"Appropriate? How? Seems like it'd kinda clash...," says Denna with a shrug, "I'll look in the mirror some- Ears, what? Think I've got a functional set here already, mmf..."

She listened to Krill, and nodded when he went out to help his wife. "Oh, not brushing now? No, go on, help her out, she;s far more important than silly tail brushin'.," smiled Denna, watching as Krill left, before glancing back to Erin.

When Krill left, Erin's eyes had drifted towards the goblin. Simple creature, simple desires, and possibly the most honest person in the village. Erin gave him a half-smile, which quickly turned to be a full one when the goblin replied in kind. Somehow, in all the crazyness of this village, the goblin seemed somewhat stable.

The smile honestly caught Denna off guard. Frankly she had expected the girl to ignite him or something. Though she seemed happy to... Fondle him in the tub, if a little maliciously. Maybe it was a cultist thing? The girl was as difficult to make heads or tails of as ever.

Either way, no reason to be disrespectful, Denna gave the goblin a nod. "Y' don't need t' be nervous, we don't bite or anythin'. Respect given is respect returned an all that. So, I guess they took you in from the woods an such huh? You seem t' like it here, but what had y' out in the woods alone? Y' don't see lone goblins like that typically, you folks are pretty clannish. Though if y' don't wanna tell, I don't mind."

The goblin seemed far more open to words when the pair of them showed smiles and even began to ask questions of him. "Ah, well, I did. I was a part of a clan, but I got hungry and wondered off to find some food, catch a nice bunny, before I came across Sam. I went to take her for myself, but she didn't struggle nor scream that an ugly goblin was rapin' her. No, she just took me inside, load an' all, and offered more where that came from if'n I helped out around their house! So I did, an' she birthed a son of mine from her. So, we's like family now, they say. Krill even helped me to learn how to fuck bettah." he chuckled. "I like it. I like women when they like me. It's fun that way, and easy! I like this whole village. All the girls are nice to me and rub me where I like it! The boys I hunted with can go bugger off! They have to steal women, I don't! I don't have to risk me neck either! Sucks to be them!" The goblin laughed at his former comrades misfortune.

"Most goblins die young, not me! I've made three sons, and I plan on makin' more! Livin' long!" he said with cheer. "But, some say my goals are too low. I should aim higher! What else could I want though?" he wondered aloud with a shrug, as if nothing else interested him. Ordinary ideas such as cooking and the like wouldn't seem too appealing.

Typical goblin really, but Denna didn't really expect much else. Still, good to be sure, and it wasn't like he was really doing anything wrong now at least. Hell he even managed to seem the most reasonable person here. Guess he hadn't gone through the brain wringer. Though, probably because Kyubi seemed to hate humans primarily. Or maybe goblins were immune to brainwashing? She honestly had no idea.

"Well glad you're happy at least. It's a hell of a culture shock for me really. But goals huh... Well that honestly depends on you. Seems to me that if you're happy, and making other people happy, then everything is fine right? but maybe you'll figure out something else to do too overtime. Whatever works for you and everyone.," smiles Denna, "Me, I've got goals, but they ain't the kind you can really do. Probably a human thing, spend your life reaching for the stars and such. I basically just want people to quit having to fight and making each other miserable and such. Inequality and all that. Folks should be allowed to live how they want long as they aren't hurting anyone, and especially if they are making people happy. And I'll give what I got to protect that."

She shakes her head a bit. "Hm, hey, you ever met that Kyubi person? I'm just sorta curious, you seem a bit more down t' earth than the other folks around here, and kinda wanna hear your opinion."

Or maybe he was brainwashed too and it just didn't really translate exactly the same on demons. Pity that. Oh well, it seemed likely the goblin wouldn't really mind any changes as long as he got to keep doing what he was doing. Which basically meant that he was basically not a problem in that regard, good to know. Did mean she'd need to watch her phrasing around him though.

"Glad to hear it.," smiles Denna, before musing, "I'm a little concerned though, y'know? I mean this village kinda acts like your old clanmates, going off to steal women and men and risking their lives. But they don't have to,y'know? Heck, evidently they're all packing up to move far north cus they got the human city all riled up with it. Not exactly the best idea they had. I mean, moving works for this time I guess, but it's just going to keep happening if they keep doing it, and we both know humans aren't as good at hiding and surviving such as Goblins are. And we're probably going to lose people on the way, though I'm going to try and avoid it."

"They don't seem too inclined to listen to me about the stealing people though, yet.," sighs Denna.

Goblin could at least be a test run for future arguments and such, and maybe he had some ideas that were feasible. She couldn't discount any options here.

