Rikke snickered lightly "I'm sure the healers can fix it up." heck if Rhea was taking it lightly, there was no reason for the rogue to turn gloomy... "A shadow? You mean like an assassin or...?" the heroine listened out to some of the details of the encounter while sheathin Janets blade for now... though the explanation was more likely significantly more magical than one may suspect "I don't understand, you two said magic is dead in this realm. This huge Zero event wiped it out, but first I meet Vampires, then I see Ella floating mid-air... now this."

Rikke would cast a glance to Jessica dome in thought... perhaps whatever Jess was doing began to take root? Though a few moments later a realisation hit her full-force "WAIT! Is Jessica alright?! Who's guarding the dome?!"

"Yeah some creature made of shadow it was really creepy. Looking at it was like staring into the void." Rhea shuttered a little. "Rikke..." Saul let out a very long sigh "Ive all ready told you that magic has been making its way back into the world. Thats why we have mana scanners and such now. And who is El....." he didn't even get to finish before Rikke blurted out her concern. "Knight and Cowgirl should have been on duty. Are they okay!?" This time Rhea sounded worried.

"Janet is taking care of Mary. She was injured in the battle." Rikke quickly ran to a nearby window, if there even were any, looking towards the Dome "How's the situation up here? I need to check on Jess as soon as I can."

While Rikke didn't know the reason for the attack, the outposts only noteworthy treasure... was Jessica.

"Right! Lets go ya going to be okay in here Saul?" The man still at his keyboard waved them off his consternation focused on his task. "Ill seal the door after you go but from the scanner we are probably in the clear." Gathering her weapon Rhea opened the door and checked it before heading into the hallway with Rikke close behind. Navigating their way threw the halls Rikke saw medics tending to wounded while a few wargs took several prisoners away from the location at gunpoint. Heading down the stairs they met up with Venise who was getting her arm checked out by another medic. Nodding as they passed the girl got up much to the protest of the medic. Still none of them would be stopped as they made their way out of the command center and into the bright light. For a moment Rhea stared at the tank its smoking hulk adding a grim air to the area before turning to the location of the dome.

Heading in that direction Rikke could see Ann already directing crews to the fallen armor as other soldiers began to clear the dead away. Chu the ever present scavenger was already picking over the Vital that had crashed in the compound though after removing a panel he stopped and stared at a limp figure before scuttling off to Sophia and hiding under her massive hull. Apparently even the repair droid knew a grave when he saw it. Stepping into the dome Rikke saw at lest four piles of ash and melted armor. Apparently Jessica was able to defend herself.

Although Rikke wasn't sure about Rheas choice to accompany her, Sauls words quickly reassured... not to mention she couldn't exactly command Rhea what to do "Alright let's go!" As the heroine dashed back to their makeshift outpost, some cheers could be heard from the hallway where the soldiers had their stalemate. Seemed in the end they managed to finally break the final of the demonic forces.

With an encounraging smile she'd continue her dash and slide down the stairs, moving onwards at immense speed. As brutal as the attack was, it seemed to have been a failure...

Rikke wouldn't even need to debrief Venise at her success all too clear as the rogue neared Rhea was close behind her "We're heading to check in with the domes defenses!" the heroine would add a short quip as she passed by... the main buildings seemed to be theirs.

Rheas brief pause wouldn't be seen as Rikke continued her mad dash, her eyes scanning the battlefield not noting any hints of enemy movement nor any suspicious sounds. Though in the courtyard among the flames and debris the cost of the conflict became far clearer... bloody smears and unexploded shells litered the ground, the beautiful pathways through the base now lied crumbled, burnt or bloodied all together.

"Please be alright Jes..." heck if something happened to her lover, would they even be able to finish their initial plan?! Still as Rikke neared the dome a encouraging sight came into view, a few good dozen of the attackers lied near the domes entrance. Now nothing more than ash and burnt steel.

Rikke smirked slyly at the sight "Someones been practicing their pyromancy..." with renewed faith and a hopeful smile the heroine neared the dome and attempted to enter it. Keeping her eyes and ears sharp for any hints of foreign entities.

Entering the dome Rikke found it as peaceful as ever though all the birds and other animals had fled her hid once the fighting had started. Seemed none of the enemy had made it inside. Heading for the egg itself Rikke saw that its glow was much diminished. Nearby sat Yuni sweating. "Hey Mom that was quite the fight am I right." Groaning she tried to stand but looked utterly exhausted her image fading fast. "That took alot of power to fend them off.. I don't think I can hold the manifestation. I..." Like that Yuni faded away her power expended. Even Jess seemed to have tired herself out her glow was dim and it made it hard to pick her out of the background but all seemed well. Venise and Rhea soon caught up with Rikke. Rhea looked around and frowned while Ven took it in. "Wow this place is... so full of life I can almost feel the magic."

