that was a post made by the dev. explaining updates to all 3 of his latest games, and it was all jumbled together. the extra scenes are not in PF:IF but in the VN spinoff

was there never a full trans for this game? Not knocking it btw i know how much work goes into the translations. Just curious cause arms devicer has a full trans and this one is older and I think more popular.

As to why, the answer is not far way.
You just got some partial translation.

Is there a partial translation for version 2.2d? Or, if I use the original one for 2.2, will it work on 2.2d bug-free?
From my understanding, the Jul-3 version added an extra scene and some items, so it might be worth it to replay the game from start again (iirc, it's easy to level up anyway if you use the right spells).

Like, just the menu being translated would be enough, and VNR can take care of the rest... even if I know Katakana/Hiragana, the Kanji are a headache.

actually i found a working 100% English translation of this game but that was a year ago and i lost everything to a virus if i ever find it again ill post it here for you guys.

You mean that someone goes through the trouble of fully translating a game and then it just gets lost? :( If such translation really exists, don't you know where you found it originally?

Well, if it exist it's (really) nice.
However a one year old full translation will be missing a lot of update, so it would need to me reworked to avoid bug (possibly game breaking one).
Still, if you got all thas was here 1 year ago translated, you got 95%+ of the work done.

But it might came from some closed site that won't be happy with ulfm if it's shared here

Well if that is the case, either they are down and no-one cares then, or they host their own links, no?

it was on a hentai game sharing site cant remember which one >< and yes it was far as i knew fully translated ><

I know the Alt story got updated to 1.3a not sure whats new in it :p

According to CircleKame's twitter account (with the use of Google translate) the trial version of F4 will be coming out later this month. I actually hope they keep their word since they have a rep of stalling.

Yeah but in the same post they said it was to be released this month. So i guess it is true. The Question is how complete the game will be. PF IF got a few big patches.

Now that I think about it, CircleKame posted that the trial for F4 would be released in September on the 28th. that gives them only two days to submit the trial for the game. They won't make it; they lied once more. :mad:

Judging by his earlier game, it will be bugged.
Most of the games many patches are for bug, not content :/

I just started Crane's route, got to his village and the old man's hole, Fought the Angel, but I died...
Now I cant re-engage the angel.
Am I screwed?!

Well, yes.

Kind of the same thing with the succubus thingy when your lust is high enough. Where if you get defeated you wont be able to "catch em' all" :p
