So, you could load up a game, load AGTH, and then get, like, the character dialogue in order from intro scene to scene 2 to scene 3 etc, all in order, without actually playing through those scenes?

Lord no. You'd have to decrypt the game file holding the text and read it out into the translator. You actually have to play the game to translate the text using AGTH.

But you could decrypt the game file, run the text through a machine translation, and reinsert it, so long as the game supports non-Asian characters and larger character limits in output. If the game has a limit on characters it can output at one time, then you'll have to do a lot more than just translate.

Yeah, that's how I thought it worked, which is why I didn't put much time into figuring out how to use them. I think I used them with a few RPG Maker games and then was just like "Well, it's easier to just extract the game data and translate it all myself before playing rather than use this for line-by-line translation."

Well I now know what these abbreviations I'm seeing, mean. Though I did know what RoR meant :p

I'm definitely a fan of RoR by a clear mile to all the others, with a female protagonist. As to why, well Honestly Iris action was the first game of this sort that I played and it caught me by surprise, though that is primarily GoR. After that, I started searching for more an game across parasite in City. And what can I say? It's a turn on. Animation is super important as well as diversity with moans. I've seen games with great animations with only one moan continuously happening. In that case, I'd much rather sex sound effects with no moan at all.

I dislike ugly/overly masculine guys in lewd things, and also in general dislike women being raped and degraded. Stuff with, er, cuter guys in more submissive roles are nice... or sometimes there's particular kinks that can make up for things I don't like >.>

I haven't really played a lot of H-Games. Monster girl quest was great and I don't think I need to say more than that >.<

I'm with MinamotoTerumi. Too many games with female protags actively TRY to make us hate the male antag. Either through ugliness, gross body or just an unlikable guy in general. Just once, I'd like a realistic handsome rogue of an antag. I'm also sick of "Thief becomes Thief Of Virtue" style characters.

I prefer female protags as a whole. I've yet to play a H-Game with a male protag that I actually give a shite about.

While Mary Sue itself is terrible concept, I think what XziebertX likes is when the perfect Mary Sue is humiliated & brought down by the lowly enemies. Off course if that happen, she is actually no longer fit in Mary Sue's description :p

I personally enjoy games that feature a neurotic living dildo with noodle arms and legs and PTSD who has to evade the constant pursuit of crazed lesbians with out-of-control libidos.

The talk of noodle arms made me think of reverse tentacle rape. Like some kind of tentacle monster who has to flee from lust-driven women.

well, for a quasi-serious reply (did enjoy the PTSD noodle-armed dildo comment though) in the (vain) hope some dev takes note...

Ideal protagonist should be:
female
* age 19-24ish
* reasonable proportioned!! (not fat, heavy, overly muscled, huge boobs, etc)
* Preferably 'girl next door' / athletic build
* B or C cup (considering the majority of the women in the world have 'B' and they are quite awesome)
* NOT STUPID!!! Innocent is fine, naive is fine - stupid is NOT
*... and Please, please, please for the good Lord's sake - no tattoos (unless it is a disable-able option)
* sexually curious (which is not the same as, "oh, a chainsaw - I wonder if I can fuck it?") instead of just "more embarressed than a new nun" and "uber slut"
* some (at least) willpower - not just smilingly accepting of whatever happens to her. I want some damn vengence for her!! =D And yes, I know some say that is cultural, but they must never have read history of what some of those 'wronged' women DID (and were heroines) especially in Asain cultures!

Ideal Game for her to BE in should allow:
* non-human sex (monster, alien, etc.)
* Both libido and corruption used in combination (people become more 'adventurous' when they're horny/frustrated!)
* Corruption should NOT mean incapable of having normal sex because she is a bit more 'experienced' (or even a LOT more)
* Clothing damage requiring repair (i.e. - not auto healed with health)
* Multiple outfits (doesn't have to be a huge amount - just some for variety)
* Once certain corruption reached, allow addition of 'battle fuck' type skills... first just for distracting the opponent rather than actually intending sex
* Instead of just 'Fight / Run' encounter option, add 'Seduce' after libido/Corruption rises (and perhaps not just single choice - seduction in stages but where she can then engage in combat if it is not to her liking or once she has tricked the opponent into droping his guard... or pants!)
* Options to take revenge on rapists!! (not even uber sluts like actual rape) Doesn't have to occur - just the option to 'make a list' or such and get them back.

There needs to be more games with female (or futa) protags against monster girls (or futa). I agree with pretty much everything that was said above as well. Monster girl quest always made me a bit sad...seeing that much effort and hype over a game where you play some 12 year old boy. I am well aware that (sadly) female/futa is a rare thing, but I find it surprising that shota is more popular than female/female in the game community.

I have a little bit of a hard time enjoying female protag games. I can do it, but its not as easy as a good male protagonist game.

I kinda prefer the types like Castle RePure Aria or some of the evade/stealth RPG-Maker games that are less BF and more avoiding getting grabbed.

There's a certain unique thrill to the male protagonist being on the other side of the rape, usually with some sort of negative consequence involved like the standard succubi life/soul-drain.

Though there is one thing I can't really stand. Monster Girl Quest kind of weaves two types of fetishes together. The "Assertive" woman yes, but also a really mean-spirited "naughty" talk. It's quite a turn off and I frequently feel as if I was in Luka's position, I'd end up getting ED the moment some of them opened their mouths.

But, with Monster Girl Quest being so definitive its almost like most the game designers think that trash-talking and dominance are one in the same. I would like more games where the succubi/monstergirls/demongirls just use straight up naughty naughty-talk.

eh, but female protagonist is very common right? futa protagonist is indeed rare though.

Or do you mean specifically in western market?

Female main character, innocent who gets corrupted, I like story sex above all others, I like different scenarios specially if they have different clothing, I abominate insta-sluts, I don't like battle fuck or battle sex, I do enjoy run or rape and game over rape, but still would pick story sex above them.

As for the archetype, this is exactly what I like:
