and hilarity) with potent laxatives in the past, and though the shops here would likely focus more on martially applicable items, there were sure to be some poisons around. Though as broke as a one wheeled bike, Melissa cared as much for the rules of shopping as she did the rules of the arena – and she had always liked the clause for those possessing five fingers…

“…I’m fine, too.”Melissa agreed after Oormi, rejecting Kherem’s request to go shopping. The tall kitsune was hardly the kind to help her steal, and would probably be a detriment. Besides, the disappearance of Kherem meant that Melissa could ask the questions she had been dying for an answer to. Lumi stepping out – Melissa taking her announcement at face value – didn’t hinder that in any way, and the human followed the more literally foxy fighter as she moved to a more secluded resting place. The Handmaiden could set about her underhanded intentions after her curiosity was satisfied. Besides, the stall was triple-manned; getting anything would be limited to the on-counter quick-snatch targets - if she didn’t plan on outrunning the guards and forfeiting the match, of course – and poisons were likely not on display. It was a nice, simple plan, but the complexities of reality made it infeasible.

“…So, what’s with the eyecloth? is it just really thin, or something?” Someone with less situational awareness may have questioned why Melissa, and, for that matter, the other two kitsune would be willing to take an apparently blind person onto their team. To Mel, it was subconsciously clear that despite the covering on Oormi’s eyes, she could see with only moderate impedance. everything about the woman’s body and equipment said that she could see without issue; no matter how good you were at walking with only the other senses to guide you, a creature legitimately acting without sight had physical tells that she simply wasn’t displaying… not to mention the comfort she had with her own ability to move and react was beyond anything that the legitimately blind could normally claim to possess. ….Oh, and the fact that her head tilted around to look at things, that was kinda an obvious tell. Perhaps because of her earlier restraint, the woman’s mouth didn’t stop until she had gotten out all she wanted to say, or was interrupted. “I can’t imagine it’s too easy to see through. Is it to throw people off? Because you’re not putting up a very good blind act…”

Re: This is a Great Plan (Smokefish, Host, Hentaispider, and Hafnium)

Kherem offered the demongirl a polite smile, and would have a look around at the available selection, his tail slowly waving back and forth while his ears twitched curiously from time to time. While indecisive at first, he'd slowly formulate what he wanted to buy. Likely at an agonizingly slow pace for anyone else wanting to purchase something that didn't end up serviced by another shopkeep.

"I think I'll have... Four of those mugs...", he'd motion for or otherwise point out the Commemorative Mugs that was for sale, "... filled with milk...", unless clearly labeled or noted as succubi produce, he would sound completely oblivious as far as knowing its origin went, "... and three of those sandwiches... aaand a bowl of stew.", he nodded slowly, raising his chin and scratching under it as he made another pause to think, then beamed a giddily excited smile. "A set of javelins would be nice too. Could I have a tray or plate to carry the foodstuffs on? I'd return it of course, and it would be muchly appreciated.", having finally made his decisions of what to purchase, he would start counting up the coin while humming quietly, pay for the goods, and if borrowed a tray he would then set out about finding where Oormi had found the group a place to have a seat and rest. If not given a tray, he'd try to carry it as well as he could without spilling or dropping anything. The set of quivers, if bought along with a quiver, would simply be slung over a shoulder for easy carrying. If not, he'd keep them under an arm, firmly held in place as to not scatter everywhere.

There was no sense of combat readiness to the tall Kitsune, no perceptible proof of it at least, outside of using all prowess he possessed to have the foodstuffs delivered without incident to where the foxy fighters would be sharing their meal. He might even look like being in a good, if maybe eccentric, mood.

8 Denarii for 4 Mugs
8 Denarii for 4 Milks
9 Denarii for 3 Sandwiches
5 Denarii for 1 MYSTERY STEW
50 Denarii for 1 Set of Javelins

80 Denarii Total

Re: This is a Great Plan (Smokefish, Host, Hentaispider, and Hafnium)

"I'm not entirely sure what you're implying," the foxgirl replied politely after patiently waiting until the end of Melissa's inquiry. She wasn't quite that naive, of course, but it was far more difficult to make a measured response than it was to simply lie and feign ignorance. Besides, it was certainly a different sort of question for the short kitsune. Among the faeries she had mostly been coddled for her disability. Having someone claim that she had no problems at all was something entirely different--not offensive, almost pleasant.

