Re: Dark Secrets (ranger) GMed by Ubberific
The rescue would continued and Jennys help was very much appreciated, some of the escapes fainted right after exiting the tear. The whole ordeal took place somewhere deep in some forest, but it had a certain enchanted gleam to it making everyone feel safe and soothed inside.
In the distace Jenny could see the young man, that others refered to Reicarn. A small smile spread across her face, guess even the sheriff was young at some time in his life.
As Jenny continued to help out around the small camp that formed up, a horn could heard blown from one of the scouting posts. As the whole camp stirred, moments later a small group of armored angels landed. All of them in brilliant armor made of steel unknown to Jenny. It sheened like pure gold, but was obviously stronger than the toughest steel. The full plate armor had numerous ornate decorations, with silvery steel feathers accentuating even the angels armored wings.
The man infront of the group removed his helmet to reveal short well kept hair and a sharp white beard "Who's in command here?!" he called out commandingly, throwing his shimmering greatsword to the ground with great force.
The crowd slowly stepped aside as one man gently made his way through them and by Jenny. She couldn't see his face, but the shock of who it was still lingered. That figure... the man wore a long coat, his face lightly concealed with only curly black hair visible from behind "Gabriel..." the angel commander narrowed his eyes.
"There is no one single individual in command here, Alakar." the white hooded man also made his way forward "But if you seek to blame someone, it should be me." he slowly removed his hood to reveal a warm old face "Ezalor, the librarian." Ezalor stood there, his mighty statue concealed by the white robes "You dare strike deals with demons?! Do you know the price of such treason librarian! How could you fall so low!" he approached the old angel, his posture particulary aggresive "Perhaps we all should lower ourselves and see to the suffering below. The guardians of light should not keep their heads held so high." he commended humbly, as if offering the man to get off his high horse...
"You'll pay for this transgression angel. Men! We move out!" he put on his helmet once more and with a booming flap disappeared in the clouds, Ezalor calmy looking over the whole ordeal. He left as swiftly as he came, not offering help, nor bringing harm. Though Jenny felt that angel would return later on...
Jenny looked to the commanding angel disappear and lowered her gaze to the crowd of people, to meet someone else eyes. His white suit was unmistakeable among the group of ragtag refugees. The red skull politely nodded to the girl sipping some wine, noone aware of his presence. It was the... the whatever he was, the one that saved her from death.
"I find this play so much more tasteful than what was planned. Wouldn't you agree?" he spoke up a blink later standing next to the heroine and swirling his glass, just looking over the activities all around.
