hi could use some help been trying to figure out if this game from ALICE SOFT dlsite link here .dlsite.com/pro/work/=/product_id/VJ005979.html is a continuation or expansion to Sengoku Rance link here for anyone who needs it .dlsite.com/pro/work/=/product_id/VJ004938.html. sorry can,t post full links yet just add the www to it, also sorry if this is the wrong place to put this any information would be appreciated since i plan to buy it if it is somehow related.

Rance Quest is the sequel to Sengoku Rance.

Rance Quest is the 8th Rance game. Sengoku Rance is the 7th Rance game (There's is actually more, such as Rance 4.1 and Rance 4.2 while still having Rance 4, plus IF games, but i am just counting based on the number given by AliceSoft).

Rance Quest has an expansion called: Rance Quest Magnum, or otherwise called Magnum. You have to have Rance Quest to download Magnum.
4chan /vg/ threads on Rance series can provide you the game's download links and even partial translation of Rance Quest.

Other news: Ludo, a trip-user on /vg/, is translating Rance 6.

It's 4chan, not 4ch. As far as image boards go: 2ch and 2chan are two different image boards.
Basically, this is a link to a thread posted on the image board. The opening post, posted by OP (Opening Poster), has information you need and basis of started thread discussion. On it, there's a pastebin link:

This link basically just explains bit about Rance series and gives you sources to DL the games and translations. Also news on current translation projects. It is kept up to date.

The thread itself is just a daily discussion on Rance. Once the post limit is reached, 1000 posts being the limit for /vg/ thread, a new thread will be created on a board called /vg/. You can find a new thread by simply browsing /vg/ or using a thread-finder (Mozilla Extension)/neet catalogue (Website for finding newest threads).
Careful browsing the thread though, it might spoil plenty of things from the series. However, it can also provide great insight into Rance lore.
