Lust/alert rating is irrelevant for the 5th ending.

I recall one of the rooms gives a hint to the player on what to do next. I can't remember which floor is on, but since you're stuck it's worth visiting the room to see what they have to say.

I've overwritten your save, since you had the key you should have no problems with the door and following the instructions in the guide.

Since you've saved the blacksmith, don't forget to take back the rope you used to lower yourself down since there's nothing down there to leave a perfectly good rope hanging.

I strongly suggest you get a copy of the game that's at least v1.02, otherwise the save I've given you won't work. From the Dlsite page:

1.01　2F南東の部屋に鍵を開けても入れない不具合を修正。

Since you can't open the door despite having the key in your game, I'm 99% sure you have version 1.0.

Thanks, greatly appreciated. The version I got was supposed to be 1.05. Also, I do not see/could not get a 2nd rope per Master Etigoya`s guide.

2. Go to the room where you needed to lower the ladder to go down to the blacksmith. Reclaim the ladder.
3. Go back to the SE door which my save should have left you outside of.
4. Interact with the door. If it doesn't help, then you got scammed somehow since I have no problems with your save opening the door. My game version is 1.02.

Seems there has been a change with 1.05. I didn`t realize you can use the ladder to blacksmith to get 2nd rope. Now that I have it, I got a new key, the mysterious key from king`s room. I am now able to enter and get clue 4, then went to maid to get clue 5.

Seems there has been a change with 1.05. I didn`t realize you can use the ladder to blacksmith to get 2nd rope. Now that I have it, I got a new key, the mysterious key from king`s room. I am now able to enter and get clue 4, then went to maid to get clue 5.

Etigoya's guides are badly written, but that was basically what he meant when talking about a "2nd rope". In addition, I didn't need the key in the king's room to access the SE room but as you said that might be a chance enforced in later versions.

I kept thinking it was the rope graphics in the NW corner of the weapon storge XD

Now I am having trouble triggering that rune circle behind the king`s throne in his room. Do I need to trigger the trap circle first?
Nevermind, I can just go East from the sewers after getting note 5.

ver 2.1 is latest but currently the trial is version 3.0? According to dlsite. nyaa doesnt seem to have version 2 though.
