you know the class is perferably called Gadabout, refering to DQ
though it's easier to be called clown (since clowning is pretty much it does)

Does anyone know who initiates the mythril quest? It's not the high San ilia priest, nor any of the guys near him and not the blacksmith(synthesizer guy) I'm out of ideas.:(

and how do I start that one? I cleared the library, recruited page 65537 and I know someone has to ask me to do guard duty from what I read here and there but no one seems to do so. I think I talked to everyone in San Ilia and in the village but the guy that's blocking the tunnel in the forest next to the village won't move.

once your in the village you need to talk to the priest, the one in the church (west side just south of what I'm assuming is a ether a lumberyard or a house under construction)not the one in the house on the hill(east).

EDIT

after you recruit the king permanently you can visit the small lab in the castle, there you can get the gunner(or gunslinger if you prefer) class and while you talk to one of the researchers Promestein mentions that she would like to visit the the cave in the village again(it's even added to the bulletin broad these side quest usually have nice rewards like Aimras gives you items or the cactus-girls very short quest she gets a fire resistance type passive skill a extremely useful skill for a plant monster to have)

So, I just started with the Patch Dargoth posted. Is there any real difference between choosing Illias and Alice?

As far as I know the story stays the same, though you do get different scenes. For example the White Rabbit reacts differently, but you still meet her at the same locations. So I wouldn't say there is a real difference, no.

I almost got all basic jobs unlocked now (thanks Sarpe666), only the fortuneteller is missing. Where do I get the Hard Grow Wrist? Got Grow, Job and Hard Job Wrist, only the Hard Grow one is missing.

you don't have to kill the dancing zombies but you might have to talk to them. or you might just need to get Chrome away from the mansion because the mimic seems quite happy that Chrome wasn't there.

Trust me you have to get rid of them, I tried talking to the mimic after I recruited Chrome and didn't get the permit. I only got it after I killed the 5 dancing zombies that I forgot about.
And talking to the priest still does nothing the guard won't get out of my way I know I'm missing a step between defeating Cornelia(page boss) and starting this quest. Something similar happened when I needed to go for Selene's bell. After talking to the sailor you leave town and you set camp. After that I thought you have to go directly to the treasure cave but it turns out you have to talk to the sailor again after the camping scene. So I'm guessing it's the same in this case but I can't figure out what I skipped.

@An Anonymus

Dude will you knock it off already, I went through this thread before I could post due to the fact that my acc wasn't activated, every one of your posts is whining and complaining and you contributed nothing to this thread at all if you so dislike the game and what it stands for just quit coming here no one is forcing you to post here. As for battlefucking I'll call it whatever I want regardless of your knowledge on what actually battlefucking is. I don't care to be honest that's what the game says it is that's what we'll call it.

no... i didn't kill the zombies and the mimic still gave me the item, it's supposed to kill a certain mimic in the mansion (i think the one at left corner)in order to get rewarded.
for the escort king quest you have to talk to the priest in that villiage first then head off to the cave

I agree, if you don't like this game stop coming here and talk shit about it

i personally love the part. 1, RPG gives you a freedom that ADV don't have, the recruiting system is great
and the storyline is excellent, even with a playthrough of first game, paradox still give you tons of surprises, it's like you know what people you're going to meet, but never expect how events turn out, the ending of part 1 really draws from despair back to hope, and can't wait for part. 2

Re: Monster Girl Quest: Paradox

you know what this game amaze me the most is the details
EVERY playable character have dialogues with unimportant npcs from everywhere, between the party they have their own dialogues when facing their relative species, friends or some that you wouldn't expect, and each have their unique goof-off scene with gadabout class.
it's like really is giving life to every character they created, they really have put effort in this game.

also when you make 'gluttonous' people like Alice or Eva into cooking class, sometimes they will instantly eat the dishes made (so you wouldn't get the dish item when battle ends)

and of course tons of netas to be found (that hentai guy Ch〇r Azn〇ble, p〇werp〇ff g〇rls summoning doll, v〇cal〇id class etc.)

It's called "battle fucking" and they are "battle fuckers." It's a contest. If you lose, you give them gold. If you win, you get a rare item. The original Japanese text calls it "battle fucking."

I seriously do not understand the moral hang up of sex fighting for rare loot in a game where defeat means being raped to death by some eldritch horror.

Also, where do you get the "romance novel" to recruit the book monster at the bottom of the library? Is it a reward from one of the other book monsters?

Beat that nun battlefucker in San Ilia (or whatever that town is called, the one with the pope in it). She should be in a house in the top left.

Re: Monster Girl Quest: Paradox

Anyone have a good and fast strategy for killing the Honey pot mimic and the mobs at the entrance of the 3rd tartarus, I finished the main storyline and now I wanna farm small medals and master jobs.
