I got 51st place in Crime Busters. Damn it... I wasted all of my spirit waters for this? I should've never spent any to begin with; All I wanted was the UR-mirror Card for my UR2 Amaterasu. It's not like that thing is good since it won't let me get all four of her AW skills.
EDIT: Spent all of my tickets, including my UR ticket, which gave me Yamagarasu. I think I'll just quit. There's no point in playing this if players with no common sense are going to keep chucking money into it to make things more needlessly expensive and difficult. That's probably the best thing about Aegis. People in this game, lacking in intelligence and reasoning skills enough to delude themselves into wasting money to roll premium to have a team of black units, are incapable of ruining my enjoyment of the game and its event rewards, even though that foolishness makes the staff less likely to fix the worthlessness of the chance-up system, but that just means I'm not going to roll premium until I have nothing better to do with my horded crystals. Hopefully D&P ends its awful 'limited to 200 account' special character event after its maintenance tomorrow as a bad idea that decreases player satisfaction.

probably more intelligent to just quit any game with ranking systems they just make people fight each other with their paychecks for 10 bucks worth of content at best. very stressful to try to pit your hard work against these people that can waste money like that. unless you can win with 500 or lower rankings then sometimes you can get past these people that dump their paychecks
Crime busters only has my interest for the free events that has characters I missed from the old game if that wanes I'm gone. I looked at the ranking prizes once and was just like nope not happening getting only 1 UR copy for lower rankings is meaningless.
I guess this Ricca revival is right on time though I wasted my black armor on the sapphire puppeteer like a week or so ago.

well this is a much unwanted change you can only buy 10 skill medals in crime busters now and they made them cost 10x as much. I couldnt read it and assumed it was bundle of 10 for 20 each instead of you can only buy 10 for 200 each

I think I'm going to stop doing dialogue translations for every event, since they've been taking way too much of my time and I'm kind of upset right now.
Generally it's 80~100 lines of dialogue per weekly event. Eterna's 2-week event has at most 2046 words (10447 characters without spaces), and an estimated reading time of 11 minutes (really?) for its ~151 lines of dialogue.
Each week takes me between 1~3 hours depending on how much time I spend trying to look up stuff, like the Black Dragon Sablevurm sent me on a wild goose chase trying to make some sense of its name.
Aside from maybe doing translations for events with a character I like a lot, I'll translate one entire event for the following people who did something meaningful for me:
Crow_mw (Fully compensated me for second Tamamo serial code.)
exkale (Gave me serial codes.)
Keima (Gave me serial codes.)
w00t5 (Gave me serial codes.)
I don't know if what I'm doing has any real value to others. For example, if I did a Patreon thing to help compensate for the time I spend doing this, I personally wouldn't support myself for even a tenth of €0.09 per word (minimum Eng-Jpn translation). But I'm feeling really salty over the CB thing, so...

Like Marcus say, never play a game with reward based on player ranking, i did it long time ago and it waste much more of your time than any other kind of game only to annoy/stress you to death.
Anyway :
1st time i fully clear a item farming event, generally i never go more than 500-700.

I hoped that by the time you are tired of translating, Petite, I would have leveled my Japanese enough to read them on my own... Guess time is up, and Japanese language turned out to be too hard :<.
All the time I was amazed, that you devoted what looked like a lot of time to translating all the dialogs for us. While a number of people, myself included, are extremely grateful, it surely is a project that grows tiresome over time. Thank you for all the effort and the great time I had understanding stories behind our ladies.
As far as Patreon is concerned - I would be interested in participating, but I agree it would likely be hard to pull off the ~100 EUR a week you estimate. But hey, who knows, maybe you could give it a shot.
I always thought you should get some sponsorship from DMM/Aegis developers. It is hard to estimate, how much your works gives them money - I for sure do buy crystals and would not be playing if not for your input. They should hire you for example to write an English column on the Aegis website... but now with Nuntaku up it is unlikely they would do that. But hey, if you want to contact them and need some reference from us, you surely will get it.

Just a stupid idea but... contact the Nutaku team to ask if they have a full time translator. If not, maybe you could sell your translations. Your quality is actually better than what Nutaku currently releases so....

My guess and hope is that it's another platinum or gold dragon rider instead of black. I don't wanna quit Aegis quite yet. (Or broke my bank for that matter)

I already said some mean things about Nutaku. I kind of wish DMM was contacted by a company to do translations that would keep all of the assets (even if it meant keeping the genital mosaics). More and more Japanese game developers are going the Asian release route (Chinese/English/Japanese language version that people can import to avoid needless censorship and changes in western releases).

I was calculating ~34.83 EUR a MONTH from a tenth of 0.09 per word based on decreasing the word total of Eterna's event to 1800 and then halving it before multiplying by 4.3 weeks of events per month.
