Changed the names of the two files. If the first stage starts an error appears but it doesn't crash. But after i beat a certain enemy (in 30 sec) the game crashes. I guess it's because an other enemy should appear and the game doesn't find the file for this enemy.

I think it's because of this error that pops up before starting the stage (see attachment).
Does someone know how to rewrite that file by any chance?

next on the list is
ama.player --> アマゾネス.player
s1 --> ｼｮﾀ
bn2 --> ボンゴラ02

Ok, I had the same thing after renaming the z1 and z2 files.
You have to also rename zov.player into ゾブラ.player.
I did the trick for me, hope it works for you !

edit, it's a mess, other changes :
ken.player => 拳法.player
b.player => バニー.player
b2.player => バニー02.player
samra.player => サムライ.player

the names are all the japanese names. if someone pulls up the name sheet, us guys with a little bit of jp language skills can get to work on translating all of it.

Probably because he worked on the DLC using a japanese base version of the game or a different version where some of the file names are incorrect. Happens often when you prototype a game.

Okay, I have this and with the DLC it runs fine for me, just give me a bit to upload the game w/DLC implemented.

Same here. The file size is too small. My self-patched version is just under 2gb. The one posted just recently is right at 1gb. Something has got to be missing.

Yes, something is missing. I used the "ff" folder from my prior version's contents, and copied them to the new "ff" folder provided by the link. It works now.

I think I managed to get it to work, I unzipped the original game, then the one by serpentkenji, then the one from the link on page 14. I'm not getting held up when starting a stage anymore at least.

Well that's embarrassing - I zipped/uploaded the wrong folder.

yeah, but it still doesn't make sense to use different name files if there is no real change between the japanese version and the other version.

for anyone who wants certain enemys ingame.
replace these player files with another player file. removes that enemy for another.
most of the player files that say nothing were less then 1mb so its probably nothing.

Thank for the link. But after skip the intro, I got some error before select the characters. I think the error cause with ff.kgt file or something.
