using search shows old RPG maker thread so probably that.

I think that's what the items are for. Collect a certain amount of them to get them. It's completely random which you get i think though.

The roll at the end of each level is random, but you can pick which of the three items to take, so it's a little bit better than it sounds. Of course, without knowing exactly what costume each item goes to, it's a bit harder to work with, but them's the breaks I suppose, at least until a guide of sorts is made.
That said, the animation (Especially for an RPG maker game!) is astounding. Haven't seen 2d flow this smooth for quite some time, and even the enemies were amusingly characterized just by looks alone. Definitely looking forward to this one.

Yes, although the image folder shows the attack pattern of another one, some kind of ghost.
