Well given the horrors of the night and fog thieving would have to be pretty much daylight affair. Still Jenny wasn't rude and what if Recarn was having a visit. The thought of the sheriff dampened her spirits a bit what if he told Mistey that Jenny was some sort of monster. It would be a shame really she seems so nice. Knocking politily Jenny called out. "Hey Mistey you decent in there?"

There was no answer. The shop remained quiet, though if it was unlocked she had to be inside... a cold chill ran down Jennys spine, she hasn't seen the alchemist since the fog rolled over! Still perhaps she was busy or sleeping, or the like.

Jenny tried to stay calm surly the alchmist knows of the fog she wouldn't be that careless? Stepping into the shop Jenny called out again. "Mistey are you okay your scaring me." Jenny looked about the shop to see if things had been destroyed or tossed carelessly about.

Fortunately everything was as tiddy as ever. Perhaps Jennys imagination was working overtime. Still the girl was nowhere to be seen and no answer came to Jennys calls. Well it was rather early, perhaps she was still sleeping. Then why leave the shop unlocked... maybe the girl flatout never locked up.

Still Jenny could see the door to the back of the shop open, if she wished she could explore... otherwise seemed their little alchemy fun would have to be delayed.

"Bet shes with the Sheriff!" at lest thats what Jenny was hoping. Wanting to find out for herself and also let Mistey's lover know she was missing would do much to ease her nerves. With that in mind Jenny headed for the Sheriffs at a quick pace.

Jenny quickly moved to the sheriffs office, shooting some spiteful glances a the church. Somehow she had a hard time looking at it, especially after what she found in the manor. Such incompetent cowards...

Soon the girl reached the Sheriffs office. Looked like she was on the ball, a note hanged from his door "The Sheriff of Kings Coast is under heavy medical care. For further information visit "Misteys pots'n stuff", 15 Wex street." the handwritting was obviously feminine, likely Mistey was healing up the Sheriff after the injuries during the fog... he did look rather beat up. Even if she disliked the man, Jenny felt a warm feeling for leaving that potion back then for him... who knows maybe it even saved his life.

Still, with that cleared up what would Jenny do now.

It was eairly in the morning and Nico's was still closed. Mistey was busy and she had little else to do. Well maybe something to do Jenny eyed the lake and smiled maybe she would go for a nice relaxing swim. Maybe she would find something interesting after all if she was gonna hide a giant magical Academy why not underwater. With that settle Jenny went off for a swim not doubt the fishermen would love the show to. The only question is was should she go topless or in her underwear.

Well it was a rather warm day for this time of year atleast, though whether fit for swimming was argueable, but heck nothing was gonna stop Jenny. The cold mountain wind was calm today, if the water allowed it she should be peachy.

Jenny approached the lake, it's water seemingly sparkling from the sun. Actually there was a reasonable beach here, sandy approach and all. If it was deep in the summer Kings Coast might potentially make a very good resort for rest and relaxation. Minus all the strange happenings.

The girl passed pier with numerous fishermen calmy fishing, some already packing up, scurrying off to prepare the fish for sale. Judging by the buckets there was a decent amount of fish down there. Soon she came across the small wooden stairs to the sandy beach and looking around looked like she'd have the beach to herself barely anyone up this early and even fewer had the time to go to the beach.

Well it was fairly cold so a quick dip would have to be all today. "Might as well make it good." With that Jenny stripped all her cloths off revealing her sexy body for any fishermen left and dived in for a quick dip. The water only felt warm because the air was cold but Jenny made sure she got herself nice and soaked scrubbing her intimate spots in the shelter of the water before getting out and quickly getting dressed before heading back to her room to warm herself up with the blanket.

Even if it didn't seem like the best idea, the cool dip in and out worked wonder on Jennys fairly tired body. During her little skin-dipping episode Jenny didn't really atract any 'fans'. Most fishermen, were on the pier a fair distance away from her. Perhaps if they had binoculars, but otherwise she'd be done peep-free.

The girl skimpped out of the water smiling widely, water was so exceptionally clean. During her brief swim numerous fish actually came to investigate who it was and Jenny could see them clearly even if on the bottom a decent distance away. The moment the girl reached her clothes she quickly wrapped herself in the warm fur and jogged back to her room. Thankfully the inn was well built so the cold from outside had no effect to the warmth inside.

Jenny quickly jumped in bed and wrapped herself in the sheets snuggling happily against the thick material. Well this was a pleasant little romp. What now?

Jenny lay for awhile enjoying the warmth of the bed before getting up once more and getting ready. Combing out her hair a little bit Jenny decided to head to the bar to get her positively charged before delving back into the dark gloom of the manor.

Jenny was rather reluctant to leave the warmth of bed, but her energy was rather high might aswell spend it in an enjoyable and fun way. The girl got out of bed and got into her clothing, locking up and leaving for the bar. If she was going back to the doom and gloom of the manor, she wanted to grab a proper breather of positivity.

