Probably not enough story no. I beg to differ on needing a text hooker though, because it generally helps to be able to read where the doors lead to.

And the descriptions of some items and such.

I attached a map that someone here made. Follow the link in it will solve your problem. Depends on common sense though.

It's uploaded as a resized image, zip it up (or use jpg instead of jpeg or pdf) before uploading it. (It's really painful since I prefer .png myself)

I beg to differ on needing a text hooker though, because it generally helps to be able to read where the doors lead to.

I forgot that english ui doesn't translate doors, my bad.

I was right, gold star was super rare, and silver star was rare. (Though difference is only 5% versus 10%) Apparently ? (red star) only drops as a red essence attached to an equipment.

This spreadsheet covers every single crafting fusion minus one unconfirmed in terms of level of essence required. Jade Blade (毒 [5?])
Confirmed: Athame Knife requires 浄化5 in terms of essence

New fusion wise, there is only one crafting only weapon - Spined Blade [2 slots max] Lv5 worth of paralysis.
The weapon itself is unique though. It has a "whip" attribute which only 2 mobs in game has resistance to, and has a range of 2. (Increases sword's acute forward range by 1 and angelic halo range+1 as well)

Clarification: It's not the kanji, it's how many poison 1 (毒1) essence do you need to actually craft it. Either 4 or 5 is my guess. Quotes self: unconfirmed in terms of level of essence required.

78+ hours for me. Having the hardest decision ever trying to decide to on "Spined Blade" or "Athame Knife." In the end settled for Athame Knife [Mithirl, Water 3, Paralysis 1] since it has 1 more slot and holy strike. (PC's a magic build)

OTOH, look at attached knuckle duster, its made out of trollage. (Normal hit, Knuckle Hit, Offhand Hit, Offhand Knuckle for a total of 4x hits, each with a chance to apply status effect)

1) Delete current game
2) Change region settings to japanese (this includes unicode, date/time, and everything else)
3) Download 7z and install it (english is fine, but install while under jap locale)
4) Download maidensnow_eve
5) Extract using 7z (this guarantees that the jap unicode isn't messed up)
6) Install maidensnow_eve.exe (self-extractable) to desired location
7) Download patches from the blog and add it to patch folder
8) Run it without changing it to english settings
9) Check if you got any error
10) If not, change it to english (by removing underscore with the 2 _english files)

Followed your instructions. Still getting the 2HP error...

This is pretty aggravating, since it seems to be a great game

Don't bother with anything that's not the latest version downloaded directly from dlsite. Outside of a day-light saving error that's been fixed later on. I recall 2HP, 3HP, 4HP are all requests to go to author's homepage and download new version.

What's the max number of slots for the spined blade?

Spined Blade is only 2 slots. But it has 30% bind and plasma by default. The secondary dagger has 5T seal and plasma. In other words, as good as any other dual-wield daggers including 3 slot athame. (Assuming athame is elem 3, silver 1, para 1) The only reason I am not using it is because its 70% strength & 30% skill. My strength > skill on my sailor fuku, since I am using burial blade and not crossfire P8.

The knuckle duster I got from a 2 slot knuckle duster with mithirl 2, and I slot expanded it to 4 slots (To be exact, basic craft it to a limb-fire expand, convert back to knuckle-duster, expand again)
The Athame Knife I started with 2 slots sword breaker. Had to use 浄化5 (Due to slots, 浄化2+浄化2+浄化1) to craft the sword breaker to athame knife and then slot expand it.
Both of those weapons, I brought from the drawf, which rarely stocks mithirl 2s. Since they never drop (except once back in early game, I got a 1 slot mithirl revolver cannon and sold it cause there was no slot expansion back then)

Before I forget again: Attached is the spell binder. (Spined Blade's offhand weapon)

Update: Hell mode repair: Everything costs only about x3~x4 more.
Except the Burial Blade -> Durability 20/48 -> Repair fee: 2923 etc and increasing.

Other than specific errors, I haven't found a way to differentiate them. Maybe within the readme file? (I don't pay attention)

For all intents and purpose though, anything outside of dlsite is out of date. There's no dec 23 version available online as far as I am aware.

Leave it empty. If there are patches you need, the developer's website will let you know what is necessary.

Harley, hell mode is nothing new in terms of difficulty, (well maybe a bit more difficult since you have much less hp now. 70 versus 170, but since everything dies in 1/2 hits for me it makes no difference) repair does cost a lot more, also the money you get from converting exp usually doesn't cover repairs. (Hence better to get rich in normal and then switch over) Selling items on the other hand is same as always so it isn't so bad.

The star boost does end up making your equipment stronger though. But my PC's strong enough as it is, unless there comes a harder difficulty. (Starting at floor 30+ or floor 50+ is what I have in mind)

I am going to move onto メイデンスノウの妖怪大魔境 instead (until an update). It's a much bigger world with more interaction and same type of gameplay. But seems like a > 100 hours in term of time drain ._. hence I am going to switch between メイデンスノウの妖怪大魔境 and xBlood.

I am going to move onto メイデンスノウの妖怪大魔境 instead (until an update). It's a much bigger world with more interaction and same type of gameplay. But seems like a > 100 hours in term of time drain ._. hence I am going to switch between メイデンスノウの妖怪大魔境 and xBlood.

Hmm,i checked the first game on google and it looks pretty nice.I didnt even know there was such a game.Thank thee for mentioning it : )
