Rikke would ignore Yoldras comment for the most part, but still give her a mental frown. Hopefully the demoness would stay true to her oath of alliegence, otherwise the Master would know each and each move she made "Yeah.. I guess losing your friends took too much out of her." keeping the hushed tone, Rikke would only share the one sentence, not to make it seem like the duo were up to something.

"Say Yenna. Do you recognize that blade on your hips? We found it near you, so we assumed its yours." Rikke looked back and backpedaled playfully. The path ahead was straight so there was no worry about it.

"Yeah it was given to me by Brenda when I joined the Lance. She had it made for me with help from the others. Its really really nice but they spent way to much money on it." Yenna frowned but smiled holding the blade before letting it rest in its scabbard again. "So your friend your here to rescue who is it?"

"Ah~ Are those power runes or runes with real meaning?" Rikke smiled at her "I got curious and looked it over, it truly is an exceptional blade." the rogue smiled earnestly, placing a hand on Beauties pommel. Even if her blade may seemed weaker, she could hardly ever leave it now.

"m? Oh... she's a very dear friend." Rikke glanced down with a hint of sadness "She was taken away from me during our vacation." she'd sigh nostalgically and glance to the mirror near her. Perhaps it was best Yenna would not receive reminders of her duty with the sisters for now, even if it meant keeping Jess hidden.

"We should be coming up the entrance to the desert shortly." Rikke looked around the area and smirked teasingly at Janet "This is where a certain knight got stung and almost got naughty."

"Humm oh they are celistal writings. They say to our dearst friend my this blade serve you well and always guard you and serve you well." Nodding at the information Yenna got quiet again and Rikke could see the feathers darken more. Meanwhile Janet blushed at Rikke's comment. "I couldn't help it! How was I supposed to know that those things do that to people." A little while later after haveing to cross a recently formed pound the trio saw the entrance to the desert. Yellow sand clung around the doorway to stais that lead down. Yenna examined the door and walked behind it. "Wow thats some serious magic going on there."

"Mhm~" Rikke smiled at the angel warmly "From what I understand the next floor will be much more dangerous as well." the rogue looked to the endless sands around them and touched her necklace 'Joldra, I'm going to need a bit of directions here. We've just entered the desert where we heading next?'

"Janet, do we have something to block the sun?" Rikke looked back to her knight as she awaited Joldras answer.

'Once you enter the desert make due east from the door as best as you can tell any way. The next entrance is going to be a cave in a cliff face.' Janet looked over her supplies and shrugged. Besides their own kit they only had blankets to cover up with. Heading down the sandy stair Rikke and crew soon found themselfs staring at a bright sun deciding behind them. Bleached bones rested near the entrace. "Ohh this place is..... harsh." Yenna held her head a moment as her hair turned completely blakc once more. Still her wings still had some white left in them and her eyes still had traces of blue left. Janet thumbed her water flask and sighed. No doubt she wanted to keep good Yenna around a bit longer.

With the blankets in hand each girl would use the cloth to cover their skin from the blazing sun, it wasn't much but hopefully it would be enough. Still the journey was far shorter than expected and soon enough they'd reach the mentioned entrance.

Rikke looked back to angel and stopped their travel, soon the holy waters effect would cease "Hey let's pause for a bit, 'kay Yenna?" the rogue smiled kindly to the failing angel and turned to Janet who kept her flask close "We can't prolong it, Jen. You know that." her voice carrying a clear sadness "Go on, this may be the last time we see her like this. If you want to say something as she is now, do it now." with a encouraging smile she'd step back and let Janet approach first, before she herself would approach the angelic Yenna herself.

Janet nodded and sighed. Moving over she gave Yenna a hug. "It was nice to meet you Yenna. I wish we had gotten a chance to visit longer." Yenna accepted the hug a little reluctantly clearly confused. "Uhh okay Janet.. are you alright?" Yenna looked to Rikke as Janet broke her embrace and headed to inspect the cave. Looking over at Rikke Yenna's eyebrow was raised. "Is Janet not feeling well ya know not right in the head?"

Rikke looked down sadly and then to Yenna breaking a smile "No, Janets fine." the rogue paused thinking her words over "Yenna, the truth is. You came to be here, after a fallen angel drank holy water." she looked to the girl "You are that fallen angels kinder, innocent or just good sides manifestation." unless Yenna was violently freaking out Rikke would take the girls hands in her own and step closer "Don't be affraid, the angel is alright. She's fallen to dark times, but if you're here it means she still has her purity of old. Even if it's been locked and closed off."

Yenna laughed a short laugh. "Oh your a funny one..." Even Rikke could tell that the laugh was kinda forced. It stopped sortly after as it seemed to dawn on her. "Your not jokeing...... are you." Seemingly getting weak in the knees Yenna fell to the ground. "I-I knew something was wrong I-I could feel it." She started sobbing slightly. "I don't want to go back......." Rikke could feel her shake slightly as the sobbing got harder. "Just tell me they are all right.. my friends... are they alright." Rikke moved in to comfort the angel. She didn't have the answer though the other Yenna might. After a moment the sobbing stopped and a rather annoyed voice spoke up. "What are you doing Rikke?" Backign off Rikke could see Yenna's eyes had returned to normal or at lest normal as Rikke had ever known them. Red with black streaks glared hatefully back at her. "We've no time for this foolishness. And by the hells how did we get here already!"

