Re: The Last Sovereign [Updated 10/9]

Hahahahaha, I like the shoutout to the old title.

True story, the name originally soured my interest in the game - I thought it was going to be Yet Another Corny English HRPG and skipped it. Boy, was that a mistake...

Meh, I'm entering my bunker on the tenth and I don't see myself leaving any time soon. :)

I'll get around to trying this out eventually.

Also, you're "fucklord" screenshot got a chuckle out of me.
Too bad about the timing, but it'll be here for you when you're out. Maybe with another update, depending on when you emerge. ^-^

You're not the only one, which is the reason I changed the title. But I still think it's hilarious, so I'm happy to use it in a different context where it hopefully won't be a stumbling block for anyone.

That was exactly the same reaction i had, and I had the exact same conversation with someone else about the "Overwhored" game. (Note to self: play that one day) a lot of the English games have really corny names.

Like... the authors think that they gotta slip a bit of vulgarity into the title to make sure everybody knows what it is.

attacking draconic succubus during the hunt results in a never ending text bug. you're supposed to be able to run away from her but in some spots you can't

It's actually because she was set to trigger by touch with player, combined with the fact that she designed to chase after you, i think?, it results in a never ending event.
If you hold shift and running toward another direction while keep confirming her speech, you'll eventually escape, just don't let her touch you again.

I think this can be solved by making her to stop moving after she's defeated.

Re: The Last Sovereign [Updated 11/13]

It was really nice seeing all those Kings there. You're really not anywhere close to putting an end to this game are you? :p

I wonder if Ginasta has another shard which makes her so powerful, that or she might have to do something with Ivala?

I can't remember if I got all the sex scenes though, there was probably alot of missable things in this version, but atleast I completed the optional quest.

In any case, I liked this route because opened up the world of the game a little bit, but my fav route is Aka's. Either way I can't wait for Simon's route.

Thanks! I don't know if I'm worthy of that, but I'll keep doing my best to deliver the best game I can.

Yes, the original version of her was bugged in a different way, and in trying to fix it I accidentally made her pursue you like this. For now, it's easy to avoid the bug by avoiding this succubus, and when I put out a new version it will be fixed.

Well, you definitely shouldn't expect it to end in a few months. XD

Seriously, though, while I'm aiming to make a saga of a game here, it won't go forever. Now that Yarra's route is over, you've met all the major Incubus Kings, and I hope the Gathering made it clear that the plot won't continue as straightforwardly as taking them out one by one.

Can you promise to me that no remaining Incubus Kings will have such an anti-climactic conclusion about them, Sierra? (Don't worry I can let Skullcrusher's death slide. As an Incubus King he doesn't really intrigues me, heck even his room are lamer than BloodLord's room in my opinion.)

This may be a stretch, but i try to assign a major sin to each Incubus Kings:
1. Skullcrusher-Envy. Kinda stretching it, at how he devastated because his event gone awfully wrong.
2. Lustlord of Rodak-Pride. The dialogs between him and the Unbreakable-Willed Woman.
3. Incubus King of Arclent-Wrath. Kinda stretching it, at how he actually mad at everything not going his self-centered way.
4. Empress of Orgasmic Empire-Greed. She aims to own stronger powers and influences quite greedily.
5. Lord of Blood-Gluttony. Based by the conversation with his room guard, that this Incubus King like TAKING everything but not OWNING them.
6. Anak of Philon-Sloth. Kinda stretching it, i think he's the type to rely more on his subordinate regarding complicated matters.
7. Fucklord of Erosia-Lust. Frankly all Incubus King fell within this. Incubus King of Arclent's sexual conducts were ridiculous, but this particular FUCKlord.. he got a twisted sexy understanding of sexual lust.

What do you guys think?

No promises! =P Really, though, all the characters are in the story for one reason or another, and I promise none of the reasons is to be anti-climactic.

The way I see it 7 is a bit too much. So it's natural that some may just die off, especially since I think that Simon already surpasses a few in power. I mean if the Empress and the Lustlord which are the strongest of the Kings couldn't sense it was him when they were so close to him then it makes sense. And it also makes me think that there is someone more powerful behind the scenes.

Oh and, we also have to get Ivala for our harem, right? Riiiiight? :p

Re: The Last Sovereign [Updated 11/13]

My speculation about Original Lustlord, Ivala, and some major background plots, don't read this if you don't even want to have any funny idea:

Please be informed that this is purely my theory without any validation.
Ivala to the Original Lustlord (The one who are believed to be at God level), is yin to a yang. You could say they're siblings. Their power counter each other. Their relationship is not bad, maybe even more than simply sibling .

With two balanced power of both corruption and purification, comes the third wheel. A god who govern Chaos (yeah it's cliche, i'm not as good as Sierra, okay?) who lust not for destruction nor purification, but disorder and confusion. Naturally, this god despise both Lustlord and Ivala, and the latter two understood that they need to stand to Chaos God.

The cliched grand battle enrages, as a being exist solely to destroy the balance between Lustlord and Ivala, The Chaos God's might rivals The Pair's (both Lustlord and Ivala). It clears that the battle conclusion can only be achieved with unorthodox way. And yeah, long story short the Chaos God is disintegrated but not killed, but in expense of disintegrated Lustlord, which Ivala keeps from truly gone by dividing The Lustlord existential essence and encasing it with her last remaining power to form mysterious surge of corruption's energy, which will be referred as Shard in the future.

This is all part of The Pair's plan, to truly erases Chaos God, by bit by bit scraping his power while he's disintegrated, giving it to mortal, and let that mortal dies along with the power fragment eternally separating it from the Chaos God. Yes, this is my speculation about the truth of the chosen, why all of them are assholes. Ivala deceives her follower saying that is her power, while in truth that's not the kind of power she grants (I think it should be more like Carina's) plus she's not recovered to her full power yet.

Then, after the Chaos God completely erased, The Pair's plan enters it second phase, where Ivala will begin resurrecting The Original Lustlord, that is by collecting all (or maybe just a right amount) Shard and let it be possessed by ONE right person, which will turn that person as a vassal for The Lustlord to possess and take over. This is my speculation of why despite the whole world in jeopardy (Thanks to the fact that with Lustlord disintegrated and Ivala not in her full power, the balance could not be maintained), she choose to remain passive. Yeah, it because she still have duty, to completely erases Chaos God's existance essence by creating even more "Chosen" to be eliminated.
Please excuse myself, i just unusually delighted by this work of greatness.

Pretty sure that's part of the story. Having the Empress and the Lustlord find you basically fails that quest. Though that can screw with some people's OCD, I wonder if it will remain red forever.

Yeah, i have yet actually play a game where a scripted-to-failed objectives are recorded for eternity in your statistics.

But as of now i'm sure that was intentional (the fact that Sierra actually left the objective as a failure, not suspending it or completely remove it from the journal).
Plot-wise it serve as the indication that the incident have more subtle impact to the characters.
