I don't want to start any fires in there when I end up needing them and damage our food sources," Lilia asked Ash as she returned, grabbing one of her repair manuals and looking up to comm systems to see if she could figure out if they were still functional or not and if they were, how to link up them to her omni tool so she could answer any hails she got from orbit.

Ash hums as she tends to the garden, moving along big roots that run in a circular pattern around through the garden to give her access to every plant there. "Yep! Safe to smoke 'em. Once back inside and beginning her repairs, Lilia will find that the power has gone out in every single system, including her emergency beacon. Readings show the power core that supplies power to the entire shuttle is completely devoid of any energy, which is surprising, as in the manual, it states that the element used to power it has a half-life of several millenia. Regardless, there's no way for her to send out any more distress signals beyond the ones sent out when she initially arrived.

"Oh? Okay then, I'll leave it in your very capable hands then hon. Thank you so much for helping me out here. I'll feed you before I head back out again okay. I'm gonna work around the shuttle here for a little while before I do go," Lilia said to Ash, smiling and kissing her on the cheek.

After looking into the shuttle's systems, Lilia's heart sank a bit as she found that her power cells were dry completely. "Aw man... these things shouldn't be dry yet... they should last for years and years at least. Hell they should last longer than my lifetime before needing to be changed or recharged. Maybe the connections are bad or something. That's got to be it surely," Lilia said aloud to herself as she checked things out, looking into the connections for the power cells of her shuttle and hoping that was all it was.

She knew that she was no engineer herself like her big sister Elena, but she still knew enough that she would be able to find that much out at least surely.

The connections are all still there, save that they've all been magnetically severed. In the manual, it states this is normal in an impending crash to prevent overflow and short-circuiting. Even reconnected once more, the drive is still dry as a bone, no power reaching any of the shuttle whatsoever. Zix stays as near to her mate as she can without being a bother, watching her with concern. "Are you alright, my love?" she asks lovingly, concern in her voice.

Finding that the power cells were in fact completely dry and everything, Lilia sighed sadly and thumped her head against the wall, then thumped it twice more as she slammed a fist into the wall angrily. Looking over at Zix, her alien lover/mate would see tears in the kitsune's eyes as she looked over at her. Lilia wiped them away and sighed again as she looked at Zix. "I... I'm completely stranded hon. Unless they got my first distress calls... I'm stranded here, with no way out. No way to let my family know I'm alive... no way to see them, or talk to them... and unless my distress calls made it through Zix I'll never see my home again, nor be able to help Alexis or you, or anyone else here for that matter," Lilia said sadly after a few moments to recompose herself.

Zix would feel Lilia's tail droop down sadly as she hugged her, looking like she was obviously not in the mood for any actual sex at the moment, but as she looked up at Zix she did look very thankful for having someone there to comfort her. Within the storage, she can find numerous supplies for survival, and a backup beacon, but no secondary power source, leaving her well and truly stranded unless someone got her earlier signals.

"Well... a few people did yes. I mean, they didn't know when in my route this world would be, but they did know I was coming this way. Surely someone will come to search," Lilia replied softly as she wiped her eyes again and got up.

Looking into the storage area, Lilia found her backup beacon, but it had no power source of its own. "Damn... thought it was too good to be true that I had the backup beacon. I suppose I could rig up something from this world assuming I could find anything worth using to power it, but there's no telling if it would work even if I managed to find the stuff to recharge the beacon," Lilia said, coming out of the storage room and sitting down on the edge of the shuttle's entrance, letting her legs dangle a bit. "Well... that means I'll need to explore the planet some anyway to maybe find stuff I can use. Say Zix, how powerful are the storms here?" Lilia said, having the sudden idea of maybe constructing a lightning rod to give a jolt for recharging, as that might be the only thing powerful enough here to do such a thing.