Erin was surprised to find Denna interrogating the goblin for a few seconds, until it came to mind that the creature was probably a good source of information, in exchange for any kind of sexual favors.

Not knowing where Denna wanted to take the conversation towards, she remained out of it, simply looking at the two interlocutors carefully. There was an approving nod when the warrior hid their real motives - couldn't be too careful, specially around that woman of dubious alignment, Sam - but other than that she just listened, trying to find ways to make the most out of the goblin's willingness to talk with them.

He could probably work as a messenger, definitely, but there were better ways to do it than just telling him directly. A slight grin appeared on Erin's eyes as she looked at the Goblin with a predatory look for a moment, suppressing it before speaking softly.

"So how does that work? Do you get to see your children often, or are you barred from them? Do they have as good a life as you do? Honestly, you seem to be in a rather... unique situation."

Four goblins weren't much, but they were the start of an insider network. And if they went and came as unbothered as this one did, assumed to be stupid by everyone else... well, they could prove to be really useful indeed. Perhaps that was why Denna was trying to win the goblin over to their side?

More than anything, the goblin seemed to get angry. "No! No! Sam and Krill are not like old clanmates! They care, they're kind! They take care of me!" the goblin defended them. "Don't talk about them that way! Other humans just don't understand! Those humans are evil! When some saw Spiffy with Sam, enjoying her, they tried to kill me! They're the evil ones!" Spiffy said, hating the goblin murdering humans most of all, who see his kind as rapists alone, despite Spiffy 'turning a new leaf'.

"We steal no one! No! People come here, we welcome them! Kyubi convinces them, that's what I knows!" he stated. "Kyubi say people that think Krill and Sam are bad are the real bad ones. Don't you call them bad!" Spiffy said, actually sounding upset that Denna would suggest such a thing.

Damn it. Of course. Sometimes it felt like she shouldn't even bother. Was it even possible for them to change without magical aid? It was starting to look unlikely. If nothing you ever did was wrong, you had no reason to ever change. Well she better try to salvage this a bit.

"No, no, not like that Spiffy. I'm not saying Krill or Sam would hurt you or mean to be mean. And yes, it is wrong for people to try and hurt you for what you are. I'm sorry, I didn't mean for it to sound like that.," says Denna quickly, hoping she could calm the goblin down.

"I didn't say they were bad. I said I think what they are doing will put them in danger. That I'm worried that this will keep happening is all. I chose my words poorly though, I am sorry.," she clarified.

As quick to the defence as any of them, though clearly she had to choose her words better in the future. This wasn't her usual role or situation, and it was showing to say the least. She still was at square one best she could tell, tail or not. It meant little if she couldn't figure out any means to get them to think any way but how Kyubi wanted them too.

Her question lost among the violence summoned in the goblin by Denna's own words, Erin looked at her trying to explain and calm the goblin for a few seconds, a tired sigh on her lips. She puts a hand forward, right in front of the goblin's face.

"You made your point. Now you can apologize, because Den here's trying to help you stay happy and not lose your family." She stares at him, angrily. "What all of you here think about yourselves doesn't matter. If the outside people think you're evil, it doesn't matter if you are or not. They'll treat you as such, and kill you, your family, your friends." She turns to Denna, taking a deep breath as her words lose much of their edge.

"Time's wasting here. He can't see any further than his nose."

"They hated us when all we did was play with doggies!" Spiffy replied to Erin's aggressive approach to the conversation. "That's why we move! It's safer! Kyubi says so! She'll protect us!" The two women would be full aware of how racist and xenophobic Badarians were. A village that worships the idea of sex with animals and a kitsune goddess would have normal Badarians calling for fire and blood without the cult having to do anything. It just wasn't a safe place to be for most people.

But Denna's attempts to calm him down, despite Erin giving him more cause to get upset, worked. "W-where we're going, Kyubi says they're more accepting. We'll be safe!" Spiffy claimed. "If they're accepting, they won't hate us! And if they don't hate us, we're safe!" Spiffy said happily, waving his hands in the air in celebration.

Then, after focusing less on words, Spiffy's eyes looked to the nudity present before him. "U-um, by the way, is there anything Spiffy can do for you?" he said with a big smile, holding his hands together as if in prayer to be blessed with the opportunity to touch either of them.

Oh lord there Erin went again. She sighed and laid a hand on Erin's shoulder. "Relax, Erin. There's no reason to yell at him over a disagreement. He's not entirely wrong anyway. Most Badarians wouldn't accept them, even if they weren't overly aggressive about it."

Still, the Kyubi will protect us card had been played. There was no way to truly counter that unfortunately, so she had to just let it lie. Still the goblin was easy enough to work with she suspected. He wasn't complicated and she knew which button not to touch now.

