Sonja was able to land a blow on this wasp that saw fit to attack her. The problem was that the sheer size of the wasp was too great for Sonja to deflect its charge toward her. Though it seemed that her armor got the best of it, the wasp was able to find an opening and grazed her with the poison coming from the stinger. Sonja and the wasp were both sent reeling after the impact from each side had occured.

The wasp seemed to get the worst of it, as it was still struggling to right itself while Sonja picked herself back up off the ground. It seemed that the poison was starting to affect her, though not for long. It was enough to stop Sonja from simply being able to finish off the wasp before it had recovered itself.

From the looks of it, Sonja and this wasp were going to have another go at it. Except this time Sonja would attempt to charge the wasp before it could build up another head of steam and slam into her again.

Fiera chuckles, and looks back to Amber, rolling her eyes amusedly before lifting her up onto her back and carting the mostly naked woman into the clearing. Once there, she got to see Sonja doing battle with the wasp. Looked like Sonja was winning.

"Get em Sonja! And if he paralysis you, I'll use my magic! OR throw Amber! Oh wait... Amber, quick, save the bacon!" She sets her down, and drops into a crouch, staring out. It occurred to her that she was even more naked than Amber was at that moment. Oh well.

It was all over for the bug and with one final swing the insects life was ended. Meanwhile Amber scrambled away as Feira dropped her. Instead of heading for the food Amber moved to her pack and began digging threw it. This of course left the food to cook on its own. Thankfully Amber's nature needs happened rather soon into the cooking which means the meat was yet to be fully cooked.

With Amber getting dressed Sonja and Feira had a chance to look around at the camp and the damage wrought. It was clear that they had stumbled into the hunting grounds of the giant wasps.

Sonja made sure that the wasp never had a chance to recover from the first go around. That it even hit her in the first place had angered Sonja mightily. Giving one more good whack after the wasp was defeated for good measure, Sonja would set about trying to refit her armor.

Once that was done, Sonja would start to look about and realize that this was just the start of it. Apparently Fiera and Amber went and wandered off into an area highly populated by wasps. Looks like Sonja is gonna get to smash some more of these things in the near future.

(I will be semi unavailable for the next week. Will be on a cruise ship and likely only able to make replies when we are in port. I do not quite trust their claims that the boats themselves have some kind of wi-fi on them.)

Fiera grinned as Sonja finished flattening the Wasp. "Nice shot, Sonja! Atta girl. Amber? Oh.. Fiiine, you can get clothed first, sheesh. I don't know what the big fuss is, it's like you're ashamed or something. You're a beautiful young lady, outta be showing off and making the men beg and the woman envious haha!"

She shrugs then starts to go hunt for her clothing and stuff. Alright, wheres my stuff... We should eat quick, I think we might have more bugs coming soon. And as liberating as it is to go about in the nude again, I want a chair to read my new books in. And last time I used Sonja as a chair she kept getting grabby hands. Although..."

Fiera peers at Amber, looking her over before shaking her head. Mmm, nah, still the wasp issue. Better wait on it. How far til we get to this noble lady of yours?"

Almost ignoring the other two, or more precisely Fiera for the time being. Sonja set about unhooking her top armor to see just what was wrong with it. Now topless herself, Sonja was distracted as her eyes wander by Amber.

"Never really bothered me.." Sonja would quip toward the other two when Fiera made the remark about running around in the nude.

Barring nothing being too greatly damaged, Sonja would go about fixing her armor and put it back on when she was done.

Amber now fully clothed and cleaned thanks to another shirt seemed to relax a bit. "She's not too far now maybe another couple hours of walking. I wonder if we can get some extra money for telling her of the infestation of her lands." Moving the thief tended to the meat as it finished cooking. It would be ready soon.

Meanwhile Sonja examined her armor the chill morning wind causing her nipples to stiffen. The damage was't to bad and would be an easy fix though she would need access to a forge for it to be a proper one. She could easily pound the metal back so it wouldn't be uncomfortable to wear.

