This is hilarious, so apparently because I started day 2 instead of day 1, I and tons of others missed a bug (bugged card that was removed from inventory and replaced with the correct card) that was promptly fixed, it wasn't even a big fucking deal, everyone who started day 1 got 5 gold lottery tickets, ok... seems kind of unfair that they get a 5 overpowered items / R/SR card advantage but whatever, let's rock, I'm only 25$ behind on freemium.

Dev admits 5 gold lottery tickets "might" have been too much of an advantage, so what did they do? 30 days later, the players who started playing on day 1 reach the 30th login bonus, which for those who don't know, it's the fire SR card Riza, only they didn't get Riza, they got this card:

Long story short, that card was removed and shortly after, Riza replaced it on everyone's accounts, as a way to compensate those players from not getting their free stuff instantly, and having to wait a couple hours to get their card, they gave them another free 5 freaking gold lottery tickets worth 25$. Apparently we came too late again, one day.

So for heavily testing this game, helping tremendously in the beginning, advertising (read, shove the game down people's throats) and exhaustively testing the match system (which at the start was strictly composed by hrpgheaven members and we were breaking through the ranks when you couldn't play in there because there wasn't enough people high enough) among other stuff, what do we get? 10 gold lottery tickets behind everyone who started on day, if 5 was unfair, guess what 10 is? No wonder Rank 9 is full of players with Asklepios Staff.

"Make it up with the continuous log ins. Easily done. Then they do it again and slap in the face on anyone who started late". RIP everyone who didn't start on day 1 or didn't have the stupid luck to get Asklepios Staff with 1 ticket (happened) but in case you didn't, hope you started on day 1 for 10 free attempts!

Really? I mean really?! I threw 50$ at this game and I don't have an Asklepios staff. so your statement is already invalid. And I guess you should probably have started on day 1 then. I started on day 3 and I am not complaining. Don't complain just because you don't get free stuff.

Are you going to complain because you didn't with the character contest next? I'd appreciate if you take your hate elsewhere. This is a place to discuss the game, not how you didn't get some handouts. You have a issue with the way they handled it, then send em a tweet, or pm here.

First of all, no one's hating.

Second of all, no one's complaining because I didn't get anything, I'm complaining because others were given such an unfair advantage through ridiculous amount of "compensation". Why do Devs say 5 gold lottery tickets was too much and then do the same thing again? That's just stupid.

Again, taken from Devs: "5 gold lottery probably was too much" so, do it again? Where do we stand? So in 15 days they're going to get 5 gold lottery tickets again? Trying to remain competitive without beating the game with my wallet like some people *WINK WINK* QUOTE *WINK WINK* do, just saying.

Third of all, I'm just surprised at the amount of people in Rank 9 with Asklepios, not that it's relevant because if you had two digit IQ's you can beat them with Valkyries alone by now.

Finally, is it just me or the devs made this thread for discussing the game? Did you make the thread? No? Then that's what I'm doing, discussing the game.

I agree, 5 Gold for each bug is too much. You are getting 25$ Worth of Items with each new found bug, thats insane.
Most games would be extremely stingy about this. You're lucky if you get something.

I got the 10 free gold from the two bugs, that gives me a huge advantage over the newer players.
I'm still keeping my gold, so the difference is not that great at the moment, but I could use it to get a boost.

1 or 2 Gold for each bug seems more reasonable. I had to wait 14 Hours until my Riza got fixed, thats just not worth 5 gold.

I mean, I'm still happy that I got them, but I can see that its not fair for other players.

You made your post very personal. Just re read the part I quoted. you clearly indicated that YOU missed out and were 25$ behind in freemium.

You also are not discussing any content within the game. You are personally complaining that your are behind in free ticket compensation. This has NOTHING to do with game mechanics, Valk stats or pretty much anything that is content for the game.

If you want to discuss mechanics go right ahead. You want to ball like a girl with a skinned knee, prepare to get called out on it.

Again, I was just showcasing a scenario that is common to a lot of people, common sense, missy, you would go a long way with some.

Most of the stuff you said is just sugar picking a scenario that fits your argument, I refuse to argue with fallacy, it's like arguing with a brick wall, I could easily stated "I posted this for a dev to read and reply if he wanted, I didn't want a reply from you", it's as valid as all the crap you've said so far, who the hell are you to call me out on anything, do I know you? Did I ask you anything? I rest my case.

yes i know that you can always spennd money on the game to keep your rank. but his argument is valid.

devs shouldnt have given 5 gold tickets. 1 ticket for each card during the original bug was enough. and giving the correct card during the 30 days

The tickets are all about luck, it's not like they give out coins, even with a 100 tickets u may still get shitty things xD

I think it's really kind of the devs, 5 (or 10) Gold tickets are pretty much.
The game is new and yes, maybe it's a little but unfair against the newer players, but... why complaining about this? grant them their luck. :)

In regard to the free lottery gold for the broken card:

That was something done by SmileMaker (the Japanese dev). They're extremely sensitive about tinkering with people's card sets. When they have to change/remove/modify a card, particularly one that people have worked hard to get (like the thirty-day login bonus card) they usually give out some gold as an apology to the people who are affected.

The five gold on day 1 caused a bit of a problem because it created a bit of a power gulf in a tiny playerbase. Now the number of players is about a thousand times larger and the vast majority have earned quite a bit of gold from references, login proofs, etc.

While it might be frustrating to miss out on that generosity by one day, you can also be comforted by the fact that SmileMaker isn't going to arbitrarily mess with your cards and will literally give you cash as an apology when it must do so.

that....actually explains everything....
sadly japanesse are very sensitive with these sort of things (wich shouldnt be it makes people expect things like that) however i would be carefull with that.

you dont want a comunity like the one Brave Frontier got with people expencting Gems for every error the game developers make (some of wich are stupid and shouldnt be felt sorry for)

I freaking knew it deep inside. Well, that kinda sorts it out, well at least they're "protecting" their game instead of letting you guys make those decisions, which makes me ask, other than publishing the game... what do you guys do? Report to Japanese actual devs?

Nutaku, how close are we to release on some way to use gold? I'm at nearly 2 mil, and it just seems like a pointless currency at the moment. I've heard people talking about investigations, and that sounds promising.

Also, the highest level players are already working on what is currently end-game content. That's only going to satisfy us for so long. When you already have the best equipment and the best cards its hard to stay motivated to keep grinding away.

Is it just me, or does the game have a serious one-track mind with mega boss spawns? They always seem to come in clusters. Yesterday there were 4 dreadnaughts at once. Right now there are 3 fire glimmers. What are the odds of this ALWAYS being a coincidence. It makes me wanna save stamina/force for when a dreadnaught spawns and then try to bait out one of my own.

Meh... this is pure luck.
As for the rank 9, it's no big deal, I hardly get beaten on it xD at least now at first it was quite hard to beat the guys in it xD
