"Drinking alone?" Rikke would approach from the side that didn't have the shots lined up and sad down nearby "Sorry for the odd introduction earlier." the rogue smiled politely to the 'knight' "The name's Rikke, I'm here with Rhea and Rune. Sort of... egg tending duties."

This place certainly felt more a kin to the Crolia of old. The tables and bartop were all made of plain wood, even the music seemingly playing along a calm and simple tune.

"Ahh Ms. Mystery" Janet toasted her with another shot glass that didn't have any writing on it. "Cowgirl is tending to Amazon as she recovers." Downing the drink she swiveled to meet her head on. It seemed that Janet was drunk, at least that the impression that Rikke got. Glazed eyes an flushed cheeks a slight waver in her position. "So what do I owe the honor. She smiled a strong smell of booze on her breath. Hearing Rikke out the woman nodded. "Ahh the egg. I wish I knew what was so important about it."

"Let me join you for a few shots and I'll tell you." Rikke winked slyly and ordered a fairly light cocktail "Heading out so I can't really hit the drinks too much." she'd smile confidently to Janet.

"How about i start with... the egg was what saved Cassandra." Rikke smiled "Didn't the medics mention that she suddenly had a... I'm going to guess but a Miraculous recovery'. Likely shortly after out little meeting." ofcourse the rogue didn't expect Janet to suddenly convert just from that "But speaking of 'magic', there's something I'd like you to see." Rikke smiled to her "Mind following me for just a moment. You can get back to your drinks right after. I'll even buy your tab." the girl looked to Janet in an almost daring fashion, whatever it was the rogues tone hinted that it would indeed be quite a sight... or event.

"Heh magic my ass. Don't tell me you believe those poppy cock stories that those fools at the acadamy say." Janet emptied her shot and sat up a little. The woman looked to her and nodded. "I hope you got a fat wallet my tab is huge." Getting up with a little stumble she made her way out with Rikke wobbling slightly. "So what you want to show me?"

Rikke kept a knowing smile at the disbelief in magic, while this world hadn't seen in ages... things were going to change "Surprisingly I do actually believe it." she'd laugh lightly "Though probably not the stories in the academy."

Looking around for any stray gazes Rikke smiled to Janet and placed her hand on Janets old blades pommel "This a very special gift. It may seem an odd request, but perhaps you could tell me what you make of it?" the rogue stepped back and quickly unsheathed the blade. The draws speed instantly revealing the girl wasn't just some sort of researcher or tale-teller.

Giving the blade a few quick test slashes the rogue turned to Janet and offered her the magical sword. At that moment Rikke didn't know what to expect at such a reunion, perhaps absolutely nothing will happen... perhaps something most impressive will take place. Either way, her suspicions would be cleared once Janet held her old sword once again.

Janet eyed the blade as Rikke gave it a couple test swings. "You're pretty handy with that." Still when it was offered up for her to handle the weapon she hesitated a moment. Taking the blade she hefted it and tested its weight. "Humm not as heavy as I thought and its got good balance. Giving it a few slashes she tested it out. Nothing seemed to happen to alert Janet that this was her blade once. However for Rikke things seemed different; energy seemed to flow the blade to Janet and from Janet to the blade. Maybe it was her contact with the weapon, her quasi succubus nature, or the simple fact that in this magic deprived world she seemed far more attuned to it. There was no physical effect see no sudden gasp of surprise and soon enough Janet handed the blade back to her. "It has good weight and is comfortable in the hand. A little big for a personal weapon and far to small to be of use in my armor."

"It's your families heirloom blade." Rikke didn't take the blade back yet "Your ancestor used to wield it in battle alongside the Heroine of the Black War." while the connection was there, the ancient artifacts seemed to spur flashbacks of their past only for Rikke. Perhaps a bit more knowledge about it would ignite some interest in the warrior.

"It's said the blade was magical, that it could shift form from a heavy two hander to much lighter versions of itself." Rikke looked if her short recollection of the blade had any effect on the knight, though whatever the case may be she'd quickly add "But that's just silly stories I guess." she'd smile casually and look over the artifcat in Janets hands once more.

"The blade is very important for me. Could you keep it safe until I need it?" the rogue wasn't a dual wielder, carrying around both her and Janets blades seemed to only draw attention. Honestly out of anyone who could actively guard the blade Janet was her prime choice... unless this Janet felt no attachment to the blade in hand.