Sonja sighed a bit after she was able to look at her top. A hinge looks to have come loose. Certainly not the worst thing that could happen, but it also meant that she would need proper forge gear to fully repair her top.

A quick breeze passes through as Sonja starts to field repair her armor to a point that is useable. Sonja was pretty visibly starting to stiffen up a bit and her breasts had responded the most obviously as her nipples looked like they were ready for a good sucking on.

Once Sonja had adjusted her armor to a point that was comfortable, she would fasten it back in place over her now slightly stimulated chest. It looked as if Amber was finishing the preparations on whatever it was that they were about to be eating.

"Ooo, good idea. More money, mwahaha! Then we can get you fancier clothes! I bet you'd look good in a nice red scarf!," grins Fiera as she moves behind Amber and gives her a snuggle hug from behind quickly then let's go.

"Right! Forgot my clothes aga- Oh there they are!" She wandered over and started slipping into them, adjusting her clothes. "Beating up bugs. Man, I'm gonna have to eat again tonight probably. Well if we're hitting a town I'm sure I can find something before we're run out of it again or something..."

She moved over then besides Sonja and dropped into a crouch and stared at the meat. Watching intently. "Don't you do it campfire. Don't you steal my food or I'll eatcha...," she muttered under her breath.

Amber tensed a moment before relaxing almost accepting the hug from Fiera. Still with the demoness getting dressed and Sonja having made repairs to her armor the duo only had to wait for the buxom woman to finish cooking. It didn't take much longer and soon after a little bit of clean up after eating the trio went about their way.

After an hour or so tell tale signs of a settlement began to show themselves, wisps of smoke in the distance the sound of wood cutters plying their trade even the loud cries of cows echoed threw the rapidly thinning trees. Of course Amber kept mostly silent during the trek making sure they stayed on course letting Sonja and Feira banter as much as they wanted. Eventually after another half hour of walking the settlement made its appearance. To say that it was rustic would be an understatement. The whole place looked little more than a small village that suddenly became a refugee camp. Though to be fair it seemed that at lest at this town the people were slowly integrating into the village. Signs of new houses being built were every where though so was the filth. "My employer is up at the manor in the village proper. Ill show you the way." Heading in from the outskirts Fiera and Sonja noted that the whole town seemed bursting with activity. Work gangs crowded several men standing on a cart shouting out labor positions while a few fair new prostitutes eyed the girls jealously from their corners or from taverns. Following Amber she soon lead them threw the small industrial section of the village which consisted of a single blacksmith, a carpenter, as well as a few other businesses that seemed closed for the moment. As they moved on a lot of people eyed Feira with a measure of suspicion but given her armed company she was left unaccosted. Eventually they made their way to a the gates of a sprawling manner house were two guards stopped them. The biggest one spoke up in a bored voice while looking at the ground only looking up mid way threw his memorized greeting. "Halt state your business and.... your ... what the hell is that!" Looking straight at Fiera the guard fumbled a moment reaching for his blade before realizing he wasn't under attack and calming a moment. "She is my companion Fiera and her body guard Sonja. I am Treasure hunter Amber your mistress is expecting me." The guard stared a moment before jostling his clearly sleeping partner awake. He had much the same reaction though he seemed more enthralled than scared. The biggest guard however sent him on his way up to the manor making the girls wait.

Fiera ate happily, nomming down her meat eagerly.

As they began to move into the settlement, Fiera was happily humming and prodding various trees to see if they were "ripe." She declined to explain if asked. Once in town, she blinked in surprise as she walked with Amber.

It seemed a filthy overpopulated place in the midst of recovering from something. Probably the alien invasion, though perhaps the wasps. Or both. Or an enormous fire breathing cow. She should get one of those.

Plenty of people were staring at her. Not unusual, they had never seen such magnificent nobility, surely. Prostitutes looking at her jealously also wasn't new. Not everyone could rock the immolated head look like she could.