Denna looked to Erin gently, "I don't consider talking to him a waste of time. I upset him, even accidentally and he had a right to express it. And I did ask. If he has a different opinion on if it'll be safer up there, that's no reason for me to cut all ties over it."

She looked back to the eager goblin, definitely ready to serve. Or more likely to try and get up close and personal. "I'm just waiting to get my clothes, Spiffy. Since Erin wants me to go naked all the time, maybe you could keep them safe for me for when it gets too cold for me hm? Once they're inside of course."

"What about you Erin, anything you want to ask Spiffy to do?," asked Denna.

To be honest the thought of being sexual with Spiffy wasn't very appealing, but Erin had seemed far more interested in it in the bath than she had expected. Maybe it was the demon cultist in her? Or maybe just one of her mood swings. Either way the bridge had been stopped from burning down it seems. And she still had no idea how to work this. Maybe Erin was the one to listen to, at least for getting control of the situation. Probably not for social situations.

Spiffy looked to Erin as if nothing had just happened. He had the same ugly little grin as he did before, eager but humble in the presence of those who could easily flip him over and make him beg for mercy. He looked eager to do whatever either girl asked, nodding at Denna upon her request. "Y-yes! Spiffy will put them in the kitchen, where miss Sam cooks, it's always hot in there! Your clothes will be hot too!" he announced with glee. "A-and then, maybe Spiffy can rub your shoulders? M-maybe your bu-b-b-back!" He stuttered as if he was going to suggest he rub Denna's butt.

Erin had her chance to speak, offering her piece on the matter. Before anyone could reply to her though, there soon came a knock on the door. "It's David! I made some arrangements to your clothes and armor! Come on and open the door, I can't wait to show you!" he said with excitement.

"That was not yelling. You've seen me yell, that was just... stating my opinion. Strongly." Replied Erin in an amused tone, anger quickly vanished as the goblin's own reaction had mellowed.

"The point about badarians going to hate them anyways is good, but..." She stopped there, thinking for a second, then shook her head. Denna wouldn't settle for keeping others out of the cult's clutches. "Well, Kyubi isn't here right now, so let us worry just in case. Better safe than sorry."

"As for the waste of time, well, you know what I meant. You're not changing his opinion, he's not changing yours. And we... know what, forget it." She waved her hand. "I should follow my own advice and drop it. And thanks for the offer, Spiffy, but I'm fine for now. You'll be the first one I tell if I need something though."

The goblin was eager, really eager to please, and that put a grin in Erin's face once again when she started thinking of the things he could do to it. She was just slightly bothered when David knocked, pulling her out of her brief daydreams, but then a wide, mischievous smile showed up on her face as she remembered the man's desires to get some reward.

"Why don't I open that..." She almost purred, walking to the door with a playful smile. She didn't know just how full David's hands were, but if she had a chance, she was going to plant a kiss right on his lips the moment she swung that door open - and then lead him in like nothing had happened, of course.

As predictable as a rattlesnake missing it's tail tip, as Denna's father would say. It seemed to sum up Erin perfectly, one moment she was exploding and the next she was honey and fluff. Scary as a friend, scarier as an enemy.

Denna just shook her head and took a seat. "Yeah, go ahead Erin."

She'd just have to trust that was a friendly purr and not a "I'm going to get to melt someone's shoes" purr. Stuff like this was making her almost wish she knew how to read minds. No chance of that though.

Time to see how it went, and to see the renovations to her clothes.

Spiffy's goblin ears drooped a bit when Erin said she needed nothing, but the slight promise made his mirth immediately return. "The first one!? Spiffy is the first you'll think of! Oh, thank you! Mistress!" He called Erin his mistress, overjoyed that he seemed to be #1 in Erin's eyes. After that, he seemed to stick to Erin like glue, always somewhat nearby, listening just in case she happened to want something.

When the door swung open, the tall bald man stood there holding Erin and Denna's belongings in his hands with a wide smile on his face. "Hi Eri-mmph!" He greeted her immediately before he was silenced by her kiss. David looked rather flustered, his lips left in the last position Erin left them in after she was done. Brought into the house, David just stood in place, looking rather silly for a moment before realizing where he was, who he was, and what he was doing. "Uh... Oh! I uh... I brought your clothes!" David announced, looking more conscious of Erin than he ever had been before, insisting on glancing at her but unable to hold his gaze for more than a second.