Janet Raised an eyebrow at Rikke. "My ancestors blade?" She looked at it in new light but other than that nothing else seemed to happen. Hearing the stories didn't seem to trigger any sudden flashes or anything. "Wait what? You want me to hold onto this? We just met Ms. Mystery. How do I know you didn't steal it or something." Janet looked at Rikke her face taking on a very skeptical look. Handing the blade over Janet let Rikke take a hold of it though her grip seemed to linger on it before she finally let go seemingly surprised herself.

"Technically I did." Rikke smiled brazenly "But Saul, Ven and even Degravil gave both of these blades to me." the rogue looked to Janets sword and then to Beauty, both bearing clearly distinguished appearance "Afterall, atleast one of these is mine to begin with."

Unfortunately, whatever Yuna had in mind when speaking about Janet, just didn't make an appearance "Are you sure? I think the blade would be happiest in your hands." she'd smile kindly to her 'Though if you're not up to handle it, I'll take it back. Guess I'll guard it myself." if given the blade Rikke would return it to her side, for the time being it would act as sorts of a backup weapon for her.

Still if there was nothing else Rikke would just turn to leave "Stay safe, Janet." she had a ride to catch.

Janet looked Rikke over and sighed. "You're not gonna pay my tab are you?" Janet put a hand on her hip and shook her head at the rapidly departing rogue. "Your a strange one Ms. Mystery don't die." With that Janet went back into the bar.

Rikke quickly headed into the hanger and met up with Rhea and Rune. One of the giant Virtels as Rune called them was humming with a large hatch down and a carriage tucked into the small bay. It was different than the ones she had seen it was large and bulky with huge tires. The girls were dressed in casual clothes with pistols at their side easily concealed by jackets. Looking up Rhea smiled at her. "Ahh Rikke just in time. We narrowed it down to a small antique district in a small town. Should be no trouble to get.... well once we find it. We have no idea what it is so keep your eyes sharp. Any questions before we go?"

"Well hey, had to get you out of there some way." Rikke winked slyly to the girl "If I said it was just to hold an ancient sword, you'd have never left." just as the rogue began to depart she paused briefly "And the name's Rikke." with a final smile their goodbye concluded.

"What to do if your flying contraption decides to comply with gravity?" she'd ask in a clearly joking manner, though such info may actually end up quite useful! Still, looking at Rune and Rhea the rogue didn't quite fit with the casual look... her quite eyecatching leather armor hardly a replacement for a plain jacket. "We got time for me to change? I've been getting some odd looks."

Unfortunately the rogue didn't bring any of her clothes to the remote locale "Or we'll be fine. Let's go." she'd nod firmly, unless a sudden offer came up.

Rune looked up and thought a moment. "I guess you kiss your ass goodbye." Then she smiled clearly joking.. maybe. Rhea meanwhile looked Rikke over. "Yeah you do kinda stand out. I think I have an extra jacket and I'll send someone to get your cloths. Oh that reminds me I have your bunk set up. Space is a premium so you have to share. We can talk about that later though board the bessy there and we'll head out as soon as I get you a jacket. Boarding the craft she found Samantha in similar cloths to the girls though she wore sunglasses and rested back almost snoozing. Soon the other two boarded with Saul bringing Rikke a jacket to wear over her armor if she wanted.

Soon enough the craft lurched as they took off the optical camo kicking in making the craft nigh invisible to the naked eye. After a rather quick flight about forty minutes they landed in an empty field near a small quaint town with Sam heading back to the cargo area. "Okay I brought some money incase we need to buy the item after all we won't be stealing anything from our own citizens." He gave a pointed look to Rikke as they assembled outside the craft. A moment later a load engine roar could be heard as Sam pulled a recon jeep from the back cargo area. It was far louder than the other carriages and a small plume of smoke came from the rear. It was black in color open topped with over large tires. Looking at the strange carriage Saul mounted up using a small step to get into the machine with Rhea and Rune following. Last was Rikke and as soon as she was seated Sam smiled and called out. "Hold onto your butts!" Pressing down on something the carriage roared to life and sped away and a blistering speed far faster than any horse Rikke ever ridden. Wind whipping her hair back and forth the other girls seemed to enjoy the sudden burst of speed with Saul looking a little green. Soon enough though they slowed as they entered the small town.

