Try redownloading while in JP Locale. But that's weird if it doesn't run at all, usually if it's a unicode issue it'll tell you that it can't find a file or something along those lines. Also try shorting the location name to see if that's causing a problem. Some games don't like long location names.

Nope,won't work.Tried changing regional settings to japanese,restarted my computer,ran the game from D:\AVH and it won't run.Tried it with applocale and it won't run either.I give up.

can someone help me, ive downloaded the game and unzipped the file but when i go to play it i get a small black box and then it disappears, it would be appriciated.

I've managed to make it work by renaming the files that have Japanese caracters but I get errors.

Rename the files that have a Japanese thingy name with classic letters.

I've managed to make it launch by renaming the files with Japanese thingy names into "classic letters name" but since it lauches, after the 3 pictures about Fighter maker, it shows a GameDemo Open error about a .demo file. Does anybody has the solution?

It was happening with me too.But now it won't run at all.It just shows a black screen then exits to windows.

You have to be in Japanese locale while extracting the game files. Applocale won't work, and being in Japanese locale for a game extracted while in English locale will also not work.

Wrong,i've extracted tons of games on my locale "Croatian" and when i switched to japanese locale they all worked.And i've tried extracting it with the japanese locale,and it still didn't work.Doesn't matter,i've given up on this game.

It finnally works but some stuff is broken (I run the edited file) : I can't choose the alien (when I do I'm againts 3 aliens laying a shit ton of eggs). The alien only does the upside down move and is pretty overpowered.

Been lurking for a while. Here's the non-demo version 1.4, and a version I modified for simpler controls and better balance:

Mod changes:
+ Alien H moves are a lot easier to pull off, once you know what they are. (Down, Up, AB is a move new to 1.4, but it's really position-dependent.)
+ Changed overall rhythm and pacing of fight. Heroine starts with more meter bars, which she uses to resist some (but not all) H moves. There's more variety and wearing down needed to get to the H moves this way. H moves also do a lot more damage now, while PG13 attacks do somewhat less damage. In addition, PG13 attacks build up the alien's gauge and lower the heroine's gauge. The alien can die somewhat more easily than before (drill attack can do 50% if you jump into it), but it's not super hard to win.

Not done yet:
- No AI tweaks. Alien AI does no H moves. Someone else will have to do this, because I didn't find it self-explanatory enough to wing it.
- Backbreaker rape seems to not be in this version of the game at all, as far as I can tell. Unless I'm missing something. It would take cutting and pasting from the other version in order to implement it here, afaik
- Heroine AI health bar seems to blank out if you don't hit her for a while. This seems to be new to 1.4. I don't know what was done to make it like that, but it's lame. I could only figure out how to give her a tiny persistent health bar under her feet. :-/

I was going to let people just figure it out or reconfigure as needed, but ok...

(I don't remember all of the PG13 moves. It's easiest to look them up from Fighter Maker, though the H moves are harder to look up.)

I usually try to do most of the softening up with the basic charge combo: Down, Down-back, Back, E. It's better if you wait and counterattack with this.

From memory, I think the H moves are:
Back, forward, A+B: Hanging upside-down
A: Short grab
Back, forward, A: Long grab
- A: Constrict
--- A: Titfuck. Finish with D or E when prompt appears.
- Down + A: Pin
--- A: Missionary tail fuck
- B: Backbreaker attack (H move follow-up not found)
Down, Down-forward, Forward, A+B: Spread-eagle wall pin
Down, A+E: Lay egg
Down, Up, A+B: Wall jump pin, rear entry.

Having some difficulty pulling off these moves, are you sure those are the right commands? Is there something else that needs to be done in order to do them, such as jumping onto the wall first for the latter move?

Edit: And the very next time I attempt it, the second one works. It's just REALLY fucking picky about the timing of the button presses apparently, to the point where it's practically impossible to pull off with any reliability.

Second edit: And now the first one worked. Definitely should increase the ms available to pull the inputs off so that the moves can actually be done more than once in a hundred tries, as I recall the original timing requiring most moves to need the entire combo to be put in within about 20 milliseconds.

I haven't found it super hard. Just charge them up like Street Fighter moves instead of doing them rapidly.
