"Riley you okay?" Not waiting for an answer Jenny got up and picked the girl up and ran the rest of the way to the academy looking for any shelter she could find.

Guess the window was a no go "I'm fine let's go!" the showgirl glanced to Sir, who as always seemed to remain surpsingly unscathed aswell.

With Jenny leading the charge the girls quickly rand back towards the theatre and to the back entrance to the academy! A dead silence lingering in it's halls. Looking back the winds still blew strongly, but seemed to have been mutted. A final ring of the bell echoing loudly to interup the silence and put a shade of gray throughout the academy. The harvest has started and the girls had no safe place to stay.

Riley quickly approached Jenny and breathed deeply "Jenny, whatever you do. Do not approach or fight the harvesters" she looked to the heroine firmly, her voice down to a silent whisper "If we reach the library or the Chambers we should be safe..."

The route was simple, the mess hall entrance was right infront of Jenny with hallway to their right leading to the 'leisure quarters'. The mess hall was the most direct route, but offered little cover. The leisure quarters while offering a lot of cover in between the numerous rooms also meant a higher chance of not noting the harvester or becoming trapped.

Jenny had hid in the cafe before but knew at lest one harvester would enter there. Jenny opted for the route with more cover moving slowly keeping both ears and eyes open. Her heart beat wildly she had faced a reaper demon before but not nearly one that was as strong as the ones that haunted here. Moving from cover to cover Jenny made her path. The chambers seemed to be rather safe but she was closer to the library and decided to move in that direction when the time came.

Jenny choose to take the longer, but the route with more cover. The mess hall would put the whole group on a silver platter.

The heroine moved forward down the hallway the first door on her left leading to the gym. Peeking over she could cut quite the bit of route if she went through here, but the gym had 3 exits. Or three points where she could be spotted. Up infront of the the hallway turned to the left and would lead them onwards, there were two doors on the girls right one leading to the art class and one yet unexplored.

The utter silence was unnerving as not even the wind kept the group company, the light shade of gray only making the idle dust floating around all the clearer.

Riley kept a sharp eye looking around for any signs of danger with Servo between the two girls looking up to them hopefully, the deathly silence putting the golem at unease.

There was no talking nor any noise as the girls and their faithful golem made their way threw the gym. The idea of hiding out in one of the bathrooms greatly appealed to Jenny but if something should find them in their then they would be trapped. Shaking her head Jenny kept on course for the library staying as alert as she could and looking for hiding places should the need arise.

Jenny choose to proceed along the hallway, not ducking into any rooms and just focusing to reach the library as soon possible. As group slowly inched forward a cold gust of wind reached the groups legs "It's coming! Hide!" Riley quickly grabbed Jenny to stop and if the girl even stopped to think for a moment would drag her to the two doors on they saw on the right and into the further one!

Otherwise she needed to make a choice, here and now!

Riley quickly busted the door open, as a buzz qucikly began to ring out in the heroines ears. Her feet growing cold as the chill winds came close.

Indeed it was the bathrooms! Atleast 8 stalls were here 4 on each side with a few turned over buckets at the end of the hall. Looking deeper in Jenny could note there was fork for the boys and girls baths.

At any rate Jenny had to be thankful atleast the smell wasn't here. Most of the stalls were closer and the layers of dust here the strongest, noones come here for a very long time... looking around the girl could see quite a few robes soaked in liquid Jenny knew too well. Aswell as dried blood from atleast 3 other stalls.

Jenny quickly followed Riley's lead. Finding themselves in the bathroom Jenny sighed it was exactly as she feared still it looked undisturbed for the most part and the dust meant no puppets or other creatures where in here. It would be a safe place to hid at lest for now. Jenny pulled Riley towards the woman's stalls mostly out of habit refusing to sit in a blood soaked bathroom.

Riley gently pushed Jenny away "Each take a different stall! Sir you too! Keep your feet raised." with that Riley ran to a different stall infront and Sir zipped into one of his own.

Looking around the stall Jenny noted numerous inscriptions on the walls. Gods even so high in the mountains and such an academy the students were still students. The walls almost molding meaning touching them there was a uneasy slickness in certain areas. Still Jenny had to grin and bare it...

After that it was complete and utter silence. All three of the group joined in on the deathly silence each dreading to disturb it. Jenny controlled her breath as she waited for the harvester to pass... if they're lucky it won't even enter her.

The minutes seemed like hours as the silence remained, a chill wind clearly slipping under the bathroom door and through the stalls, well on the brightside some inscription here was actually about Riley! An amusing conversation if anyone knew how to steal the girls books to get her attention. It was a warm moment that turned cold in a instant...

Looking down Jenny noted something they didn't think off. The dust where the trio passed was disturbed and created distinct trails to their stalls! The harvester was yet to show, perhaps he'd not even enter... but what if he did and saw the trails!

