It was incredibly misty outside. The spring was right where Suika said it would be, and it had a rather lot of space to it. Various thick rocks stuck out from the spring, and it was difficult to see more than a few feet. The presence of so much fog was strange, but it all seemed to come from the spring, which made little sense as well given the temperature. Regardless, stepping inside, Aiden soon heard familiar voices once he would begin to wash and get comfortable.

"Oh, how lovely and mystical!" Venice's voice was heard.

"It looks so cool!" Maria followed up.

"Last one in is a rotten egg~!" Ryoko shouted playfully.

Various figures, barely seen through the fog, were clearly naked women. It was easy to figure out who was who though. The smaller one, Venice, the tan one, Maria, and the taller, Ryoko. All three came stampeding towards the bath, and before Aiden could react, Maria was jumping in with full force. She came into view, her eyes closed with a huge grin, her legs curled up before she slammed into Aiden's face, ass first, before giving a start and quickly standing up.

"Hey! I hit something!" Maria announced, looking about. Knocked underwater, Aiden was still undetected, but that would likely not last long.

Aiden left his clothes and gear by the side of the spring, but strapped on his dagger. He wanted some small defense, just in case. Wading into the water he swam around a little to build up some heat in his body. Then went to cleaning himself. Sweat and just were rubbed off with his palms. Later he had settled down and relaxed contentedly, cleaning off the accumulation of sexual fluids dried over night with stroking motions over his dick.

That's when the three women showed up. He didn't have time to greet them before Maria came flying at him and her butt smashed into his face. With a shallow splashed he was knocked back and underwater. What would have been a yelp turned to a flurry of bubbles fro beneath the surface of the spring. Aiden didn't think about stealth. "WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING IN THE BATH, TRYING TO GET LUCKY!?" Maria snapped, suddenly moving as if to strangle him, before a chuckling Suika came out from the house.

"I'm the one at fault, Maria. Everyone, could you go along with the plan now?" she announced, before it seemed that both Venice and Ryoko were not surprised to find Aiden in the bath as they suddenly restrained Maria.

"H-hey, what the hell is this!?" Maria exclaimed.

"It is rather clear that you will become a hindrance." Venice announced. "I do recall you alerting the wildlife to our location on purpose, could it be that you wished Aiden to get raped and give up on his task?"

Maria thrashed violently. "No! I wouldn't do that!" she screamed.

"You see, Aiden, Maria is a traitor." Suika announced. "So hatefully she watched you join me in my bedroom, as Venice told me. It's rather clear that your jealousy will cause problems in the future."

Maria reacted rather angrily at that, struggling as both Venice and Ryoko hold her, naked in the bath. "I don't... I don't like him to begin with! He's just a pervert!" she shouted.

"The mamono blood I smell in you does not lie. But I supposed Aiden shall have a say in this as well, since it is clearly he who is the focus of your attention so often." Suika announced.

Aiden raised his hands to ward off Maria's assault as she prepared to strangle him. Then, hearing Suika's voice Aiden narrowed his eyes, trying to focus through the spring's fog. A plan was mentioned, and soon Maria was restrained by her traveling companions. Confusion formed on Aiden's face as Venice talked about Maria alerting mamono to their presence.

"What?"

His brow furrowed. That didn't sound right. Why would Venice have told Suika and not him? Suspicion rose in the young man. There was fog, and he couldn't make their features out clearly. Suika, also, had mentioned her ability to make others do as she pleased. While the others talked Aiden moved to the edge of the spring, when he got there, he claimed he shield and slid it into place, climbing out.

"Wait ... why didn't you tell me about this Venice? You said the Mamono noticed me as they walked by."

Looking in the direction he had heard Suika's voice Aiden moved away from the mist, his right hand raising to beckon the women in the spring to come out.

"Bring Maria out here. I want to look her in the eye."

"... What are you doing, Aiden?" Suika questioned him.

"I didn't want to say anything at first, because her motives were not clear." Venice announced, both her and Ryoko bringing the tan woman out. "Alraune do not gather together so closely, Aiden. When you did not notice that, I knew you would have questioned the validity of me calling Maria a traitor. I waited for proof, and I found it." Venice announced, before she gestured to Suika, who calmly took something out of Aiden's belongings.

