works but doesn't have sound

Someone had that problem even playing on 3dfuckhouse site.
See:

- Roninsong, there's no music in your latest candy shop episode: Candy Apple. Is this intentional?
- Whu? There was music in it when I made it…I have no clue what that’s about

So even Ronin don't know how.
Actually I've sound so I don't know too. Try to change browser.

Where is the sound coming from? the files you uploaded do not contain any sound files.
Although, I guess it could be midi sounds? eh

I tried waterfox, pale moon, chromium, and google chrome. None of them have sound.
And Internet explorer doesn't work at all

First time I tried to download it with a firefox addon I got a mp4 with the music of the game, so it comes from the game for sure.
However that's strange. I've sound both for buttons (hit, next) and music as well and I'm using chrome/firefox.
Have you tried to upload java ?
Otherwise I have no idea. I'm using same files and all works without problems. And I've already posted a Ronin's reply regarding this specific problem.

I know as I used a firefox addon that I usually need to save other files, otherwise I'd not have obtained it and even as mp4 wasn't playable. However the sound works (at least for me) and it's part of the game, but I repeat I don't know what's the problem behind this "no-audio issue" and seems even Roninsong doesn't know that too

Anyway is the audio very important in candy shop games ? Apart looped soundtrack and little moaning is kind of superfluous.

Yeah, I don't really mind no audio, I'm in it for the dialogue and the animations.

this is really odd since I don't even need to use private mode at all
it only asks me for usename password if I click a link inside it.
did you wait the requisite amount of time for it to actually load after opening the HTML (it takes a while)

... do you have adblock plus / scriptblock? (they might be blocking an automatic redirect which is giving you the problem)

Ok, Joey to the rescue concerning sound. First off thank you Bob_81 for links to these games.
Whoever is ripping these games forgot to rip the audio and images from the games. They need to be included in the folder you extract locally.
For example: In browser wherever the game is online, say "www . ***. com/Candy_Shop_Cheesecake/sounds/sexmoanwav.mp3" (<= this is just an example internet address) Ctrl+S to "(where_you_have_extracted_game_locally)\Candy Shop Cheesecake\sounds\sexmoanwav.mp3"

I tested the games using replacement files (I just renamed some mp3's and jpg's I had on my hdd to the missing files) and put them in corresponding folders and they worked, audio and images!
So Please, whomever has access to the games on that site, download these audio and image files!

Proof that images and sounds work (I selected some sounds and image of logo from older Candy Shop games). extract this .rar in "Candy Shop Cheesecake" folder (keep in mind not all files present):

This is what I already said, its really a "no duh sherlock" moment, rather than your fancy proof I simply looked at the files in the zip and observed that the files simply do not contain a single audio file of any sort. It is impossible to play something that isn't there.

The thing about "actual customers reporting its not working and roninsong can't figure out why" should be taken with a bucket of salt.
I am almost certain that those customers allegedly using the regular website either have done something stupid like turned off their speakers, or are liars who are actually using the downloaded rip which is missing the audio files.
Roninsong doesn't know why because he simply can't replicate the issue, it works for him and it will always work for him because there is nothing wrong with it, its just the rips that are bad

anyways, thanks for the files. it works with them

a real shame about the switch from swf to html, because the already awful performance got much much worse. and I have a beast of a machine
