Have any of you used this application that help you tranlate RPG Maker 2000, 2003, and XP Games?

1- Transform RM files into DMK files
2- Extract dialogs from DMK files
3- Put back dialogs into DMK files
4- Transform DMK files into RM files

For a test I did it with a low quality Systran Machine Language translation of Hi No Tetsu No Buresu RJ052839. Note only dialogue is translated as I am no translator. If you just want to see the Low Quality Systran Machine Language Translation for yourself just to see that it works pretty well you may download it from here.

Seems like a kinda roundabout way to do things, specially seeing as it's only for dialogue, though I guess it could be useful for quick and easy translations seeing as most games have very similar battle and menu systems that don't need to be translated.

Ok the screen shot 1 is the Dreamaker v4.8 XP but it's in French. The second screenshot is the Dreamaker v3.8 do not believe this older version supports RPG Maker XP. The Dreamaker v3.8 is in english but shows the menu options which is very simple to use.

1. Converts RM maps to DMK (select 1 than all maps)
2. Extracts dialogue from the DMK maps (creates dialogues.txt file)

Translate the Dialogues.txt file and than use Step 3 to compile the replacement Dialogues.txt back into the DMK maps.

3. Dialogues inclusion in DMK maps
4. Convert DMK maps back to RM Maps

Thanks for program even if translation is awful. How do you run systran with clipboard translation?

The window starts but then nothing happens... I can barely make out three indented lines with "internal" thwen other stuff writen. What does a good working .INI file contain?

If your using the latest one you have to have all the folders dropped into the game folder that you extracted the data with. In other words you need a data folder. You also do have to have the RTP installed but other than that I haven't touched the ini file at all.

If your using the latest one you have to have all the folders dropped into the game folder that you extracted the data with. In other words you need a data folder.

I just dropped the data folder in to DM's and it worked. Thanks. Except I am looking for a way to search events. And since this only extracts dialogue...

Here is a script that does about a quarter of what DM does. Someone who understands enough ruby, pls modify it so it prints everything, not just dialogue out. Alternatively does anyone know how to get

Ok i tried it and it only works on RM2K.... And while the common events out is nice notepad only sees a horribly formatted file with mostly

What part of "by the end of August" was hard to understand? And apologies if you don't like the format, but this is pretty much the only way to do intelligent patching (rather than just file reconstruction).

You now if you knew ruby instead you could just fix the one on github (also on ggc) as soon as today... It seems too have all the features, just no support for RM2K.

its time for me to heads up and learn few ruby tricks and script using in the game. thanx now i will start again to update my work. and i wanna see few of you make some translation of the current games. English dialog will make the game play 100 time better.