"Yunie!" Rikke smiled brightly, though by the time she'd reach Yuna the girls image had already dispersed... "...thanks." the heroine smiled sadly, before looking around. Seemed the duo managed to fend off the attackers, but the price had been supremely high.

Rikke sighed with relief and sat down closing her eyes briefly to allow herself to settle down, even if a little... even if the attack was grievious, she and her crew managed to save quite a few soldiers. Unfortunately the real cost of the conflict would likely be counted later...

Just as she relaxed two familiar figures approached "She seems fine... if a bit tired." Rikke opened her eyes and looked to the egg with a kind smile. While Rhea was a repeat visitor... Venise was a different case entirely "Mhm, just keep your Robo-vil out of here. He'd be fried in a moments notice." Rikke smirked at the likely surprise "You've seen our secret, it's fair you share yours as well, Ven."

Ven looked at Rikke her eyes narrowing a moment before sighing. "How did you find out?" Rhea raised an eyebrow as she looked at Rikke and Ven. Turning to Rhea Ven spoke up. "My Brother is an AI I built. Im really the head of Southern Crolian intelligence." Rhea stood stunned for a moment. "Damn..... well you had me fooled." Relaxing a bit Rhea lowered her guard. "Though tell me why did you make him such an asshole?" Ven shrugged "I'm not sure it just felt right."

At the question Rikke would only playfully stick her tongue out and wink at her, she had her ways... ways best not discussed. Still after the brief confession Rikke wouldn't really play it off as a big deal "No point to lie to your allies, Ven. And I must say your 'brother' is more or less the exact same asshole as from my time." the thought of Ven and Degravil actually being the same person still amused the rogue, perhaps even if it shouldn't.

"Everything seems to be in order. Think everyone could use their leaders back with them." the heroine smiled widely to the duo "I'll stay here for a while alright?"

"Sure thing Rikke though.... you might want to get cleaned up you look.. a little beat." With that Rhea began to lead Ven out though the woman protested quite a bit but eventually she was escorted out leaving Rikke alone with Jessica. Indeed as the duo left Rikke felt the weight of her adventure today, and as the excitement wore off she could feel how sore she really was. No doubt Yunie had something to do with the groups miraculous survival from the crash. It seemed it had pushed her to the brink though and in a world still mostly devoid of magic it had to sting.

"Hum?" Rikke blinked innocently and looked over herself, to say she looked a bit beat up was an understatement. Her previously long sweater was more or less missing with barely a rag wrapped around her upper body, her jeans were completely tore unfit to wear the moment the rogue would take them off, the only upside was that she herself didn't bear any clear substantial damage, but even that was just thanks to Yunas healing.

"Y-yeah..." the heroine blushed cutely as the duo left and fell back into a patch a soft moss... honestly this was likely the bloodiest battle she ever took place in. Even if the Black war bore the title of a war, most of the loses were quickly cut short after Reginalds quick death.

Still if this one really long trip with a particulary bumpy return taught her anything was that she could no longer call this world devoid of magic, magic was there, but it was severely limited "By the way Jess... I actually met some vampires trying to get the artifact... Vampires." she'd giggle looking to the egg "We didn't even see them during our trips in our time." for the time being peace settled in and Rikke likely barely noticing it herself... slipped off into slumber.

Drifting off as the mounting exhaustion took its toll Rikke found her sleep devoid of dreams. Though she did feel the warmth of another. Waking slowly Rikke found herself being covered by a large furry animal with strange spots. The distinct purr of a cat greet her ears as she fully awoke to the large jungle cat laying next to her. Extracting herself from the large predator Rikke found the small area around Jess had returned mostly to normal. Birds and insects buzzed around and Jess's glow had returned to full luster. Feeling a wave of happiness emanate from Jess Rikke saw a path of little white flowers open up and lead off deeper into the dome.

Rikke smiled happily in her sleep, the warm layer of fur on her bed providing just about the perfect comfort. The rogue would happily run her hand along the soft coat... only to note it was suspiciously warm and breathing?! The rogues eyes shot awake as all close to her a huge beast slept!

The heroine would all too slowly and ever so carefully removed herself away from the beast, while it was warm, fuzzy and had a wonderous coat... it was far bigger than the rogue herself! Still her tippy-toe escape successful Rikke could look around dome once more, taking a deep breath the heroine could only smile... it really was like a garden of the gods.

