Re: Aegis Thousand Year War - DMM Online Game
Also, to follow up on what Tieskey's saying about evasion and why you should care about it is paralysis. If one of your units receives 6 blows from a vampire or lesser vampire, they will become paralysed. With 50% evasion, you have a 98.4% chance of avoiding one of those 6 blows, and just 82.2% with l'Olonais.
It's just a matter of time before they introduce the event with Vincent's daughter, which is going to have werewolves and vampires, so raising multiple evasion units is going to undoubtedly help with that, since the alternative is going to involve tanking them with AW units like Saints, Gigant Armours, and Undead Killers, which is problematic if they're going to reintroduce golden wolves (though awakened Arch Witches may make these easier now; they were some of the nastiest enemies you could fight with a CC team even if you had high-tier units).
Just to recap how nasty paralysis is for players new to the game:
-Receiving X-number (e.g. 6) of blows paralyses unit for 12 seconds.
-Halves defence.
-Deactivates and prevents skill activation (excluding Prince's skill).
-Some forms of paralysis reduces that unit's block to 0 (i.e. Momiji's skill, scorpions, ropers, certain ninjas, and vampire lords).
-Blows while paralysed do not count (can't be paralysis-locked).
-Evaded and nullified blows do not count.
-The Saint class halves paralysis time of all units excluding themselves in their radius by 1/2 (i.e. 6 seconds), which doesn't stack with more saints.
The only thing I'm not sure about is how long it takes before the paralysis counter resets (I rarely see rogues become paralysed except when some players used them against the green goblins during Flan's god-tier map). So I don't know if evasion resets it back to 0, and the players during Flan's event got extremely unlucky, or if they have some short period after receiving a paralysis-type attack for it to reset.
@FruitSmoothie:
Yes, they will both function, though I can't think of very many maps I farm that would benefit from a second Master Assassin Betty all that much. I can't think of any players that use multiple copies of her; Base Struggle 2nd has a good location for Betty at the bottom right, a good location for Lyra towards the left, and a good location for Patra on the spots near Betty. Ideally I think you would want to get Lyra or Patra, since they can be used for enemies and situations that Betty is unsuitable for. Another Betty just means you're probably going to be forced to deploy her at the bottom right just to catch several more units, which might not be worth all of the resources and gold spent raising her for that.
Cost-reducing your Betty would make it easier to farm certain maps, since you can deploy her earlier and then go into afk mode 1-3 seconds earlier (this will add up when you do the same map hundreds upon hundreds of times).