It was some kind of small orb, no bigger than a pebble. "It's a lure that drives lesser mamono crazy. And in Maria's belongings, I found more. This one Suika has in her hand is a fresh one Maria planted during the night. Little did she know," Venice grinned. "I don't sleep~"

Growling, her breasts shaking as she struggled, Maria seemed panicked as well as furious. "... You toyed... With my heart..." Maria said, gritting her teeth. "I didn't want to see your ugly, smug face so high and mighty with lecherous mamono fawning all over you! So I wanted you to fail! I did! And I hope you fail! And when the whole town is laughing at you, I hope you come crawling back to my feet, begging to come under my care to escape the ridicule!" Maria snarled hatefully.

Aiden remained silent at Suika's question, and instead studied Maria as she and the other women came into view. No longer shrouded by the mist. Part of him was hoping it was a deception. Sadness fell upon his face as he heard Venice's testimony and Suika's confirmation. The accused's confession darkened the young man's face.

"You wound me Maria."

The young man, the betrayed, looked from Maria to his shield, then Suika. An apology was written on his face even before he spoke.

"I'm sorry Suika. I thought this might be some manipulation to separate me from one of my friends. Forgive me."

Pulling his shield off Aiden tossed it atop the rest of his gear. As he did, dark judgmental eyes came to bear on Maria. His voice had the dooming authoritative air of a magistrate preparing to pass a sentence.

"With an eye witness, evidence, and a confession voiced without coercion there is no question of your guilt. You endangered not only myself, but your fellow travelers and your city's future."

Aiden's eyes passed between Ryoko, Venice, and Suika.

"Does anyone here feel that Maria should not possess the fate she wanted for me: Rape and ridicule until she is humble enough to ask for protection and forgiveness?"

Suika rose to clearly agree, but Venice stood firm, "I firmly disagree, Aiden." Venice stated. Both Ryoko and Suika nodded their heads originally, so it was a two to one vote, three if one were to count Aiden, but Venice stood alone in refusal. "While it is clear that is what Maria intended for you, I believe she should be reeducated so that she becomes something other than an enemy. As it is... I highly doubt she will side with you if she is broken more than she has already broken herself." Standing straight, Venice gave Maria a sudden push, causing her to land on her hands and knees. "As it is... I think she should come to term with her lingering feelings for you."

"Shut up!" Maria shouted. "I don't have feelings for him! Who would!? He passes through women like every breath he takes!"

Venice knelt down near Maria. "As even Suika observed, you're simply jealous. Aiden, offer her a chance," Venice said strictly. "She's an angry fool, but she's not hopeless. Offer her the chance to be with you, and learn to share. That's what this petty issue boils down to. She's greedy. And if she refuses, you can do whatever you want, but I won't stand for such unforgiving punishment."

Aiden's mind wasn't so set that he didn't listen when Venice spoke up. His lips pursed together. While he had recieved passing slights during the trip that resulted in no real harm, this was serious. This wasn't just him. Aiden's expression remained a grim thing as Venice made her plea for reform over punishment. When she was finishe dhis eyes narrowed, not in ire, but consideration for what she had said. At length he reached down and grasped hold of Maria's jaw.

"Do you want a chance to be with me Maria? Are you willing to try and learn to share me with other women? If you do, admit your true feelings for me here and now. Or do you want to be abused and used?"

Maria growled at Aiden, her fingers ripping the grass from the ground as she curled them. "Fine...!" she said, yanking her chin out of his grip. "I still... Feel for you..." she barely choked out. "But share you... I'll never be okay with that! Freaks like that fox would have you all to themselves and use you for your own benefit! And you're fine with that! I hate... "It has been told to me that I shall give time for other girls to have Aiden in their own time. I shall not complain nor stand in your way. I don't feel for him as strong as you do regardless."

"I didn't know all this time either... You should have been more honest and I would have hogged him less~" Ryoko said.

Maria shook her head, silent for a time, before Suika made a gesture. "Aiden, spend some time with her in the opposite side of the spring while we bathe over here. I would like to finally get cleansed."

Aiden didn't fight to keep hold of the angry half blood amazon. His fingers relaxed their grasp once she consented to admit to her feeling. The youth's expression softened by a degree when she chose a path that promoted healing rather than ruin. As Ryoko and Suika spoke up Aiden nodded slowly. The hand that had grasped at Maria remained outstretched, this time his palm was opened to help her up.

