It's a bug, supposedly it was fixed in the latest build (see my previous post).
Can't check though, accidentally deleted my saves when I copied the folder.

Well I came on here to complain about that problem ( I downloaded from your link ) and yeah, the bug is still there....

What's different in the update?

Also I've captured the blue haired Queen lady in the 5th area, what do I do next? I got 2 knights also from that area.

There are sprites of blue oni-like enemies in the game archive, so there might be a chance of future updates.
Or perhaps there is a hidden area.

I have seen a new version has been released on 23rd May, that includes additional pregnant images and some more dark elves (but no CG scenes for them)

It's just a few alternate CGs, wait until the full update with the dark elves and onis is out.

I've really enjoyed it so far even though the difficulty is a bit higher than I'd like.

I need to go grab the most recent update since it adds pregnancy sprites for all the ladies.

I have scoured the internet many times to no avail. He's kept updating it and even updated it last week. Sadly the only versions on the net seem to from the week it was released and are missing half the pregnancies.

I've considered buying it, but I'm super poor. : /

Just to check, did anyone ever locate an updated version of this game?

I was last noted as updated in June but the only version I can find is from April
