lol. At first I though I received bunch of new silver units in my unit box and it was only new Mischa. I love new her but srsly new Phyllis is a downgrade. Thanks Goddess her cute sprite didn't change.... new Calliope is also cute.

10/0 map was really fun, I enjoyed the joke. Completed it on second run (Cornelia + 3 healers made the trick).

Petite I would appreciate info where is skill changing and how it works (you mentioned it a few posts before), I will definitely use it on Liana and on Cornelia when I 5/5 her skill (before Elva event I was bitching for having 10 paladin orbs but it was nothing compared to you guys! Looks like I wont have enough of them
One dumb question about Cornelia skill AW: since it is only skill she doesn't lose her bonus for undead and demons, am I correct?

Skill Awakening is under the Awakening Menu, and it's the upper-left choice (it's where Special Awakening for Princess's and stuff used to be).

You need a black unit at skill max before you can see what kind of skill they're going to get with a comparison of their old one. You spend the same amount of orbs and gold as awakening that particular unit (i.e. Cornelia will need 3 Dark Knight Orbs and 300,000 gold).

Cornelia's bonus against demons and undead is her AW Abillity. It has nothing to do with her skill.

Her old skill was the one that reduces the attack of all enemies by 30% at skill 5/5 for 15 seconds. Her new one just makes it so Cornelia turns into a tank (2.5x defence for 40 seconds), and grants the rest of your characters a 20% chance of nullifying any particular attack. So it's your choice whether you think the stable attack decrease for 15 seconds is less important than turning Cornelia into a super tank.

Within 25 seconds, slow down the attack speed, 3.5x times the damage, and make it into an area of effect attack during the skill duration. (No idea about range)

None of my tanky girls could take that 10 charisma boss on their own even with 4 healers (Un cc'd Priest Warrior), I just went Karma and my heavy hitting ranged on left side and cheesed it.

Mischa: I really love her changes. Beyond just her stand up art (I'm about even on that with her previous one style wise, legs aside), her cgs are vastly improved in quality. They had some glaring anatomy problems before, and those ears...:3

Phylis: She's pretty cute, I'm so glad her art is fixed as well. I don't have her 2nd cg since I never evolved her, but her 1st one is great.

Rinn: I'm not sure how I feel about her change. I don't know why she was altered honestly. I think I like her old art better, her shoulders are pretty broad now, it's bugging me. I want her old art back x.x All I wanted changed on her was her AW'd art since it's just a pallet swap. What's really weird with her is they didn't alter her sprite either, so she's still tan.

Calliope: Great new sprite, she looks like a black unit now, geez.

For all black units initial wait time increases from 1 sec to 5 sec. Many cases this should be a problem, but

a) I hope WT on awakened skills for lower tiers won't be too bad (especially I hope this is not current WT x 5, lol)

b) I am not sure if I want to AW skill of Karma. She gains more attack (1.3 -> 1.6) at a cost of dropping her def to 0. This is ok, you use the skill when she is 1 hit from being dead anyway. However, I use her as an emergency plug unit and having 5 s WT instead of 1 means she has to tank a bit, which is not always an option...

I should have asked this earlier, but considering your comment about including the Japanese names for the maps, is there anything else that you would like me to include for the event posts?

Since forever my only wish about those posts is that you don't get burned out and stop doing them. If I come up with something that I believe would improve them I will bring it up, but they are perfect as they are.

I totally agree! Aegis would be much poorer (fck, is there such word?) game without your translations and all informations you are providing for us. I would be still playing this game (probably) but Thursdays never been so exciting before. Now I look for your post as fast as I wake up @@

This window is inactive for me but probably because Liana is not AW yet and Cornelia doesn't have 5/5.

Cornelia skill AW sounds really good imho but I should prioritize Liana (CC50) and Karma (lvl 64) for now. I bought Karma during her revival event managing only -1 cost and I was forgetting about her ever since. She saved my ass a few times already but never been my first choice - only because of bad memory.

I am looking forward for Anya AW. She was my first Princess and in my roster for very long time, but she was kicked out of it when I got Cornelia. I would like to use her again. She has the best picture in whole game and I also love her sprite. I am so nervous she will get crappy AW ;/

@Fruit, I can ask you now after longer period of time but how do you like playing aegis via tablet? Did you use browser even once to play it since then? I don't remember mentioning it before but nicovideo improved their android app really good and I really like to check videos on it too.

I know you have your Cornellia maxed out, due to happy fairy. That means she has ~600 def, likely around 700 with buffs. This means, that 2.5x def gives her roughly 1000 def. There is currently one unit in game for which 30% physical reduction is better than 1000 def - the 'over 5000' demon lord. However, 30% reduction also applies to magic damage, true damage which will eventually come and works on maps like the 90% def reduction alchemist one. The 1 -> 5 sec wait time can also be issue (for example when you used her to tank the golem - if you deploy her earlier, she needs to eat ranged shots). Party-wide 30% reduction is also better than 20% block. The only really big advantage of new skill is the increased duration, which likely makes the switch actually advantageous. Still, I wouldn't consider this to be an auto-pick, unless you really want the increased duration.

OK everything is clear (story and event). Obviously first part was harder than the second from my point of view.
Anyone know if the tengus deal physical or magical damages? Since they can deal far more than scratch on Dine.

Mmmm I'm a little disappointed in that most new skills are plainly better instead of a "crazy second option". But well, black units were broken to begin with so...

Edit: how did u deal with the right-central Pharaoh? Archers on the right won't reach him T_T
Spika on the left with skill activation has enough range but she gets distracted and can't kill it...

Other than fighting Monique and Na... Na... v... You only missed gaining 1 easy sacred crystal.

Also, Despunia is 100% wrong like how Kerry (ケリー) for Carrie, Carry, etc. (キャリー) is 100% wrong . Her name is 'デスピア' (Desupia), which can be shortened to Despia. Her name is probably based on Despina/Despoina/Despoine, who is a goddess of mysteries and Arcadian cults (there's also a semi-famous fictional witch named after this goddess).

fuck can someone tell me what to post I think my data got corrupted I'm getting this message I guess the 2 crystals I took out of my mail a little before I slept caused this or closing my browser mid battle a couple times because I failed to 3 star the april fools map.

Pray it fixed by next maintenance, Well 1 free sacred crystal for all player

PS: omg i'm actualy able to 21 star my friend 2 month acc this felt like huge achievement for me too (why is he keep asking me to play his acc in event map -.- i keep telling him to try it out 1st before asking help even gave him the video *the map i help is 3 star vamp lord + 2 star golem map + 1 star last map*)