And boy did she hit a jackpot on that. Even as Jenny approached she could hear a ruckus coming from the bar. What was going on this time? Jenny opened the doors to an onslaught of cheers and laughter with one of the barmaids in the middle on the table spinning happily as everyone stood in a circle around cheering "Happy Birthday, Dear Meril~~ HAPPY BIRTH~DAY~ TO~~ YOU~~~ UWAAH~~!" numerous claps and mugs were raised around, as the barmaid blushed brightly at he attention.

"SPEECH~~! SPEECH, SPEECH!" the crowd demanded it so the girl had to deliver "Thank you. Thank you everyone. You are all too kind, I'd like to especially thank all of you for gathering here today and Nico for giving me a chance to live happily inside your town" "WOA~~~!" The girl giggled happily while blushing brightly, when suddenly Nico ran up and hugged her spining the girl playfully as both of the laughted merrily "Well you hear that everyone! The drinks are on the house for the next few hours! To MERIL!" a chorus rang out as the crowd spread out, some coming closer to give a hug or warm kiss for the birthday girl.

Jenny got caught up in the fun and clapped and cheered with the crowd before setting at her usual seat after ordering a light alcoholic drink. She sat and waved a few people just soaking up the atmosphere. She really didn't want to leave after all this place was bright and shiny compared to the dark and depressing manor. Still she had to go there though there was something she needed as Nico.

Nico was mostly spending her time alongside the birthday girl, prying some of the looks away from her. While chatting up the patrons merrily and giving the main bar over for Meril, perhaps it was a privilege of sorts. Likely she heard about Jennys arrival and went over to greet the girl.

"That's her sixty eight birthday..." Nico sat down smiling widely "Yet she's still as precious as I first met her... Just don't tell anyone, especially Meril I told you that" the silver haired barmaid giggled warmly and winked happily at Jenny. Looking over Meril Jenny could hardly give the girls appearance around 20 years old, nowhere near what age Nico stated, was this how the gift worked? Just how old was Nico then?

"So came in to abuse the free drinks offer?" Nico giggled playfully.

"Just a happy coincidence." 68 wow you would think some of the patrons would start to get the idea that she never seems to age. "So Nico I was actually coming to see you about a job. You see Im a little short of money at the moment and I figure I could work opening for you. You know get the place cleaned up before you open the doors and such just a little bit here and their nothing to big. When I find my sister Ill need away to pay for passage and the like. So can you help me do you have an opening?"

Nicos eyes widened as a huge smile formed on her beautiful face "Ofcourse! There's always room for one more girl around here." the silvery beauty stopped to think for a moment "My cleaning staff is filled though, most of the girls without the gift take care of that. OUR talents are very useful for selling drinks" Nico winked slyly "You could work evenings or late nights. I'd suggest simple evenings, late nights pay alot more... but those ask that you offer... different kinds of services for the customers." the barmaid giggled warmly, leaving Jenny to figure out what other services she had in mind.
"Planning to leave already? Got some progress on Linas trail?" Nico smiled earnestly at Jenny, the mention of leaving did sound of rather sadder than usual.

"I have a good lead but its very dangerous. But I think Im prepared." She didn't lie to Nico no doubt the succubus would see threw it anyway. "If Im right then it should also help some of the problems of this place to. But if I get the chance to get my sister that's my priority." Jenny didn't want to dampen her mood nor Nico's so she changed the subject. "Well I don't know if that would work for me Nico Im still searching for my sister so Im not to sure I would be able to be on time for early evenings." She didn't mention the late evenings as Jenny no longer the innocent farm girl had a very good idea what happened that late in the night.

"The shift changes a little before midnight and it lasts usually around 4 to 6 hours. I'll pay 10 Denarii with 1 denarii per drink sold bonus and any tips you get are yours to keep." Nico smiled "It may not seem like much, but the customers are always generous with their tips." the silver haired beauty paused "I think I have a uniform exactly your size, so you can start whenever you want."

Nico eyed Jenny for a moment "It's not what you think Jenny. The bar is still a bar for drinks, nothing more. Just the customer may be less well behaved and more open about their urges. I'm just giving you a headsup..." the barmaid winked slyly, before allowing Jennys previous words to sink in.

"Well wherever you're going please be careful, Jenny." Nico placed her hand on Jennys "I don't know what I'd do if you got hurt..." the barmaid smiled earnestly at her.

Jenny was stunned a little by the last statement did Nico really care that much for her? It would have to be explored at another time but for now Jenny returned the squeeze that Nico gave her hands. "I will I can't help my sister if I get hurt right." Jenny smiled at Nico losing herself in the silver haired woman's eyes for moment. *cough* "Umm well maybe we should see if that uniform will fit got to be ready just in case it needs to be altered right."

Nico smiled widely "Sure!" the barmaid quickly got to her feet "I have a mirror in my room. Let's go get you measured up precisely." Nico winked slyly and would once again lead Jenny away down into the bedroom below.

A room of such a lewd history and Jenny was back here once again. Nico giggled warmly "I actually got all of the girls uniforms custom made, by a most generous tailor from out of town. The previous dresses were just so bland and boring." the silver haired beauty turned around and inspected Jenny "So~ let's get those measurements shall we?" Nico approached Jenny, a mischievious smile on her face "Come on now, strip. The clothes tend to obscure the numbers."