Their clothes were changed indeed. They could slip on all their things like normal, their tails easily made to fit due to the cuts made in the pants to allow a "U" shaped dip just about the buttocks, which was just where their tails happened to be. Denna's hole was smaller, because her tail wasn't that wide at the base. Erin's meanwhile was much larger, to account for her large tail. Besides that, their clothes were mostly the same. With some minor alterations. Erin's boobs would be a bit more pronounced, as well as the shape of her body. Denna's armor was remodeled so as to show off details such as muscle and even the curve of her tiny breasts. It seemed like it's be an almost perfect fit while also showing off the features of her body, the material like a second skin. Both their clothes had a similar mark. On Denna's, there was a mark over the left breast. It was a heart shape with the name "David" next to it, as if the armor was made by her sweetheart. For Erin's clothes, a simple "D" written in stylish lettering was stitched onto the left breast using gold lace. The gold D sparkled in the faint traces of sunlight.

Well. That wasn't eating his face, though maybe because she just stopped short. It was almost kind of adorable if it didn't make Erin seem even more unpredictable. She almost felt bad for David in some ways.

Denna looks the clothes over curiously, and her armor, blinking. "Well I'll try em on, Erin thinks I should go naked most of the time mind.," shrugs Denna with a smile, trying them on, and the armor and ensuring they fit before disrobing again, looking at the heart with David's name on it, smiling amusedly.

"Interesting embellishment there, David. Signature for your art?," she smiles, folding the clothes carefully and handing them to Spiffy, "Here, keep them safe okay? I might need them in a hurry if something happens."

She looked back to David, "It's very fine work, thank you for doing it on such short notice. I wasn't exactly expecting to have a tail in the morning. I'm still trying to not knock everything loose over with it. Least the house won't have to worry about dusting haha."

Erin couldn't help a satisfied chuckle at the effect she'd had on David, stepping away from him with her hands behind her back almost chastely. She noticed the looks he was giving her, widening her smile, but pretended not to do so. Nothing like being appreciated to improve one's mood.

She took the clothes, turning around to put them on - giving David a good look at her from behind while she was at it, wiggling as she struggled to get the tail properly in place. Once she'd managed to get it to submit, she gave the clothes a closer look, her eyes pausing for a moment on Denna's mark, and then her own.

"Staking a claim?" She asked playfully before running her hands over the clothes testingly. "I like them." She approved, and then added with some surprising sincerity. "Thank you, David. Should've told you about Denna before making you work on the clothes, but I thought of that just now."

Clothed once more, she once again felt capable of taking down the world in a blaze of fire, and this reflected clearly on the confident grin slowly appearing on her lips. "Maybe you'd like to join Denna and I tonight?" she offered.

Their clothes, both girls would find to fit perfectly. David listened to Denna make mention of his signature. His smile was wide and proud, but Erin's suggestion that he was staking a claim on them made David give a great recoil in response. He looked to have been completely shocked at her question. "No way! I just put the first letter of my name there so every time you wore it, you'd remember who made it for you." he stated honestly. "I'm glad you like it." he said then, smiling since he seemed to soon understand that what Erin said wasn't an accusation. "I made your clothes so your tails can move freely about and be in full view. Such beautiful tails they are, I wouldn't dare hide them. It'd be an insult to you." he claimed, rather proud of his work. Indeed, he looked quite happy that both parties were pleased with his alterations and repairs as Denna looked to Spiffy.

"Yes! They'll be kept safe, within quick reach!" Spiffy replied excitedly, happily putting Denna's armor with Krill and Sam's gear and weapons, and indicating as much while silently looking for a reward, hope in his evil yet pitiful looking goblin eyes.

Then came Erin's invitation to David to join her and Denna for that night. He didn't seem interested in asking for specifics, the invitation alone seemed enough to make him give his answer. "I'd love to join you!" he said with a friendly smile, though his eyes looked over Erin more closely, his eyes searching the clothes more than her sexual body even though the appeal of such wasn't lost on him. "Ah, good. I was worried it might be too tight, but it looks cozy." David nodded. "Designed for maximum comfort!" he said to Erin with a wink. "Will also be cold up north. I could also make you some winter wear if you'd like? Most of my craft would tell you that you cannot look sexy during the cold times, but they've never heard of a man named David, I say!" he chuckled.

"Too right, David!" Krill said with a chuckle, coming into the house with Sam in tow. "Delivering the clothes and armor?" he inquired.

David nodded. "Indeed. More satisfied customers." David said with pride.

"Gold thread for our new leader and priest. Excellent choice, David." Krill acknowledged David's choice. "David here has also made plenty of clothes for the missus." Krill declared, showing off some of Sam's clothes, including a dress, apron, and black panties, all with David's signature on them. "Everyone in town is quite thankful to have David around."

