Well, finally had one of my own killed, bringing me up to "1". I had hoped that that would prime the well so to speak and that all of my support kills would show up, but nope.

My biggest question is how they manage to mess support credit up every single time, hopefully they retroactively fix it considering support credit is pretty much the only way you can get the rewards.

I'm assuming it's the same bug as always, where only the last person to hit it gets credit (trying to last hit one to test that out but with millions of health it's kind of difficult)

EDIT: Nevermind, you apparently have to do 5% damage to it. That's well over a million damage to all the ones I've seen. GL everyone, certainly not going for anything super guard related.

by doing 400k dmg i am getting rewards for killing boss (cards, perso mostly) but it does not count to kills.. and with only 1 free slayer card my full attack is only ~420k :/

Yeah losing the bonus SED from Akie really fucked me for the 2nd half of this event. I went from like 600k~ SED down to like 310k on a full attack. It pretty much cut my damage in half.

This clearly isn't the case since I didn't get credit for one I got MVP on.

I'm just taking that directly from their response to me on twitter. It could still be bugged but if the intended behavior is 5% damage then I'd imagine most people aren't going to be getting credit on very many anyway.

I'm convinced whomever runs their twitter has no clue half the time. I'm pretty sure that 5% thing applies to LoV, not PPS.

Would love if that was the case, but I specified super elite guard and the person running the twitter specified 'her', which certainly wouldn't apply to many bosses in LoV, so....guess we'll see.

Ok first of all, don't worry too much about the SR from the ultra bosses it was used as the reward for 300 ultra bosses on the first year anniversary event.

Secondly, I did some checking with the japanese wiki an I am almost 100% sure all instances of the n wild card in the ep and boss kills rewards were supposed to be sr wild card 1. In the jp version sr wildcards only say wild card 1 instead of sr wild card 1 so I believe someone though that wild card 1 means n wildcard one.

Well, there's an N Wild x10 reward for ten lightning KOs. If someone can get to that point, we can confirm whether we get SR Wilds or if we indeed get the shaft as expected.

First Aigis devs who completely fail to understand where's cause and where's effect with their stupid demands, and now this shit with PPS.. It's like they made it their job to confirm every bit or rumor about Japanese business stupidity. I mean, really? Second set of Slayer Cards for second part of SS? On top of all the bugs they expect us to pay twice for e-gatcha?

Makes me wonder if DMM have to beat dev teams with a stick for them to stay in line (which Nutaku admitted they don't possess), or if it's a famed self-harming xenophobia towards westerners at work.

I have about 17 kills and I'm pretty sure we got shafted.

Someone should send in a ticket and notify them with screenshots of proof of the japanese version, as well as tell them about the support issue.

Remember, Nutaku doesn't have anything to do with the development or design of the game. They just localize and host. Each individual game is probably made up of the same dev team that runs its Japanese counterpart.

The problem is, Nutaku is filling this weird gap that requires them to not only host and localize content but also the following:
-Relay information between the community and the developers
-English community management and feedback
-Have a working knowledge of the game mechanics for games they had no part in developing
-Advertising
-Probably some form of QA
-An up-to-date understanding of international laws and requirements involving hentai.

This is pretty tricky ground, since consumers are never going to understand this relationship (nor should they have to). Bug fixes and any kind of game changes will take a much longer time than usual to go into effect because of the necessity of communicating with a "middle man" (Nutaku). Game support will be considerably lower quality due to the devs not being in touch with the english-speaking community. Etc. etc. you get the point. Nutaku is just another set of links in the chain where things can go wrong.

Concerning the free VN Everlasting Summer, if I had to guess, Nutaku might have bought the rights to put it on the site in order to draw in more customers.

So for anyone interested in sending a support ticket, I'll detail how I came to the conclusion.

First off i used this wiki page for the guard event:

You must be registered to see the links

Now go there and scroll to the イベント報酬 section and look at the ep and ultra boss kill awards(last 2 charts in that section).

Our reward list is on the left, ignore the right that has no bearing on the current list.

If you compare every reward it all lines up except the N wild card 1, on the wiki reward list it shows ワイルドカード1 which is SR wild card 1 where as n wild card 1 is Nワイルドカード1.

Hopefully we can get to the bottom of this because I'd rather it be a mistake than purposeful fuckery.

I get all that, really I do, but there is at least the -appearance- of conscious decisions being made somewhere along the line to gouge Western customers on this game

..that's what I don't get.. it's like they have bad accountants or don't understand gambler's psychology.
You're supposed to have a good chunk of your playerbase tossing in $5-10 every other event or so. Instead they're completely golden goosing it, milking the whales dry and making the casual spenders feel ripped off (thus never getting their money again).

It varies from game to game, but if you look at around some of the most common numbers about whales say that for some games .15% of the player population generates 50% of the revenue, and some of them can spend several thousand dollars in a game.

But it's VN, how do they plan to make money on it?

The visual novel is free to play on steam too though censored there, it was orginially created by a russian visual novel development team. They may have launched it similar to kickstarter or pateron project but I can't read the developers site being that it is in Russian.

If Nutaku works anything like mangagamer does with respect to indie developers, the developers usually just need a quick email and approval, but this would be a question for @Nordland

On more peropero focused note: Is Tomoko ever available? I don't see her in the card list like the last elite guard who was the 100000EP reward. Is she a later reward or story card?

The wiki says that JP got her the second time they had her as an Elite Guard event
