Just to add my two cents, I'd have to thank Kyrieru profusely. I can't even count the number of times I ragequit this game, but I kept coming back for more. Kyrieru has the gameplay down solid -- some additional save points would have helped, but I actually enjoyed the difficulty.

I'm looking forward to your next game! Keep up the good work.

Well, you'll never see DLC from me. Not unless it's free, anyway.

As for the last word on piracy, I'm not really concerned about it. If you want to pirate the game, go for it. If you think it's worth buying or you like the looks of whatever I'm developing, then just donate after the fact.

Wish game developers thought like you. A lot of the reason that people go to piracy usually isn't price. It's usually all the DLC, DRM. completely and utterly ignoring and alienating the fanbase and the fact that the quality of AAA has generally gone down over the years (I'm looking at you Aliens: Colonial Marines). Personally I'm hoping that The Last of Us delivers the seemingly amazing package it's advertising.

So, is the ghost girl SUPPOSED to not have any H animations or CG (but still moves toward you then stops on top of your character when you are downed)?

Anybody know?

I am hoping there is an animation we haven't seen yet, but no one seems to know.

My experience with Kurovadis, basically. I only ragequitted once for Eroico, but Eroico's policy on checkpoints + Kurovadis's difficulty would have been too much for me.
But I am confident Kyrieru won't take this route for the next game. He seems to know how to fine tune the difficulty.

Would you ever consider doing some kind of "expansion pack" for one of your older games where you're just reusing the old engine? Like, you figure you want to make a new mini-game after what you are currently working on and end up producing what is basically Eroico, but with different enemies and levels? Or would you might as well work on a full sequel or different game entirely at that point?

Well, it mostly depends on how good the engine is. In the case of Eroico and Kurovadis, I wouldn't bother, since my time would be better spent starting from scratch. (What I'll end up doing for Kurovadis 2)

That being said, if the engine for the next game is good enough then I may make sequels using the same engine in the future (Sort of like what they used to do with megaman games).

..because apparently, they took the config.txt file out of the folder in the demo. Which fucks up the game's settings.

Bravo DLsite...you keep finding new ways to be stupid.

this game is driving me bat shit crazy! I love the fuck out of it but there are no god ***** save points and I can't get past level 1! every time I get to the fourth section of lvl 1 I die. Could you consider some save points please Kyrieru? And I personally love the protagonist being male. I can't help but want to see him on the receiving end of a tentacle or a viking dick with some hot jizz in his mouth or on his face. But that's just me.

That's some pretty impressive work on their end to just totally remove a file the game needs.

And by impressive, I mean pretty "What the fuck?"

I don't know if they fixed it or not, but I just downloaded the demo from their site and didn't seem to have any problems.

And it seems that out of all the people to bother rating the game so far, it's been a perfect 5.

From what I remember, Kurovadis is noticeably harder than Eroico, but makes up for this with more frequent checkpoints. Started again from the beginning or loaded an old save file? Going straight back into the fray seems like a bad idea unless rape is what you are actually looking for.

Kurovadis is easier than Eroico once you get rolling + wall jump. Rolling + damage on roll is even easier. Kurovadis also features an unlimited use ranged weapon, which makes it significantly easier to win against your enemies.

Hey Kyrieru I bought your game a week or two ago. (Worth it btw, people shell out the cash for this guy!) With the updated demo I don't need to redownload the unlock dll right?