"It does not create any extra difficulty for me, nor is it a trick. I wear it because otherwise some might find my eyes unsettling." Reaching back behind her head, Oormi untied her blindfold and placed it on the table. She opened her eyes to reveal two red eyes without pupils, though that only lasted for several seconds before she closed them. The roguish woman was dead on in at least one of her assumptions, the otherwise blind girl saw the same array of colors regardless of whether her eyes were open or shut as long as she maintained her magic. "I see through the waves now," she said with all the passion of a woman who would go on a spiel about the subject if given half the chance.

Self control won out, however, and instead she managed to stop after adding; "You may try on my blindfold if you would like." She slid the ordinary white piece of cloth toward Melissa before retracting her hand. For a few moments, the foxgirl was ready to let the conversation drop at that. It was only on an impulse that she decided to sate her own curiosities, since she had attempted to satisfy the other woman's. "If you don't mind me asking, how long have you known Master Kherem?"

Re: This is a Great Plan (Smokefish, Host, Hentaispider, and Hafnium)

The sight of Oormi's eyes didn't faze Melissa quite as much as it might have others; she had known enough people who had, or could get, freaky looking eyes - herself included. Normally the pupil remained, of course, but that didn't always mean too much. She was probably blind, yes, but never having seen a creature with Oormi's ability, Melissa could only assume there was some form of trick going on. She wordlessly extended a hand to take the blindfold when it was offered, putting it against her eyes but not bothering to tie it. Yep, that's a blindfold. She decided, after a moment's testing. The only way to discover what allowed her ally to see without sight would be to press on with her curiosity, and press blindly forward she did.

"Waves?"

The word was the sound of a key turning in a lock.

If the warrior somehow survived the Kitsune's explanation, she moved to answer the immortal foxes' own question. While there might have been some amusement in continuing the misconception that they had been together for some time, given that Kherem wasn't present there was no immediate gain - besides, keeping up a lie tended to get complicated sooner or later, and the human liked to keep things simple. She could leave the lies to her father. ...Unfortunately, the human's intention was somewhat lost in her phrasing. "Hmm... I met the kid, maybe... three, five... well, I don't know exactly, but a bit before he met you."

Before Oormi could ask for a more specific answer, Melissa had continued. "He really likes you... and Lumi, too." The statement was largely matter-of-fact, though with a slight downheartedness. Melissa didn't normally consider others to be sexual rivals for her targets, figuring that she would get to ride them sooner or later... but it was disappointing to see Kherem so blatantly excited by the fluffier members of the group, yet largely just annoyed by her own actions.

"He gets really horny at the thought of fucking his kin." she added, calling it as she saw it, in the exact same tone she had previously spoken.

Seeing Kherem step into the shop, Lumi casually walks past before stopping to listen near it, thus missing the start of the conversation. Nervously looking around, the kitsune's now human-like ears twitch as she mentally curses their inferior shape.

As soon as the male kitsune steps out of the tent, Lumi quietly makes an illusion of her current shape, covering herself with it, followed by Invisibility spell. The illusion continues to follow Kherem while Lumi changes her shape again, making herself a redhead this time, with tanned skin.

Dropping the invisibility, the skinny kitsune then follows Kherem and finds a spot where she can resume her own shape, before going a minute or so after Kherem to the alcove with the others.

Re: This is a Great Plan (Smokefish, Host, Hentaispider, and Hafnium)

Kherem: HP = 90, PP = 55, EP = 55, Status = Fine

Melissa: HP = 59, PP = 65, EP = 44, Status = Fine

Lumi: HP = 54, PP = 70, EP = 50/56, Status = Fine

Oormi: HP = 80, PP = 72, EP = 47/60, Status = Fine, +12 Perception (Lesser Strength)

When she went over to case the open air shop, Melissa might have been surprised to find that poisons were, indeed, out on display, though the three attendants still presented an obstacle. Still, the large booth drew a lot of attention, and with the right opportunity she might be able to snatch something. Of course, it would risk getting into trouble and possibly getting her team kicked out of the arena, in addition to the problem of any safety measures that the Acheron Arena staff might have put up to protect their goods. The choice on whether or not to take the risk after she finished speaking with Oormi was hers.

