I don't even need to look at CG, play a demo, or read up on the story. If it's made by Cupid Ice, I'm already sold. But man, there is going to be a ton of female characters. I wonder how long it will take them to complete this game and if it's going to be as epic in size as RoF.

Finally got some update. This seems forever to me...

- Added some H-events, monster CGs, ero (happening?) CGs.
- Added 3 new female characters.

Edit: First impressions, it plays like Persona(or Sexona in this case), mixing both the 1st one's monster socializing and the 3rd/4th's strict time schedule and party social aspects. Also seems to have a social link system, though it's called Community Level and don't know if it extends to individuals.

P. Link were called community in the jp version of Persona 3&4 so yeah it's an obvious reference.
The MC has extra stats (wisdom, courage, etc) you can level by spending time in the afternoon, there's a pseudo Velvet room, you have a certain amount of time to rescue people from that Tartaros-like tower whose floor unlock bit by bit.
The only thing that seems to be missing is monster fusion but that might come in later, trial's stopping very early after all.

Well... What do we have here? I have been imprisoning myself more than 2 years with Persona 3 and 4, and now Persona H-version just appeared like this...

Mid-battle convince monster to have sex. Convince party members to have sex in real world. One confirmed tentacle scene in demo.

Also could we put Pornsona or Persona H into the thread title since that would both awesome and informative.

I'm on the fence with the title thing. Part of me says no, since while they are parodying a lot from Persona it's not essentially a Persona parody game.

But on the other hand, I've counted Pixie and Kodama amongst the monsters so far....now if a Lilim or Hua Po pops up in the game I'll support the idea but until a character or monster that screams Persona appears I can't.

In other news....this is going to be one hell of a time consuming game. non-rpg players, this is your warning now.....just don't bother playing. You WILL get stuck, you WILL bother the hell out of the people actually playing the game, you WON'T get anything like a walkthrough or a full save for at least a month or so after game is released.

This is one of those games where a partial or full translation will help tremendously.

The best part of this so far is the artist really stepped up his game. As good as Romance of Fantasy was I always felt that the characters' faces seemed too rounded. Always put me a bit off.

Also the Pornsona is more so that people understand what it is they are getting into. We've seen plenty of HRPG's that copy DQ or FF, but this is the first I've seen that rips game mechanics from the Persona games.

There are others, but they infused them with other mechanics as well. There was one....Tokyo...something, that had the same monster mechanics as Persona and was based in a modern Tokyo (as if that wasn't obvious). But the monsters themselves wasn't Persona based.

But again, it comes down to whether or not it is an without a doubt parody and mechanics alone doesn't justify it (edit: actually that's stupid now that I think about it, if it's 100% mechanics from Persona then it's also a parody). If Alice shows up though, I'll hack the forum and change the name myself (joking)......also Pornsona is a crappy name sounds like something the dev of Bonetown would come up with. "Persona pardoy" or "Persona H" will do. ^^

New update on the blog. Says they are looking at a mid-October release now as they finish recovery of the CG they lost in February and bugs they noticed in the trial. Possible caveat for an early-October release.

I was really looking for the game released early September and was wondering wth is going on!

Ahhhhhh... on the other hand if the game is gonna have more Cg's with less bugs I guess I can endure another month... but they better not say mid October, "Sry guys.... its January 2016!"

There's no new blog post or anything and they haven't changed the mid-October predicted launch date yet, so hopefully it is just a few days late.
