Re: Aegis Thousand Year War - DMM Online Game

You need copies of the save units.
Does it work if you use a copy of a non-CCed unit on a CCed unit? (Do skill ups work the same way too?)

But yeah, good luck with the new event guys! I'll just keep farming rural gate... >.>

Vampire Hunter - Gold guy upgrade requires 2 Iron Archers, 1 Silver Rogue, and 1 Gold Fairy. I Imagine the plat chic requires Silver Archers.

Yes, skill up works the same way but only if it's the same skill

How high did you get Ophis In terms of skill level? think you have past me by quite a bit there.
Sweet, glad someone here finished it up, gj Ophis. I settled for 15%/Lv11 since my luck's been pretty bad lately, and learned my lesson with aegis: Give up earlier rather than later.

??? in the current event sure does brings back memories

I bring news from the foreign lands.

Probably reasonable to expect compensation. Here they admit that they might have screwed up, again. Tl;dr: We meant to make it 120, not 1200. Yeah, sorry, we go fix soon (TM) and will make sure future events come out right.

Could you just post the text next time please? Probably take less time for you and quicker for me to translate it. I like to read their wording myself. I always have to go and dig through the forums to try to find the post of the image you show :p That looks like a pm or something though, so maybe you didn't have access to the text to copy/paste.

Thanks for the info anywho, being only at 8 blood, I figured there was a mistake.

I've spent valuable time trolling out such information, the least I'd expect is a thank you. Learn Japanese or ask DP or someone else to translate if you don't buy what I post.

Yes, this is a PM. No, I personally won't be posting text. Non-disclosure clause. You post what's considered to be "private communication" and they shut down your account. It's why people stick to images. Devs usually can't be bothered to check forums or bulletin boards, but they'll shut down sources if necessary - for example, the last guy that posted Odette stuff got temp(?) banned.

FYI: If you post something negative about the AIGIS dev team on their forums (e.g calling out their bugs), you'll probably get a temp ban. Calling them out publically on the last events (e.g. paladin's drop rate or Odette) can get your thread removed from public boards or worse. Complaining about poor drop rates is about the only thing they tolerate.

It isn't about "buying what you post", I just like to read things and comprehend them on my own. I didn't say you were lying or anything, I just like to know their wording. I did thank you, I was just busy trying to locate the information myself. I had no way of knowing that it was from a private source because you didn't mention it, so no need to be uppity about it. I initially thought it was just posted somewhere on their forums and you didn't think to allow people to translate it quickly themselves for those who care to.

They would have had to announce it soon publicly anyways. I don't see how posting an image is any safer than posting text. In fact, an image seems worse.

@Ragnelle
Thanks Ragnelle, that just saved me from a lot of wasted money. Appreciate it, both the quick heads-up and clarification.

Fruit's been too dependent on the google's text translation, that's why he wanted the original source. Didn't realize Aegis's personal respondent NDP is so strict, thanks for giving me information on that as well.

Incorrect concept, text is searchable, image isn't. (At least images like this isn't searchable)

*blink blink* first time I feel sorry for the management. Em no, it's their fault that they screwed up again. 1.2k *fp*

Text needs context, if you don't give them context to search, it's fine :p If they do find your image, you're pretty screwed and have no case. So let's say there are pros and cons to both, and both have their risks? Lol. I just tried searching for spoiler text on ULMF and it didn't work. Spoiler tags are boss.

Re: Aegis Thousand Year War - DMM Online Game

Most of the actual information that's useful from players tend to be in private communities and shared in a club of mostly cash-based players. I use the word club because I stumbled upon one of these things entirely by accident, and it' not really well-known even among native speakers who mostly congregate on their imageboard equivalents instead of web-based chatrooms.

Incidentally, the devs do pay attention to these guys because they're dropping hundreds of thousands of yen every update, so it makes sense that these guys are privy to information way before they'd announce it to the public, if it happens at all. The reason why the Odette thing leaked out was one of those folks took it to the 2ch because, as I noted earlier, he was understandably upset about what actually happened.

Well, I didn't see your ninja edit. I had a long day in the hospital. I don't appreciate being called uppity because I reiterate, I'm simply bringing information to help you. I dislike their private P2P only club as much as the next person, and one would think that the perceived tone of writing is less important than the actual content - in which, the only useful information up there is that they're considering about adjusting the serum requirements because it was a mistake on their end.

I just noticed it looked like a pm for the edit, didn't mean to "ninja edit". I usually post immediately, keep the page open and look for things on my other monitor, You'll notice almost all my posts are edited because of the way I post in real time like if I were chatting with someone. Too bad it doesn't allow that easier. I was just distracted briefly by trying to find the post on the forums.

Just poor communication by the lack of real time messages and I thought you were coming off as rude because of it (Same for you to me obviously). Sorry about that. It's frustrating not having much Japanese knowledge, I don't like relying on others. I've tried to learn a bit, but I'm not really in a position to take a lot of time learning Japanese atm, it's always been a goal of mine. Maybe I can find some online course or something.

Re: Aegis Thousand Year War - DMM Online Game

I think I found another bug. I get a 400 error sometimes when using the in game gold to buy gacha. Anyone else gotten that? Only started happening after this patch. Speaking of paying, bought some holy relics for gacha. First three pulls in order were these...

I guess they really want me to have the last two since I have three of them each now. All I want is a Samuria and that plat Vampire Hunter. Love her art, and the gold guy Vampire Hunter looks pretty awesome too.

Also, can we assume that all of the needed amount will be divided by 100? So its 12, etc, all the way to 120? Anywho, bed time for me!

Edit: PS The Vampire Hunters go from a double shot to a triple shot when they upgrade.

Re: Aegis Thousand Year War - DMM Online Game

No, because there are people with screens saying anywhere from 120 to 280 that I can't personally confirm the authenticity of. Currently, what information I have on hand (because that image got pulled off of 2ch immediately for good reason) is that the devs are in a conundrum. They think they've screwed up (no sh*t. 1200 bloods is going to cost a stupidly high amount of everything), but there are multiple individuals with similar messages, some with concrete numbers and timeframes, some with the message I've posted above.

If you're looking on the official forums you'll find three numbers. 120, 200, and 280 as the number of max bloods required for either this phase or the entire event. I have no way of verifying any as actually being correct, but I have written them a message as well. We'll see if anything comes out of it.

Tl;dr: Chill on the event. Wait for 3/4 for phase 2 or at least some kind of hotfix to come in. They're probably going to have to do something because of how badly this event got handled.

Re: Aegis Thousand Year War - DMM Online Game

Seems like there's a helluva lot of bugs with this event too, the pc bug thread is lit up with all different kinds of reports. Mostly game freezing stuff when in event battles, so be careful.

The cost thing isn't too bad unless people already spent tons of money buying crystals for it or something. They should really publicly announce it though if they plan to change it.

Wow just found a perfect strategy for 35/2, worked flawlessly:

I had every unit he had or better (Except the valk, but her role is minor and easy for about any decent duelist). Very low requirements. It's amazing what a few reinforcements can do at the right times. That's always the tough part, knowing which point to put different fighters out. It's not something you can easily figure out without overpowered units, or a video recording to see when everything appears at certain points.