"Right away sir!" the attending demoness replied to Kherem once he had finished outlining everything that he wanted. "I'll put all of the food and drinks on a platter for you, how's that sound? Just be sure to bring it back before your next match!" She was quick to do exactly that, three paper wrapped sandwiches of decent size and a steaming bowl of thick stew along with four commemorative mugs filled to the brim with milk were all slid across the counter to him on a large platter, along well as four javelins in a narrow quiver for them with adjustable shoulder holster. "Have a nice day, and good luck in your matches!" the attendant said, and then left Kherem to carry the meal over to where he saw Oormi and Melissa speaking in a cozy alcove with a number of plush chairs set aside for gladiators waiting for their chance to fight.

Re: This is a Great Plan (Smokefish, Host, Hentaispider, and Hafnium)

Kherem, once finishing the transaction, would first put on the quiver of javelins, making sure they were readily available and firmly held to him, and then took up the platter, offering the shopkeep a grateful smile before walking off to where Melissa and Oormi were seated.

Once joining the other half of the party, he'd be blissfully oblivious to the topic that had been brought up by Melissa. "I brought us some food and drink!", he'd put the platter down, and look around the alcove for Lumi, but wouldn't linger on it. He'd help himself to his bowl and a mug of milk, and take a seat next to Melissa if it meant leaving the spot next to Oormi open for Lumi. If such an opportunity was not presented, he'd just seat himself anywhere, as long as it wouldn't hinder Lumi from having a seat herself.

"I apologize for only bringing you sandwiches, and myself some stew, but I was uncertain of what kind of foods you eat or don't eat. If we get through the rest of the fights, I'll pay for the food and drink to celebrate our victory."

Re: This is a Great Plan (Smokefish, Host, Hentaispider, and Hafnium)

The blind foxgirl visibly perked up as Melissa asked that fateful question. There was no going back or stopping the exposition that was to follow short of violence. The kitsune's mouth was off and running before her brain could catch up and stop herself. "You're interested? Really?" It was apparently not a question that required an answer, as she continued without pause. "Well, let me start near the beginning..."

It might have been as good a time as any to feel regret, if that particular emotion was going to come up.

(Spoiler'd for paragraphs of dialogue exposition.)

"I was never very talented at use of innate energy. My sister enjoyed magic and my father was naturally gifted with powers, but neither calling was for me. I always preferred my mother's path: the one of swordsmanship. When I went blind, I lost that. The faeries, my sister, my father, none of them could heal my eyes. It was an unnatural malady they said, and that they had never seen a natural disease or injury leave a person as such.

It was a dark time, but it eventually came to an end. My sister was trying to teach me some magic -- she hoped that it might fill the void that had been left by my inability to learn the sword -- there was an... accident. When I came to, I could visualize an array of colors in my mind. It felt much like a blanket. After much experimentation I determined that I could control them with my will. Far from an imaginary thing, I could cause them to emanate from my body and bathe the people and objects around me in color, so that I could see again. There are still dark spots, but the better I get at focusing, the smaller they become. For the effect they make, I began to call them waves.

The waves are something of an in-between of spirit wielding and magic, as I later determined. Beyond being simply able to see, I can empower myself, I can control the elements to a minor extent, and any other number of similar tricks. Unlike standard magic, controlling the waves has required no hand signs, incantations, focuses, training, or other similar methods of casting spells. But unlike powers, thus far waves have drawn on small portions of my energy to efficiently control the more traditional elements of magic. There are, of course, drawbacks to match.

The faerie sorceresses I asked about the subject told me that, in their opinion, I was simply learning of latent magical skill. They likened it to a person whose mind processes the words of a book backwards finding a workaround in order to read. I don't necessarily agree with it, but whatever the case, I wouldn't give up my waves for anything else. They're the only reason I am able to pick up a sword again, and fight alongside people like you, Lumi, and Master Kherem.
"

The lengthy explanation finally ended, hopefully with few casualties, at which point Oormi was offered an answer to her own question. It visibly surprised her.

It wasn't the matter of Melissa not being romantically involved with Kherem. The evidence against that had been stacking pretty high, which was why she had asked in the first place--although she believed they made a cute couple. The bluntness of it all was what had shocked the foxgirl. Beyond that, she wasn't sure how to quantify the knowledge granted to her by the other woman. Was the tall kitsune a creeper, then? Maybe she needed to worry about him trying to do weird things around her. It certainly felt like a common theme in Acheron and there was no being too careful; she was saving herself for marriage, after all!

