Re: Bloodthirsty Idealism (Zilrax&Vyrian) GM'd by MAF
Erin watched as Erin skillfully dodged the giant creature's blow. She knew, really quickly, that a single hit like that would take her down in her current status - hell, it'd probably take her down when she was fresh outta bed - but she kept smiling to herself, blood dripping from the edges of her mouth, as she saw it reel in pain from her single blow. She would've yelled a taunt, had she had the strength for it, but she felt herself fading more and more with each passing moment.
And she seemed to have managed to get the gorilla's attention, which was bad enough by itself, but it seemed to be preparing to pound the ground, and she couldn't think of a way to get out of the danger zone quickly enough. She frowned, staring angrily at it. This wasn't it, this couldn't be it. She hadn't lost. She had to win. She would win. Somehow.
So when the warrioress stood in the way of the blow, trying to block it, she knew it was now or never. She threw caution to the wind, gathering all her force, all of the ambient force she could get, focusing everything into one blow. She heard herself gasp for air, lost in a scorching torrent of energy whirling around her, whimpering as dark bursts of flame erupted from her eyes, her mouth...
And then it was all flying towards the gorilla, a single point with every ounce of power she had left put into it, regardless of consequences, of safety. She didn't see if it hit, she didn't see if the gorilla hit, falling to her knees as soon as the power had been flung as if a puppet with its strings cut, light tears rolling down her face, blank eyes staring into the ground as if they couldn't see it, until a coughing spasm wracked her again, painting the grass red.