It was quite a small sign reading Welcome to Small Fruit featured prominently as they entered. A few people gave them looks but went about their business while Rune pulled up her display and looked it over giving directions to Sam.

Wait a minute... as Rikke joined in on the much more empowered carriage she'd finally recognise the driver. Samantha...or Sam the Genderbender? Why was he a full female here?! Still Rikke had little time to think about that as with a loud road the 'car' bursted to life rapidly gaining speed to a very dangerous degree!

This was the rogues first time in such a device, though the burst of speed while uncomfortable at first with both Rune and Rhea cheering their driver on, soon enough the rogue enjoyed the wind blasting her hair back as well!

Soon enough they'd arrive to what was likely their goal. The small town definedly beared tell-tale signs of this realm "Alright, let's get this done quickly and effectively." the rogue smiled to her company "Let's spread out and ask if there was anything wierd going on. If all the artifacts are similar to the blade, it had to stir up some trouble."

Saul still looked a little green and offered to watch the car a moment while the girls paired off to look. After all Rikke needed a translator and she had her pick between Rhea, Rune, and Sam. Picking whomever she wanted Rikke would head out. Asking a few townsfolk netted little in regards to bizarre events or happenings but it did let Rikke see several businesses. A jewelry store sat on one corner with heavy thick glass showing off wares while another was something called a dinner. Food smells wafted from that place tantalizing her mouth. Another was a florist but it was closed for the day. A small clothing store sat next to a antique store which stood across and old worn looking shoe store.

"Rhea you'll be with me, alright?" Rikke smiled kindly "Incase I start talking about non-existant things or something." not to mention Rhea could help her with an good guard, bad guard routine... if need be.

Still after a brief chit chat with the locals it seemed noone really could point out anything particulary out of norm.... except the one woman complaining about her daughters--- Rikke sighed deeply "It's never easy is it. Let's go check in with the others near the 'car'"

If the whole groups attempts yielded little result it was time for plan B - to ask about any shrines or historical landmarks near the small settlement. Something had to stick...

Meeting up with everyone turned up very little. Rune frowned at her display as she touched the small buttons. "Its here we just need to get close." Sam kicked up her shades as she leaned against the recon buggy. "Well its old why not check that antique store over there." Sam pointed to the store Rikke had passed by. It looked open and at the moment they had little else to go on.

"Well I was gonna suggest we look for a shrine..." the rogue looked to the shop in question "But this might be worth a try." this wasn't her fantastical world of magic, perhaps aquiring these objects would be a far less... exciting ordeal than ti would be in her time "Come on."

Not everyone had to come, but Rikke wouldn't decline the company.

Rune would come along muttering something about her detector finding it if it was there. Sam opted to grab some lunch for everyone at the diner and got everyone's order before taking off. Saul Waved the girls off while focusing on a call he had gotten. This left Rhea, Rikke, and Rune to enter the shop. On the outside it looked well kept and neat but once inside all manner of stuff sat some what organized in the cramped interior. A sign hanging over the counter said a Treasure of every age! Behind the counter sat a bent and frail looking woman doing a crossword puzzle. Barely noting the trio she only glanced up briefly before pointing to a sign that stated you break it you buy it.

"Guess well have to help ourselves." Rhea smiled and went one way around the shop while Rune went the other leaving Rikke the middle. Besides the counter and the old woman the only thing of note was the display case of antique jewelry. Of note was a small silver succubus statue holding a deep red ruby. The rest where pretty or out right gaudy but that one caught Rikke's eye.

Hidden among the gaudy vases, that would be consdiered gaudy even way back in her times, a small little display of jewelry caught the rogues eye... or well one specific piece.

"Hum..." Rikke approached the silver statue and looked over it "Excuse me, can you open this case? I'd like to inspect some of the jewelry in here." the heroine called to the shopkeeper. There was something about this item that caught the rogues attention, perhaps a closer inspection would reveal more.

Looking up at Rikke the woman shifted her glasses before hobbling over to the case. "Are you sure you can afford this missy? You look kinda like a vagrant." Still the woman waited for Rikke to point out the necklace before retrieving it from the case. "Oh this one is a pretty piece. Found it years ago while hiking at an old ruin. Very rare indeed the statue itself is made of platinum and nearly perfectly carved. The gem is a high grade blood ruby." Still the woman held it tightly not letting Rikke touch it.
