i tried to rebalance the sound so the bgms don't overpower the sex noises.
I had a lot of fun making this game, and I think I've come a long way.

wooh, the final game has only 5 animations and cg, but i hope it should be a fun game nonetheless

EDIT-I decided to make this a hentai game first for several reasons, i feel like this is my first game with the potential to be successful, but in order to make it a successful h game, i would need a demo in advance of release to reach it's potential... as opposed to just adding the H when i was done...

the other reason is i just like hentai games...

the game is planned to be a simple metroidvania with 4 weapons and maybe some other equippable items (max 4)... when it's done i might add Hentai, but i don't know for sure yet

arrow keys to move
X to Jump
hold D to change spell
C to cast a spell
enter to pause/stat menu

a witch sneaks into an ancient library of forbidden magics, only to find someone else got to the tome she was after first...she gets her ass kicked and dumped into the depths of the library, where she must explore and fight monsters to gain abilities to escape...and get the tome from the other witch

considerations;
obstacle that does damage regardless of orientation (thorny plants)

collision damage instead of solid state on moving enemies to prevent code clashes (getting stuck in each other)

probably will but that comes last as the games design should come first

easy methods for it would have tentacle that grapple you for damage, so i can just swap the animation and stuff :3

basically i'll keep in mind the transition to H game when designing it

still havent added death to the game yet but i have added a bit to it

right, few things, when you come to the room with the red brick flooring, you will need to push 2... this room is where the tome the character is after is held, and another witch will be nuking the room causing you to fall

i also added the ability to aim the flamespell up or down slightly

having reflected upon the way i dealt with other releases i realised i would need a demo up on dlsite as soon as possible to build hype...so i have made the decision to make it hentai (naturally)
so far theres only a little groping animation from the faun enemy but i'll keep you guys posted.


I do plan on releasing a non hentai version after though, which i'll be doing under a different title :3

added generic bat enemy to game, easy to avoid but can be hard to confront

tweaked code on enemy parent object

minor variable tweaks to balance spells



for a proper demo i still need at least the first boss and 3 more H enemies and cgs for them

i also need the design for the final boss, as she shows up in the intro
oh and music/sfx...currently got none of that

Not going to lie, I had a lot of fun just messing around with that spinner super jump spell xD It didn't really look like it was designed as a way to get around (based on the level design), but with some careful design I think you could definitely pull off a very entertaining platformer based on that spell alone!

I had a few problems with variables being set strangely blocking my progress (took 6 or 7 restarts to get to the part of the demo with humanoid enemies?), but I suspect that's just a byproduct of the nature of the demo.

At this point, I'm not even that interested in the H content, I'm more looking forward to hopping around more environments with that silly jump spell xD Very well done so far, definitely looking forward to the finished product!

i personally like using it to surf over hazards

also...you have no idea how happy i am to hear that


the bouncy spell is actually the last one you get which is why the the level design doesnt really reflect it, though after getting it some routes will be blocked off while you try to get back to the beginning

i'll probably do a dedicated demo obstacle course for playing about with the wind spell

ughhhh that was a waste of 4 hours... game makers in built save system was throwing an error at me (because it was failing to load important global variables) and thought it had to divide by 0...so, i tried to make an ini save method...and after hours of tweaking with it clashing with everything the original game maker system decided to work after all...


i've almost designed up to the first boss now... though i still need the sprites and grapples for everything that uses them before im ready to make a new demo

They're right: games with no H don't go in H-games. And how can you have the balls to insult others for "not paying attention" when you give no indication, and no reason to suffer through your prattle, when they don't even care about your game.

Sprites not as detailed as I'd prefer to fap to, but like how it's coming along so far. Perfect if you want to keep the hentai out, but I'd like to see Rika a bit more detailed and refined in a hentai game. Nice work again, Azure!
