This game looks fun.

Two questions: 1. Is the final release out yet? 2. Is there a partial/full translation for said final release in the works?

2. Dunno .- . but since there's partial for this game so far I'd say partial is possible

As far as I remember, you trade the urn for a super skill. The npc is located somewhere around the broken teleporter next to the volcano.

I remember one time I had a lump of Kraken meat and placed it on the altar in Neptune's Shrine. (V3.00 and earlier) There was a sound like something happened, but I don't know what. This time around, I didn't get it. Really bad luck is what I seem to have. There's roughly a 1 in 3 chance the beast will drop it, but I just want to know what I've missed.

Uh, kinda foggy o that one. I seem to recall you get to face some Poseidon knockoff and get a mediocre magic staff, but I'm really unsure about it.

Seems a bit anticlimactic. Anyway, the sword trainer's last skill mission is now post-story content.
So, what's left to do for Konoha? The Arena or the Fortress?

.- .? In term of adding content? As said before, 'evil/corrupted' route and that's it.

The author initially planned it to be a one-town thing, but seem to have ends up making it actual route plan now.

No, not in terms of adding content. The ending text makes it seem that there's still missions to complete, that's all I meant. I hate it when they do that and there's no evidence anywhere of such a thing.

That having been said, I'm eagerly awaiting the final version.

Uhhh I kinda skip those texts :v maybe tho.

I don't know if any quest require clearing the main story first to unlock, but that line might've meant something like you can go clear quests you didn't clear yet as one of the thing you can do now that story's over.

Since at this point you can just fast-travel around just about everywhere.

Did anyone ever find / make a proper walkthrough for this? I always seem to get stuck where you have to find the book in the village with the black haired loli is getting gang banged. I use the book and the quest never updated, and i got stuck.

Yeah... the update trigger on that one never happens.
I'm rather fuzzy at the moment, so I hope I remember correctly.
At this point, you're supposed to go back to the Imperial City and talk to the King, then talk to the guard with a ! over his head. Past this, it's self explanatory.

If my memory is tits-up, I apologise.

So far I can't seem to find the code to the Steal Lvl 3 quest in the Thief's Odette, can someone please point me to it? I did the damn stupid and deleted the compressed game data file before unpacking it a few weeks back into an RPGMVX project to check the code myself.

I tried going that route myself, Myst.
Turns out (unless I missed the clues as well) the only way is to cycle through every number one by one.
The event trigger calls a common event which contains this line:
Control Variables:[0014: (Kanji characters)] = Random No. (0...999).
When I saw that, I just about raged at it. I ended up bruteforcing it. It was frustrating, but eventually got it.

*sigh* I like almost everything else about this game.

Wait, what? MVX is backwards compatible!?!?!? Nice! And also i did not realise it got released already.

Myst didn't say MVX, she used shorthand. Similar to how RPG Maker 2000 can (and usually is) shortened to RM2K. So, no. I doubt MV is backwards compatible. In fact, I'm fairly certain of it. AFAIK, XP, VX and VXA use Ruby scripting (not sure about 2K and 2K3, but I wouldn't be surprised) whereas I think MV is Java based.