Just as the tears began to roll Rikke would fall right next to her and gently place a hand on her cheek "Hey! This isn't goodbye. We'll be seeing each other every day for quite some time." the rogue smiled warmly to her in an absolutely earnest way "Yen, if you don't abandon us for the dark, we won't abandon you." speaking in a soft tone Rikke would latch their pinkies together just as if they were little "It's a promise." the heroine smiled kindly just as slowly the holy waters effects faded away completely.

Rikke would be looking down sadly on her knees next to Yenna when she came to "Looking over if you came to." while still sad Rikke forced out a porcelain smile, before quickly getting up and looking away "Well we had to carry your angelic butt all the way out here."

Getting up Yenna brushed her butt off. "I suppose I should thank you for not leaving me in that swamp. Thanks... Now this way." Yenna would walk off towards the way slapping Janet on the butt as she passed and laughing as she did so. "And don't touch me again with out permision cow!" Her voice echoed down as Janet rubbed her tush.... "Well shes back... "

Oddly enough as Rikke approached Janet, she had her genuine smile back "She thanked us." the rogue looked to her knight as if hinting at a hopeful change in Yenna "Who knows, miracles happen." she'd wink slyly to Janet and grab her own travelling.

"Yenna, wait up. There's no rush. I'd rather risk sand than bug bites in that swamp." with that the trio could continue, thankfully seemed the desert spared them most of its trials "So~ Whats the plan right, guide?".

Heading in Rikke's night eyes kicked in. The whole cave was dark with a steady dripping from above. The cave slopped gently down for now andi for the most part was clear of obsticles. Janet meanwhile had to follow Rikke closely. "Humm the cave has shifted... dammit. No wonder ther havn't been any attacks lately." Catching up with Yenna Rikke saw that a massive cave in had blocked the primary path but left two open. One on the left and one on the right. "Which way Rikke....."

Perhaps Rikke and Yenna had little trouble with the dark, but Janet was a different case "Hey Jan, gimme your hand 'kay?" the rogue smiled as they descended into the dark and would lead Janet along into the depths of the cave.

"Shifted? But if we're not in the swamps by the time the attack starts the distraction will be for naught." Rikke spoke with clear worry about the sudden change. Still when it came to the choice... if both pathways were absolutely identical without any hints of light or wind coming from one more than the other, at a wild guess Rikke would choose "Left. Let's head left."

Rikke's night vision while letting her see unhidered in the dark was not much for detail. To her each path looked similar. To wind stirred the air and no light burned at the end of either. Though cocking her ear Rikke thought she heard water to the left. Heading that way she lead her intrepid group down the path. Hear the path got steadly steeper making it more diffcult to move slowing their pace quite a bit. "Rikke this is getting a little steep we shou.. EEEK!" Suddenly Janet was gone from RIkke's hand. Seeing Janet slip down a rather slick set of rocks Rikke reached out only to lose her own balance and go down too. "RIKKE!"

Looking ahead as she slid Rikke saw sparks as Janet's armor grinded against stone which was getting increasingly wet. Her own armor being made of more natural material slid with ease from the steep incline and now almost small stream she found herself in. Thankfully she could see ahead and dodge oncomming rocks Janet however was not so lucky.

"Yenna help Janet!!" Rikke commanded with all her might, she herself quickly uncoiling the rope from around her shoulder and quickly weaved a noose. Looking to throw it around a peak of a rock or outing.

Each character (npc or player) is sliding down a very steep slick rock face. There will be obsticles in the way. Each character will have attempts to arrest their slide each round. As they slide the diffculty will go up for each failure as they build up speed. Each character will need to make body checks to stop their slide. Obsticles will make unarmed attack rolls to hit character dodges. Dodging will avoid damage. Getting hit will damage a character but will slow them down. As character slide they obsticles will pick up stength capping at body 60 and starting at body 40. A character needs four successes to stop their slide.

Rikke got her rope ready in a feat of dexterous effort and quickly snagged a rock slowing her down. Unfortantly as the rope went taunt it swung her right into a rock. Feeling the hit Rikke held on but continued to slide as the rope slipped of the slick rocks. Nearby Janet continued to slide her armor sparking off below Rikke. Thankfully the glint of the sparks revealed a rock and Rikke's knight managed to slide to her side and avoid it. Slowing her decent as she reached out for the rock she managed to nab it slowing her decent before the slick rock gave way. Meanwhile Yenna had her own hands full as she dove after Janet as the confines of this cave limited her moblity sevearly. Several time she had to dodge out of the way of the rocks picking up speed and increaseing the danger all the more.

While her initial throw was a success the rope swung the rogue in a arch and into another stone, the impact knocking the noose loose once more! The rogue winced in pain, but quickly got to attempting her action once more!

Still whether she liked it or not, she was slowly picking up speed making the obstacles up ahead all the more menacing! "Darn it! Come on!" her heart racing, just like in her fight against Yoldra and Reggie, Rikkes movements became far more swifter and agile.

The rope was wet in her hands as Rikke slid down the ever increasing slope. Up ahead she saw Janet rebound of a rock that scent her spinning but the blow seemed to mostly hit her armor as the knight managed to scramble andseemingly slow herself some more. However Rikke was in far more danger than she thought. Coming towards her was a nasty forked looking rock. Scrambling aginst rock desperately Rikke managed to avoid the impact and slip her rope over a fork in the stone. Jerking to a stop she smiled only to hear the stone crack and then give way sending her sliding agian. Up in the air Yenna's speed was making it harder to dodge obsticles at this rate she would probably get hit if she didn't slow herself down. Still she was making good time as she was nearly ontop of Janet.