It was to late to do anything about it. If she popped out now she would surely be scene then again it wasn't just her life on the line. Still Jenny couldn't bare the thought of getting caught. Praying silently to Naya that the harvester would just assume the foot prints where from wandering puppets and not investigate.

*Creaaak* there was hardly any need for assumptions where the sound originated. The heroines gut dropped as the cold winds picked up, seemingly enveloping the succubus, draining her life there and now. The chill was incomparable, even if the girl beared through the coldest crolian winters this was something else.

Jenny didn't see it, but she felt the presence slowly move through the stoves, it's shadow sliding past each booth. Before stopping near Jennys own, the familiar buzz from before rang-out in Jennys head seemingly removing all strength and thoughts from her. It just kept growing louder and louder, making the girls whole body churn though as Jenny almost felt faint. She heard the door close. The harvester turned around and went out.

Looking down it's own chill winds had lifted most of the dust up, destroying the groups tracks. For the time being they were safe. The chill winds disappearing.

Jenny heard a collapse from one of the stools and if she looked over, Riley was on her knees and one hand over her mouth. Thankfully she hadn't eaten or drank for quite some time...

"I.. think we should just wait it out here for now." Jenny's voice was a low whisper devoid of any energy the shear feat the creatures inspired having sucked it away.

Riley kept the hand over her mouth briefly all too weak to stand "It'll come---... it'll come back." she breathed deeply, looking to Jenny clearly just as scared if not more of the creature.

"We need to reach the library.... as soon as possible." the showgirl would rest briefly, just trying to calm her heartbeat--- *CREAK!*

Servo peeked out from his stall carefully, his door echoing through the bathroom. Though the gazes the poor fella got, made him go right back in.

Spending only a moment gathering themselves up Jenny called out to Sir before heading back to the door and checking if the foul aura had passed. Opening the door a crack Jenny peaked out to check the area before slipping out with Riley and Sir. Moving at a much quicker pace Jenny kept her eyes open for more places to hide if they should have another encounter with the creatures before making it to the library.

Riley nodded at the eager to move onwards the heroine and got to her feet aswell, a tad wobbly, but fine nevertheless.

Jenny slowly opened the door leading back to the hallway, looking around the coast seemed to be clear. Pushing the door open, the succubus couldn't help, but note a certain part of it had suddenly been rusted. Seemed the harvester mere touch would likely cause severe injury. Whatever the case the group proceeded onwards, past the gym entrance and catwalk area.

Turning left the heroine continued through the small hallway and peeked over the messhall on her left, thankfully it was vacant. Save for a few lifeless puppets on some of the tables. Moving onwards the girl soon reached the nature faculty.

The water seemed to be blood red and all the trees had a sickly orange coloring to them. There were 2 entrances to the hallway of the star god here. One further in and one right next to her. Though her gut seemed to scream for the girl to be wary.

Jenny quickly checked the closest one not trusting the sickly color of the trees and the blood coloring of the water. If the closest passage seemed clear and didn't feel unnaturally cool they would proceed that way. If not they would be forced to take the longer route threw the nature facility.

Fortunately there was no tell-tale chill coming from the hallway. Jenny choosed her route and move onwards, though she didn't move far. The girl noted something move through the hallway and ducked for cover!

rested near the embrace, slowly shifting it's matter. The creatures surface seemed to be covered in stretched faces of agony. As Jenny peered closer she'd begin to make out the numerous expressions as they seemed to slowly turn to face her from the black mass surface. Distanst screams growin louder and louder at the back of Jennys head!

"Jenny!" suddenly the girl felt someone tug her wrist "Don't stare into the void." the showgirl glanced down the hallway "It may stare back." Riley quickly positioned herself on the other side of the entrance and looked over the situation.

"This thing isn't a harvester... it's more akin of a present from my Master." she glanced to Jenny firmly "We can't fight it, not like we are." meaning they needed a plan.

They had precious little time. "Any suggestions? We could move around it take another route?" If Jenny went in guns blazing she would only draw the attention of the harvesters. Jenny herself had little magic and despite having Riley here she wasn't sure if the mage could do it.

"We could try to lure it away, but my illusions won't work... it preys only on souls" Riley paused looking to the heroine "Otherwise we could head down to the chambers. The harvest magic strays away from them." seemed fighting it wasn't even a question. While possible Riley didn't seem to even consider it.

"But even if we lure it we'd have to somehow get to the main entrance and then go from there." well she had the options... now what would Jenny do.

The chambers where the best bet but they would have to be quick as it would require some backtracking. "Okay we'll head to the chambers come on." Jenny grabbed Riley's hands mostly for comfort as she lead them away and threw another route to the chambers. It seemed she would have to hide out in the masters room agian.
