Unpack the original untranslated using the RPGMaker Extractor tool, delete the old data folder, put the new one in, it's that simple.



Very weird, an oddly great story though! once you unlock the true ending it's like "Ohhhhhhhhh, now THAT makes sense"

Have a specific name or link for the extractor tool you need ? random googling seems to turn up mostly "useless" things that extract w/e.

Ok seems I found an easter egg in this one.. If you don't want the game to be too easy do not examine the flower outside your room down the hallway. It maxed everything.

That would make the game too boring so had to start over.

That's more than likely a debug tool of some kind that either VCT or the original creator accidentally left in.

Most likely but in a way that is what an Easter Egg is.. LOL.. Oh the hazards of examining everything in an RPG Maker Game! Had to start over it would of ruined the fun for me

You could have used it to breeze through the solo ending then reset your stats in the "New beginnings" room.

I'm feeling really really dumb but... I cant make it work. I have the original game (v1.4), and I downloaded the translation. Just replacing the Data folder (or deleting the old) doesn't work, so exactly what do I have to do?

What he said. I put the level up/cap money stuff in all my games so it's easy to test. Usually add in an "Instant Kill/Instant Death" skill, too. Makes it easier. There's probably one in there still that modifies affections.

I am sure he was not getting upset with you. The steps should be stickied here so it does not have to be explained repeatedly. I made that suggestion in the technical help thread hopefully they will take the advice to heart and put up a good tutorial with links to the files required there so can just point others to that thread.

Those are data folders, don't ask me what to do with it, do some research :\

You also need to own the games to apply the translations. For Arms Devicer is 1.4, the other one I don't know but I think it's the latest.

Needless to say that if the authors go ape shit over nothing, this is coming down.

Does anyone have a faster link than the one torrent I found? I'm getting 6kbps on a 20 mb connection..EVERYTHING else would be faster... I don't think i've waited 24 hours for a full game since I was on dial-up lol.