The only polite answer that came to mind was to suggest aloud that she thought the two made a cute couple, but before she could do so Kherem had seated himself with the food and drink. The short kitsune took the sandwich and mug that was apparently hers and set them in front of herself. "I've yet to meet a person offended by the warm offer of a meal. Thank you, Master Kherem. I don't think I've eaten since I arrived in Acheron." Her gratitude, at least, was genuine. It didn't stop her from taking a subtle sniff of the milk before she sipped from it, though. The sandwich went untouched for the time being as well. "I will wait until Miss Lumi returns to begin my meal. It feels impolite to eat without her."

Re: This is a Great Plan (Smokefish, Host, Hentaispider, and Hafnium)

Soon after Kherem takes his seat and offers food to the others, Lumi slips into the alcove, taking a seat next to Oormi. "Hello again" The white-haired kitsune's ears are twitching, and her long and fluffy tail is fully visible, unlike before.

Re: This is a Great Plan (Smokefish, Host, Hentaispider, and Hafnium)

Melissa suffered the results of her curiosity with glazed eyes, hearing about half of the tale and understanding even less. “…So you can magic-see?” the human finally summed up, a moment after the kitsune finished, wondering why Oormi couldn't have simply used the same words. “I didn’t know magic could do that. Then again, I’ve never met any blind mages before.”

“Ah, thanks.” Melissa simply replied when the food arrived with Kherem, taking her share and sitting back down. Rather than eat it, she took a long look into the milk and set it down beside her (not reassuring Oormi in the least). She had to find some way of evening the odds in her favour… but managing to loot from demons, and then poison another bunch as well, both in the same area – that wasn’t a one woman job. Maybe if she got the poison, then put it in the milk and offered it as a goodwill gesture – no, that was the kind of dumbass plan Ros would come up with. Daemons, why did she have to be the one to come up with the heist plans? Even with her sisters, Lor would never help…

Melissa smiled slightly, turning her head to see memories of people not present. Given the risk of throwing the whole contest, she was close to giving up and just leaving things be. The only way to pull something like this off would be to be invisible…

…Ah…

“Lumi, come with me!” with an exceptional lack of subtlety, she took Lumi’s hand and attempted to get her to follow. “I need to talk with you for a minute!” While Melissa herself expected the Kitsune to come without contest, the reality likely was quite the opposite. If Lumi pulled herself away or protested, the human would stop to say, “Look, it’s nothing funny, I promise. I just want to talk to you privately for a minute.” Whether or not that actually helped her case, however…

The white-haired kitsune looks at Melissa surprised, but after a moment snatches the remaining sandwich and follows the human without a protest.

When the pair was well away from the others, Lumi stops on her tracks. Pulling her hand away from Melissa, she crosses her arms, the sandwich still in hand. "What do you want?" the skinny kitsune says in annoyed tone, looking Melissa into the eyes challengingly - for her, anyway, as she isn't used to being in any sort of position of authority.

Kherem smiled softly as the offered food and drink was well recieved, not even taking note of the cautious side of the reception. "You're welcome, Lady Oormi, as are Melissa and Lady Lumi.". For a short time, he would simply savor the bowl of stew, finding the flavor enjoyable despite there seemingly being something a little... off... with it. As Melissa had another impulsive moment, Kherem stopped his feasting, looking up at the human with stern eyes, and opened his mouth as if fully intending to once more lecture her. He closed his mouth, and let out a sigh as Lumi allowed herself to be dragged along. He called out after the two as they headed away from the alcove. "Melissa, don't get us into trouble, and Lady Lumi? Please see to it that she doesn't.", and with that said, he slouched in his seat, slowly shaking his head as he returned to his stew.

Melissa and Lumi being off doing who-knows-what gave Kherem a small feeling of dread, and a need to occupy his mind with other things was quickly growing. He turned his eyes to Oormi, and recalled something that had been mentioned during her introduction. "If I may be so bold to ask, you were trained by the Fey, correct? I'd like to know more if you wouldn't mind indulging me. Well, more about both you and the Fey that is.", Kherems tone of voice was one of two-fold curiosity, eager to learn more about the Kitsune herself, and of the Fey she had been trained by, although he didn't show much interest in training itself.
