found this game a very small quick game at 1.4mb with 12cg

This is a super-lite, super short dot pixel RPG inspired by Taimanin As*gi.
Escape the strange facility! Play time is about 20 minutes.
Artwork was created from scratch and includes hardcore ero scenes.

* STORY
As*gi woke up in a dark room.
Her weapons were gone, but she was not locked in, nor was she tied.
It was odd, like someone WANTED her to try and run...

* SYSTEM
Explore and escape from 3 areas, each with a strong boss.
You might lose to the boss but each failure will produce a hint.
Rather than restart the game, remember the hints, take the bad ending
and on your second playthrough you'll do fine.

Scene selection is unlocked after you clear all 3 areas.

Character: As*gi Ig*wa
Event CGs: 3 base, 12 total
Size: 1.4MB

When you get to the second floor, go to the hallway with the robot - you can't proceed. The manual on the desk nearby says something about how you can't approach it without a keycard (that you use on the terminal just above the manual). The keycard is on another terminal in a room to the NW. After you get that, read the manual again - it should say something different. Try a couple times; the message is a lot shorter than the previous one. It says something about a locker. Go to the locker in the same room in the NE; it'll give you another keycard. Go to the terminal - there should be three options. Bottom one first, then hit it again and use the middle option. This should make the boss beatable.

It's a bit tricky because you can't get the second keycard before you get the first, but if you use the first keycard you can't use the second... trapping you into a forced reload as far as I can tell.

I'm surprised that the lawsuit-happy lilith-soft hasn't sued the shit out of this author yet.

They've got a whole bunch of rpgmaker lilith games, so they probably have permission/are associated.

I'm pretty sure this falls under parody area .- . and frankly companies in Japan seem to not care that much about regulating those, usually it's either:
1. Free publicity (then again usually it's already a hit if there's doujins en mass)
2. THE FLOOD OF THEM ALL

Case in point for both of those: KanColle and Touhou.

Of course not to say there's no dmca ever (I remember a pokemon doujin's author got a letter from Nintendo due to the content of said doujin) but suing every single doujin ever have its own drawback.
1. You have to put resources into hiring lawyer, meaning less resources to put into your game.
2. There's a chance the court will rule it under parody and you lose the case instead.

Well, most doujin authors won't have the resource to really stand up to them in court (lawyers are expensive :v) so if a letter come most just goes 'ok ._ .' and drop it without a fight.

dont most things fly under the parody banner because theyre erotic though? i don't think it would work in the case of adult works because the original is also an adult work... i mean, i suppose if they make it comedic it might fly

Also, Toohou and KanColle wheren't created by big companies, and to my knowledge the creators of touhou are doushinji producers themselfs

Japanese law doesn't have anything specific regarding parody.

Technically the original copyright owners can go after derivative works and shut them down, but for the most part they don't give a fuck as long as it doesn't go too far.

Examples of going too far:
- Direct competition with official works.
- Easy to misinterpret as being an official work.
- Selling through major commercial outlets.
- Making too much money.

Hell, a lot of commercial artists started out by making this sort of thing, and some still do it even after going commercial. It'd be kinda hypocritical to shut people down for doing the exact same thing that got them started. Someone that comes straight to mind is Hiroe Rei, the author of Black Lagoon, who continues to release ero-doujins under the circle name Tex-Mex.
