They did have the best translations ever. They were just good enough to understand everything and just bad enough to be freaking hilarious. This is the game I'm most looking forward to, and have been for like a year now. No hype or anything, as long as it's similar to the first game, I'll be happy.

I hope the save system in Erotical Night 2 is better than the first, my saves keep on getting deleted if I don't play it for awhile x.x

Yeah they saved to temporary internet files or something. You just had to know the directory and copy it and make a back up of them once in a while.

Small uninteresting update about the storage box (now much more capacious). Still no girls yet.

Girls are very likely the very last thing that gets done. There will probably be -one- to test animations and battle system before the rest of the game is fleshed out, but that's it.

I'd be completely okay with this. I want to be surprised so I don't know about the different attacks this time around.

The developer seems pretty smart, fleshing out the total core of the game before focusing on the "fun" stuff.

There's a demo up at e-ohkoku.jp/contents/eroticalNight2.html

You can interact with things.. fiddle with inventory, go to shops and pretty much just wander around aimlessly. There are no enemies yet of course, so there's still no actual game there, but it looks like for the most part terrain/map is done (well, as far as I can tell.. I didn't wander too far from the village before I got bored)

The map seems way more detailed than in the first part. It's outright beautiful, almost unnecessarily so. I now have great expectations for this game.

Yeah, that was my one foreboding disappointment. Unless those are just placeholders, it looks like we'll be getting the same or similar system from the first.

I don't think it was a terrible system, it could probably just use a bit of a revamp, which he could have done. It didn't subtract anything from the game for me anyways.

Inventory seems very similar to the first which makes me speculate the gameplay won't be very different which can be good because the developer doesn't have to take so much time into making the game.

For example, torotoro resistance(name unsure), the makers of monster girl quest had trouble making the battles more complicated which slowed the developing process and well, to me, it seems like the game would not have been worse if he didn't break his head over making the game more complicated than it actually needs to be

What are you talking about? There is nothing wrong with adding more depth to the gameplay. And as you can see on the comments in the previous pages of this thread, there are some complaints about the gameplay of Erotical Night 2 that needs to be addressed