Though the 'godess' of this particular garden seemed to have arranged something special for the rogue "Hum~ You know you need to conserve your energy, silly." with a wide smile and a cheery spark in her eyes the rogue would follow the path wherever it lead.

Following the path Rikke would find it ending in a small glade where a single phallic plant waved in the breeze. Rikke new what it was and her encounter with one in Endus in her time rushed to her memory. What she made of it was her choice however but she could feel Jess urging her to take the offer. Meanwhile the path behind her closed up with vines if only enough to break sight.

Rikke followed the path of flowers walking past all manner of wonderous plants and flowers, up to until she reached one glade in particular. The heroine heard subtle movement of leaves behind her, the path she took seemingly closing behind... infact all around the glave seemed to be protected from outside gaze for some reason. The whole area seemed to be keen to divert the rogues eyes to one particulary special plant...

Rikke puckered her lips as the massive leaves slowly opened up to reveal not just some sort of wonderous flower... but a plant bearing an 'oddly' shaped growth! The girl blushed at the sight and covered her mouth with one hand in seeming surprise... dear gods she even recognised the darn weed! Way back on their first trip into the ruined part of Endus, this plant was the first thing that 'welcomed them'!

Sure unlike the weed from before, this one was seemingly specially grown and fully matured. It's open nature and quite the wonderfully shaped formation all too inviting to the fairly pervy rogue, if only just to inspect up closer.

Rikke gave one more look back, noting the wines close up lightly, before turning the 'flower'... there was no denying the heroine hunger had been tearing at her for a fairly long while now, heck so much infact she almost 'did questionable things' to the demon soldier from before! Gods forbid she had found one willing!

Bitting down on her lower lip the rogue looked over the plants offer, before closing her eyes and smiling "You better not tell this to anyone, Jess." she'd giggle playfully and reach down to her jeans loosening them up, before slipping out of their tight restraints in full. The follow up motions would quickly removed the raggedy sweater as well, throwing it aside to leave the rogue fully in the nude.

To think a day would come where she'd willingly offer herself to a plant. Rikke giggled playfully as she approached the plant, her supreme hips swaying side to side, perhaps just subconsciously, her bust jiggling with every step she took closer to the flower, her eyes wandering over the potential tool soon to be used and abused... at the very least this could prove to be a whole lot of fun.

Feeling the playfulness in the air Rikke new that Jess would probably tease her about it but given that she only could really talk to Yunie and herself, she doubt this little ... diversion would make it to the general public. Free of her rags Rikke approached the shornweed, its blue sap glistening in the sunlight. As Rikke got closer she noticed the weed didn't react as the others had. No sudden puffs of pollen where sent her way and indeed the plant waved only in the wind.

Rikke approached the shornweed with that all too seductive sway in her hips, an all too gleeful and excited spring in her step. Just as she approached the heroine braced to be quickly wrapped and pulled into perverse and all too delightful ride!.... only for nothing to happen?

Rikke slowly opened her eyes and looked to the shorn weed remaining as passive as ever "Eh?" the girls lewd smile would quickly be replaced with slightly annoying expression "Hello?" the rogue placed her hand on her hips and leaned on one foot looking to the plant as if expecting something.

Rikke felt a moment of confusion as Jess seemed puzzled at the situation as well. It was quickly replaced by a wave of embarrassment followed by elation however, and a surge of magical energy ran threw the area. A moment later the weed began to wiggle slightly its planty tendrils reaching out for the girl. Small delicate vines touched her nude skin pulling with what strength the plant could manage. Still while this lesser shornweed was hardly the same thing as Rikke had encountered before it would suite her purpose handily.

"Daw~ You're far from ravenous, aren't you?" Rikke would look to the plants efforts, who right now just seemed just adorable. Corruption had a habbit of altering turning whatever it touches to become both stronger and significantly more agresive.

Smiling confidently Rikke would approach the plant and sit down near it, only offering her feet for the plant to tug and brush against "Hum~ You're going to have to work for it, lil guy." the rogue looked to the efforts in a fairly amused manner, though her eyes would wander over to the more prominent centerpiece the plant offered more and more.

If the Weed makes a move for her treasure, Rikke would move her hand to deny it for now.

While at first its attentions seemed weak and pitiful it soon grew in strength. Well the strength a plant could muster anyway. At lest now she could feel it pulling on her. Watching the phallic head she saw it begin to glisten with its sweet sap. Of course it was as simple minded despite its new found strength and despite its best efforts Rikke fended the flower off from assaulting her treasure. Of course this had the effect of getting some of the sap on her causing her skin to burn with arousal and her cheeks flush.
