maybe just use "CTRL+SHIFT+F" and search tru all the scrips at once for "xxx japanese word"....

if its not in the events u'll find it with this in less then a minute.

I can't believe you went and searched scripts one by one...

Yeah I'd forgotten there was a search function but also the issue was I didn't know what the word was, that's the point. In game it was just blank squares and the ONLY trace of the name was in the scripts folder, so I couldn't have searched for it if I'd wanted to.

Why Chiitrans and not TA? Aside from systran...

MeCab support, nicer UI, ability to launch games from it etc.

Take 2 pieces of paper. Mark one. Then randomly take one of the two. If you draw the marked one the answer will be yes!

.... He already said that he doesn't want a deadline because that puts pressure on him.



I'm fine even if this takes another month.

Of course there is always the option to release it incomplete. personally i don't care if there are small parts in japanese.

I asked him about a partial quite a while ago. He'll release a complete patch when he's ready.

It is almost finished yes, I have about 2 maybe 3 H-scenes to go, the issue is I was looking for the final boss dungeon for ages because I couldn't find it, finally found it and it's big!

Luckily there's no scenes, just a few common events and a big long speech.

Still, even after I do all that I have to play test it to make sure there's nothing game breaking in it. I've found a few issues with text boxes not showing for one or two characters, thankfully it seems to be isolated to one character for now so it shouldn't be too hard to fix.

Don't bother trying to do a PERFECT VERSION.

Just release it as a "Beta" when you are finished. After a few weeks someone can gather a list of all mistakes.
After that you can try to do a "finished" version.

You do all this work for nothing! You have no obligation to produce a perfect product. We are grateful even if your translation would be utter shit. It's 100% sure that it's much better than google/Atlas. You PF Translation was awesome if this is the same quality we are all happy.

Well I'm in no way saying it's perfect, some things like the sign in the Blacksmiths shop run off the box and I can't fix it simply because I'd have to edit the scripts and I don't want to do that.

That said, I'd still rather the speech boxes work at least

Well trust me, it won't be too long, I'm sick as a dog right now but it is giving me some time to work on it at least.

Now this is complicated. i have an essay deadline in 3 weeks and i really don't know whether to be happy or scared that its almost done