Finally though they reached the target. A fine noble house. They could get Amber's pay, and she could hobnob with fellow nobility! And maybe get more riches. Nice place though overall. The guard was jumpy though. The other's reaction was far more suited to one of her splendor.

Still, she disliked being made to wait. Plus she was called Amber's companion and that was quite backwards. "Amber, you said it wrong. You're supposed to say this is Lady Fiera, I am her chef slash trap expert Amber and this is her bodyguard and occasional doorstop Sonja.," whispers Fiera into Amber's ear, "I'll forgive you cus you're new to this but try to practice okay? We also need to get you some new lovely clothes. Those ones got melted wasp eyes on em. The jerks. Melting on some poor maiden..."

After their meal was finally done, the trio were able to set out again toward the place Amber had mentioned. As the whole group apparently was beset upon by wasps, Sonja was keeping her eye out for them as they were travelling. Every time Fiera would poke a tree, Sonja would get a little jumpy just waiting for another wasp to try to attack. Why Fiera was poking the trees? Only she knows why, and Sonja of all people knew not to bother asking.

What felt like about an hour or maybe two would pass as the group travelled. The beginnings of civilization would be seen, though thats really about it. Just about everything Sonja would see would say that this place was not where she wanted to be right now, or ever for that matter. This choice was not her's however, and the thoughts of all the menial tasks that would be thrown her way were not all that welcomed.

Having just thrashed a wasp fairly soundly a few hours ago, her want for battle was still coursing through her. Hopefully she would be able to cave in a few more skulls before Fiera and Amber went about doing whatever it was that they were doing.

It wasn't long before the guard returned and informed them that the Master of the house would see them. Having something to do now Amber quickly moved to follow the guard. Sonja meanwhile itched for a fight and with all the waiting going on she could hardly miss the bounty board near the guards. It read....

His honorable and right Lord of Fairfeild has decreed that a bounty of 10 denari shall be awarded per bandit scalp. Only approved hunters may claim bounty. Please see the Captain of the guard to apply.​

Meanwhile Fiera saw Amber move quickly after the guard her but swaying ever so tastily as she moved quickly. No wonder her previous companions wanted to sell her. She would make a lovely concubine or pleasure slave. Still she was rather rude not even giving her mistress a proper yes mam. Maybe she would have to work on her with that?

Semi trusting Fiera not to get herself into too much trouble with Amber, Sonja decided long ago that meetings involving royalty were simply not her place. That was Fiera's world and Sonja would have as little to do with it as possible.

Essentially left to her own devices for the time being, Sonja would try to scratch the itch that the rather unfulfilling skirmish with the wasp had left for her. A town that seemed to be this dysfunctional had to have some use for a person who could just bust some heads. Within a few moments, Sonja found her answer in the way of a posted bounty board.

"Typical.. A place this run down would of course have bandits raiding it."

Sonja now had two things on her menu. Find a proper forge around there parts were one to actually exist, and find the captain of the guard. As much as her armor was still serviceable in its current condition, it was just annoying to have to deal with the little creeks from the metal being out of place.

Fiera happily ogled as she followed Amber inside. She had such an excellent body. She'd love to show her all the fun things she could do with it. How to be confident and use it. But for now, they had job to do. The training would come soon enough.

And Sonja... Wait, where the heck did she get to now?! Ah fiddlesticks. This was gonna be awkward. Well... She'd have to manage she supposed. Again. She had to train Amber to be more devoted than her last attempt clearly.

Sonja would look to the board and nod to herself. Bandits were easy enough to deal with. She would of course have to find the guard captain but first she would tend to her armor. Vaguely she recalled seeing a smith as they walked threw town. More than likely he had access to a forge and no doubt was the person who tended to the guards armor so he probably knew where the captain would be as well. Two birds with one stone. Heading to the smith she found a rather burly man a greasy wiry black beard working at his anvil. It seemed he was making a sword. In between hammer falls he would speak. "If your looking for stock check around back my wife runs that part of the business.