"That's good advice. We haven't had a chance to be alone in a long time. I'd like for us to eventually be close again."

A pause followed and Aiden's eyes moved over to the unsleeping red eyed girl with the strength of a giant.

"You might want to thank Venice for speaking in your defense."

Maria glared up at Aiden when he made such a request to be close. Rather than taking her hand or thanking Venice, Maria stood on her own, avoiding eye contact with Aiden.

Before he might lead the way for Maria, Venice spoke up. "You're too quick to damn the guilty, Aiden." she stated, her nude, pale form standing proud and without shame. Her mucle tone was tight and compressed to still appear thin and attractive, and her breasts were not big nor too small, firm and helped to sculpt an attractive figure. Dark eyes fixed on the half blood's face and he remained silent in when confronted with her statement for several long seconds. At length he offered her a slim smile.

"One of many faults Venice. It isn't the last you will see. Fortunately I have loyal companions to catch me when I fall, and show me new ways of looking at things."

A hand moved to clasp Venice on the shoulder in a gesture of camaraderie. Then, unless she had more to say, Aiden walked with Maria back to the spring. Once he began to tred water he leaned forwards and swam leisurely towards the opposite end of the body of water. His head turned ever so often to make sure Maria was coming with him.

After Aiden turned, Venice returned to the others, now in the water, with a fake cry. "He didn't even look at my body!" Venice said in mock cry.

"So cruel! Don't worry, Venice, I will appreciate your rosy red nipples~" Ryoko cooed, and from the fog, Aiden might clearly see Ryoko being pushed into the water by Venice.

"So carefree." Suika commented.

Meanwhile, both angrily and meekly, Maria covered herself despite having been on full display earlier, and gingerly stepped into the spring water, following after Aiden without saying a word.

Aiden decided to ignore the antics of the other women. As entertaining as they might be. When he found a discrete place, shallow enough to sit without being fully submerged, he settled down and turned to face Maria. For a long time he was quiet too. Just looking at her. What could you say to someone who told you to your face that they wanted you to be raped and humiliated that would be a balm to the poison that had infected them?

Maria said with a curious tone, wondering why Aiden would change his direction by the sole influence of Venice alone. The youth's head slowly shook when Maria assumed training him was all it would take to make up for what she tried to do.

"No. But it might help. I don't like who you've become Maria. Your jealousy has made you a cruel, angry, and self destructive person. You were nearly seeded by an Alraune. Maybe if we allow ourselves some private time on a regular basis we can work past that together."

"What you did was too personal for me to totally trust my own judgment. Venice has also looked out for me from the beginning. When she isn't teasing, her advice and observations are sound."

After answering her initial question Aiden went quiet and let Maria voice her mind. He still had a shallow frown on his face, the relatively good mood he'd woken up with having turned sour. First he'd gotten a cannonball to the face, then he learned of Maria's traitorous plot. His gaze was distant for a time as he reflect on the events leading up to that moment, but returned when Maria called his a lecherous bastard. In response Aiden swatted at the water, sending a little splash her way.

"It can't be my ugly face. Maybe you should stop focusing on what you don't like, and allow yourself to look for what you do."

For a moment, she didn't hit him, even though she was blushing, and seemed torn between anger and enjoyment of the kiss. Shaking her head in sudden resistance, Maria pushed Aiden by his shoulder and sent him splashing back into the water.

"D-disgusting!" Maria shouted, rubbing her lips with her arm and spitting into the water, flustered all the while. "If you do something like that so suddenly again... I... I'll crush your head!"

Aiden didn't try to force the kiss when Maria started to resist. He didn't have time to pull back either. Rather than getting a broken nose, he wet flying backwards. His arms spread out and flapped, as if he could somehow keep himself from falling back and it worked ... for half a second. Water surrounded him and he came bursting out of it with a quick shake that sprayed Maria with a flurry of droplet. He smiled while speaking in a chiding tone as he took note of her wording.

"Stop pretending you didn't enjoy it. Look, you're still showing off your body. You must really want me to kiss you again. Alright, it won't be so sudden this time."

The youth got up after being knocked down. This time he didn't resort to trickery or abrupt action. instead he moved close to the half blood amazon with purpose in his eyes and stride. His hand rose and moved slowly, non-agressively, to push aside her fisted hands as he went into for another kiss.