David chuckled, waving his hand. "I'm not as good with new people as you, Krill. I just freeze up when newcomers get hostile. You handle it so easily." David said in envy. "I never would have developed such a great relationship with lovely Denna and Erin here, in fact!"

Krill cocked his head to the side. "You're never around when we celebrate with new guests." Krill noted. "Not even when Denna and I first made love."

David shifted awkwardly. "The new comers always think we're evil... And I just freeze up when they look at me with hatred. I'm happy to meet them after you and the others help them understand us. I'd rather meet someone for the first time on good terms, you know?"

"I understand, David." Krill chuckled, patting the larger man's shoulder before heading deeper into the house. "Don't worry, friend. The place Kyubi selected for us to go is rumored to be a safer place for us. The people there will be much more accepting of us, for sure." he encouraged his friend, before vanishing with Sam into their bedroom unless Denna or Erin stopped them for any reason.

"That's good to hear... But I hope I don't make friends too quickly! I still haven't gotten to know Denna, Erin, Aurin, Lilly..." David began counting on his fingers, the men and women who were captured and converted and welcomed into the town, who he planned to befriend as it was in his nature.

Denna nods at David's explanation. She had expected as much really. "Well, think it'd be hard to hide this giant ball of fluff strapped to my butt.," smirks Denna, tail swishing a bit.

Denna nodded as Spiffy put her clothes, blinking when she noted Sam also had gear. Did everyone know how to fight here? Huh. Her attention returned to Spiffy, seeming to be wanting a reward again. She couldn't afford to burn bridges but inside she still balked at doing anything with the corrupt creature. Maybe she could get away with something else.

She leaned down and hugged Spiffy, trying to not get too embarrassed as she let her small chest press against him. "Thanks Spiffy, I appreciate it." Hopefully it'd be enough. He seemed more taken with Erin after all. For all her rage, she seemed almost natural in this environment.

Her attention was returned, blinking confusedly at Erin inviting David over. "Huh? What's going on tonight?," blinks Denna confusedly, before her attention was again distracted by the return of her "fiance" and his wife.

She watched the exchange between David and Krill, and held her tongue on the matter for now. David still was her best bet to get through to someone, though she still needed to find a chink that they couldn't just rationalise as malice. It still struck her as nigh impossible but she was on the road now and she'd see this through somehow. If she could just get them to bend or something.

She looked to David as he listed the people off, tilting her head. "If you want to know me, you just gotta ask. I'm not real complicated a person. Can't speak for others though." She hummed a bit. David seemed to know and want to be friends with most people, so he probably knew people in town better than most.

"Say David, can you tell me a bit about the priests? I mean, I get the general idea that they serve Kyubi, but what exactly are their duties, and who are they exactly? It was kinda hectic before."

"Winter clothes would be wonderful, David. If someone can make bulky winter gear look sexy, it's definitely you." Erin replied with a smile after the tailor's explanation, taking a few steps up and down in her new clothes. Tighter than the robes she was used to, definitely showing much more skin - but with the reactions she got, pride was far more powerful than shame, even with that bloated tail stuck to her butt like a big zit, throwing her awfully off balance.

The overeager goblin seemed to have been taken care of by Denna, but all her relaxation went out the window the moment Krill and Sam walked in. She tensed up almost visibly, eyes flitting over both of them as if analyzing an enemy, most of all focusing on Sam. Her hands were tied to get rid of them for now, specially after that promise to Denna...

She sighed quietly, relaxing a bit. She had promised to try and get along, after all. Fortunately for her, a conversation had sparked between Krill and David in the meantime - and a rather interesting one at that. Hearing David's point of view reassured her that he didn't have to die - and then a doubt slipped through the cracks of her vengeful convictions. If David didn't have to die, who else didn't? It was quickly stomped away - those who participated in the "welcomings" as they called them had to go, those who didn't could stay. And Sam, whichever group she belonged to. She was a threat.

She caught herself frowning as the conversation ended, and quickly relaxed her face into a soft smile to speak to the men.

"I hope you stay that way, David. I don't think I could be friends with someone who had done things I hated to me." She said, far more quietly than usual, though her eyes quickly lit up with confidence again as she looked at Krill with a half smile, half grin, not saying anything as the man left with his possibly only human wife. Denna was talking about getting to know her, and Erin couldn't help herself but abuse the opportunity given.

"Then, Denna, how about you choose the activity the three of us will take part in tonight? It could be sexy..." She trailed off, walking behind the warrior and wrapping her arms around her. "Or it could just be dinner and a chat." She whispered into her ear softly, before letting her go, back to standing alone. "So what were you saying about priestesses before I so rudely interrupted?"