Meanwhile Amber and Fiera made it to the mansion after passing several well kept gardens. Looking about Fiera noted several of the staff who all were female wore rather scandalous clothing. A tall regal stern woman looked over a couple girls who fidgeted and blushed at their attire. She seemed to be scolding them and her hand strayed to a leather whip. As they turned the corner threw a hedge wall a tell tale crack could be heard as well as a muffled cry. This caused Amber to shudder a little be it out of sympathy or fear it was hard to tell. Once they passed the Gardens they were brought to a small picnic area and told to wait. Once here Amber took out the golden telescope and set it down cleaning it up a bit. "Good not a dent just a little dirt. My ticket out of here is as good as new!"

Nice place. It was actually making her a little home sick. Even the servants and head servants seemed kinda familiar. Now how she'd do it mind. What benefit was there to damaging your own property? Tch.

Once they were in the picnic area, she sat beside Amber on the table, humming to herself. Once Amber spoke up, she looked at her curiously. "Ticket out of here? Are you one of her servants actually? Is that why you got whipped? Aw..." She promptly hugged and nussled Amber, though being uncharacteristically careful of her hair. "A nice good servant like you shouldn't be hit. This place reminds me of home. In a lot of the good ways. And the bad. I'd never whip my servants, unless they were trying to hurt someone I don't want them to and wouldn't stop. So you wanna way cus whippings right?"

Maybe she misunderstood. Or maybe not. Either way she'd have to see about getting a place like this of her own some time. Lot's of sexy sexy lad- No, no, she's a FIRE demon, not a succubus! Bad Fiera! But she waaaanted them.. No. You did all that already, stop repeating yourself! And arguing with yourself, it makes you look crazy, mom told you so!

Sonja would try to retrace her steps back to what she thought was a smithy. Low and behold it looked as if there was someone there, though a bit dismissive of Sonja. Seems he was working on a sword and not wanting to be bothered. At least he directed Sonja around to the other side of the place where his wife was. Maybe she would be a little more outgoing to a potential customer.

Not really knowing what to expect while she goes around to the back to see the smith's wife, Sonja would at least try to get two things done. See if she knew where the captain of the guard could be found, and see if there was something that could be done so that Sonja could properly fix her armor and not have to deal with those annoying little straps dangling about.

As Sonja rounded the corner of the building she saw a very thin woman in a dirty apron polishing a stack of shields. "Why hello there can I help you?" Asking her questions caused the woman to pause a moment a look of deep thought crossing her features. "Well I suppose you could use the forge for a nominal fee of course, but my husband will be busy most of the afternoon. As for the captain he can usally be found in the bar when not on duty." She frowns "A deceitful bitter bully of a man. He spends his time gambling and carousing."

Meanwhile Amber stiffened at Fiera's touch unsure how to deal with the suddenly very affectionate demoness. Still seeing that she had yet to be molested by the demon she relaxed slightly her body resting against Fiera slightly. "I-Its to pay off a debt. I tried to steal some a few baubles from this place and got caught. After.. my punishment they told me I had two choices. I could join the staff permanently or work off my debt. I chose the latter." Any other thoughts on the matter had to wait as a man coughed drawing attention to himself. "Mind telling me who this... creature is Amber?" Jumping the girl spoke up immediately telling the whole encounter with Fiera. "I see so my men were killed by a slime in the ruins that in turn was killed by you?" The man looked right at Fiera and it wasn't a nice look at all.

"The captain wouldnt happen to be found at the bar when he is on duty as well?" Sonja would retort. An obvious air of sarcasm behind her words.

"How much would it cost for me to work my armor back into shape?" Sonja would ask this as she flips around the loose straps that need to be worked back into place to make her point. The repair work would likely not take much time at all once she were able to gain access to the proper tools.

Having a few denarii to herself still, this would hopefully be enough to get her armor refitted and stick around the bar long enough for the captain to show up. As the bar would be her next destination once she was done with her armor. How that would all work out once she got there, who knows.
