Man, all these requests and suggestions... I hope ILL isn't getting swamped by everything he's reading. Let's just remember that he's the only one working on this. It's just a suggestion, but let's be a little bit more reasonable on the requests.
Your concern is valid but being swamped is all about perspective and ultimately not in our hands. Ideas are just ideas. As long as they arent demands and one realizes they cant fulfill all of them, they will be fine. Filter them and move along. Preassure only exists if you choose it to.

Good game developers stick to their vision of their game, and take in suggestion only when it makes sense or is an improvement.

I have every confident ILL is a good game developer ;) He won't fall into the mistake of trying to cater to everyone and failing that way.

As long as it doesn't fall down the path of CoC where it was just a bunch of fetishists going "Please add this and I'll give you tons of money" it'll be alllllllright.

Anyone have this problem under Windows 8 X64? Seems like I am missing a font for the main title screen.

Note: in-game text is perfect.
Note2: yes, I am running it under Japanese region/local setting/admin.

Is "foy3cis_.ttf" file in the Game / Fonts folder?
maybe some problem with that font, if that file exist.

Because, I modified the font that used with a title screen.
I had not made a font in the past, probably I would make some mistake.

What I'd love to see (and which I'm sure isn't going to happen) is an English patch for the demo. Gameplay is great, but the translator is... not all that useful, to be honest, and it doesn't even do the in-combat stuff. At least, not that I can see. Unless I'm doing it horribly wrong. So I'll just wait for the full English patch to get done. Still an awesome game!

habisain plan to translate the full game, RandomGuy request is demo version translation, soo figure it yourself what i want to say

on a side note, ILL, i'm curious about CG actual size, since in the configuration menu exist resolution selection, i wanted to enjoy the CG on its biggest size without being upscaled or stretched ∩( ・ω・)∩

the Window-size configuration not change resolution.
it's Only Zoom and stretch Window.

it is simple enough to play, where as you don't really require much japanese knowledge to progress (in the demo anyway) once you figure the basic controls and experiment with abilities the battles and all are easy.

Considering a translation of the game is being made, it'll be even more awesome o_O

Now this brings a question... is the translated game being released the same time as the japanese version? or later?

oh and 1 other thing, all the talk about polearm making fights easy, kind of makes me sad the sword is so weak ;/ I think it has a 90% miss rate (i've missed 8 attacks in a row once)

Well you'll have shield(?) in the full game, she's only using 1 hand there. Maybe there'll be 2 handed melee weapons too.

Also sword is definitely more accurate in melee, polearm gets a penalty up close.

The translation will take a while, probably. A couple month after the release at least. But who knows! Enough time that you'll probably want to finish the game in japanese, anyway.

For the weapons, I think that the polearm is the best of the bunch (it costs way more, so no surprises). But I will not go so far as to say that the polearm is better in any situation. The sword is a bit more accurate can hit reliably targets next to you.
Also, we aren't taking in account shields here. The polearm is probably a 2-handed weapon, so you'll lose the extra defense granted by the shield.

The mace is still useless for now, though. I don't think there is a reason to use it at the moment. Maybe in the future some enemies (skeletons?) will be resistant to cutting damage, so you'll need a blunt weapon to damage them effectively or something like that...

I dunno about you but trying to hit those bandits, took a massive amount of effort with a sword (sitting in the door hitting 1 at a time, it took like 1-2 HP potions per kill in the latest demo)

It is, because it does interpolation to 640x480 effective resolution. When I first saw resolution setting I too was mistaken that it will actually change game's effective resolution, not scale it.

Later. maybe I use English translated patch. and fix some text.
and help text (popup at tirgger F8 key).
Maybe I put English sub on Config scene and Skill / Item name in Next or one later Demo.

All melee attack will miss at hit roll 1d20 result was 1.
And any type of Weapon has Weapon base skill.
(ie, Sword > Strike Charge : Asullt 2 HEX and 1d6 + ATK damage)
Weapon base Passive skill is same as well.

Most Useful Weapon? Maybe it's a Lance. Spear can't equip with shield but, Lance can do it.

Ahahah, I'm a fan of blunt weapons myself (hammers especially!). Happy to know that while they do a bit less damage overall they have some use in a fight.

Also every weapon has unique special attacks? The game seems to have a lot of replay value :eek: ...

Different weapons having different strengths and weaknesses is always a nice thing. Stuff like smaller swords do less damage but have a greater chance to apply a bleed or critical hit, or hammers do less damage, but can stun or flinch the enemy. It's more interesting than just straight up looking for bigger numbers.
