Re: Aegis Thousand Year War - DMM Online Game

I just got up (working all nights lately ._.) and I will play stream on 2nd monitor but as Exkale: I am busy doing other things.
When there will be something important in questionaire I can click it if you translate Petite.

Edit: How did he get so many good characters btw? Ate 50 crystals on summons?

@Anelai:
(1) Do We Play?
1) Yes (93.7%)
2) No (6.3%)

(2) Roll How Many Times?
1) 0 (4%)
2) 1 (0.6%)
3) 3 (3.6%)
4) 5 (26.8%)
5) 7 (6.9%)
6) 10 (58.1%)

Yes, the majority voted that he waste 50~ crystals on premium.

This is an official video, and the person is a member of the niconico management. His account is Niconico. He's not very knowlegeable about the game, so watching him fail to activate skills or deploy the right character feels kind of...

I guess they chose him to make the 93% of viewers who play the game take on a sempai role by giving him tips and suggestions.

I would be thrilled to participate in such kind of sempaing if I understood what they are talking about ;D

A week ago during one trip Crow was showing me some japanese "letters" with introduuction which one means what. It was hilarious for me, every of these symbols looking much different than what they meant. On the other hand I now know what "eye" looks like (and looks hilarious to me, lol) ;D And tree, because I know it looks like mountain Giewont* (because it is all SO logical).

Giewont is one of the most famous mountains in Poland, with cross on top:

EDIT:

It is done or break?
EDIT2:
Ohnoes, what should I click =o
Too late, I did not click it at all

Now I think it could be something like "how longdo you play this game..." ;<

It's a break.

EDIT:
He's back.

EDIT 2:
Who wants to take bets on whether this guy can 3-star clear Armour of the Dead (it's the last story mission that gives Calliope as a completion reward)?

No no no, u are doing it wrong. U first smoke some opium (or your weed of preference) and then all kanjis make sense... :p

U should memorize katakanas and hiragana, thats only 50 simbols.

Unfortunately I am against these things...

I can bet he wont be able to do it...
EDIT2:
Thinking about this. He actually may be able to complete it, he has good archers. But I wont bet.

EDIT3:
Maybe he is not so bad after all @_@

EDIT:
I will be so angry if he pull new Hermit ;/

I am bein kicked out of stream every 2-3 minutes. Fuck it then

Haha, Armour of the Dead destroyed him on his first trip; he was spacing out, and didn't use Katie's reinforcement skill (he was tediously waiting until he could deploy Cyrus rather than getting the Prince and another healer out).

On the topic of Kanji, there's a foreigner, with the stage name Atsugiri Jason, that has a comedy routine about it (subtitles in English):

He has various versions of this bit, but the one I liked the most was for '銅' (Copper), which has the radicals for 'Gold' and 'Same'—Why Japanese People!!?

Kanji are ideograms, so there's no harm in learning them before hiragana or katakana, since their meanings can be used even if you don't have a Japanese vocabulary. Katakana and hiragana are phonetic, so you need to build up a vocabulary for them to be useful; I recommend katakana first since Japanese is filled with loan words (mainly English), but there are ones from other languages like 'バイト' (Baito; Part Time Job; German: Arbeit). Learning katakana means you can immediately practice with it, since this game is filled with English loan words.

LOL.

(Should we tell him kanjis are Chinese?? :p)

Well, copper actually makes sense, it looks similar to gold, or at least they looked similar 8000 years ago :p

This quote made my head hurt but then I watched this movie you linked:

And I had tears all over my face. I am subscribing this guy and gonna watch him when I got just a bit free time. He just tells all I think about japanese language in such a funny way. Love it! Thank you.

Re: Aegis Thousand Year War - DMM Online Game

do you think you could make room in your list for me petite it looks like my only hope of completing the current event UR is to spam the battle point restore items for the next day but no one seems to be willing to finish off my monsters. my list is almost full of people now but it seems like either I choose a bad time or they are all just summoning their own monsters and waiting for them to be killed.

@marcus3708
I sent a friend request to Strength (which I suppose is you). If your account is something else, then you would have to tell me what your name and ranking is in the colosseum (need at least 10 points to get ranked).

I can one-shot Lisette until the latter quarter where she'll require that I have 5 AP to deal 2/3~ of her health at Lv20. I have 10 bottles of the '[event] spirit water (half)', so I can do a Lisette burst down marathon if needed. I'll be more-or-less online for the next 10 hours.

I believe people were saying something like that should come since they have removed certain black units from the gacha

Re: Aegis Thousand Year War - DMM Online Game

@SybillaISsoCUTE:
I use Dahlia, and I never really thought that I would like her to be cheaper to deploy despite the fact I managed to summon a second copy of her from Base last year for the -1 cost reduction, since she's a mid/late-battle unit. I believe the Black Valkyrie Clissa falls into the same category, though her AW skill does give her 2 sortie points per kill, but all of the other Skill AW Valkyries have this feature. Pegasus Rider Ridy or Esther are much more worthwhile to cost reduce, since they have an AoE attack (ranged for Ridy) and can gain sortie from flying enemy units.

Between Clissa and Elizabeth, Elizabeth would benefit from being cost reduced, so you can deploy her earlier, but I would save the Time Fairy in case you somehow managed to summon Elizabeth again from Base or SP summon for the guaranteed -1 cost. I want to cost-reduce my Witch Adelle, but I won't use any Time Fairies I gain for it until I get the -1 cost for her; there's always a chance they may make Adelle a campaign character like they did for Yuyu and Figneria.

As far as Black units go, the ones you would want to cost reduce would be ones like Aisha, Nanaly, Despia, Minerva, and so on. They're ranged units, and their cost is such that you can make one of them the first thing you deploy on a map. Characters like Heavy Armour Dine won't benefit from a Time Fairy, since she's so expensive to deploy, you're rarely going to find yourself attempting to deploy her as your opening unit.

Re: Aegis Thousand Year War - DMM Online Game

somehow I didnt catch that. If you are going to use it on clissa maybe should save it for her last cost reduction since the first is 100% using another unit the normal way. The time fairy is 100% regardless so its better to use it on the last reduction that isn't 100% at least in my opinion

But other than that save it for a black you feel is very helpful to you maybe when youve played the game some more and can make a decision you hopefully wont regret later

Ok thanx for analysis. Then i keep dat time fairy. Well right now i use Clissa + Elizabeth as early power combo, to clear maps. Kinda scared that CC on Clissa will hinder her early game usefulness. oh well, i will manage somehow
