The visual novel is free to play on steam too though censored there, it was orginially created by a russian visual novel development team. They may have launched it similar to kickstarter or pateron project but I can't read the developers site being that it is in Russian.

It was developed much the same way as Katawa Shoujo. Idea, team and all came from Russian imageboard enthusiasts, which later formed a team and made it a finished product. They are working on their second VN already, so that's another example of imageboards winning the internets.

You know the funny thing is after they went into phase 2 of the event I have not dropped but 2 ranks all day. I was 467 when it shifted to phase 2 and I'm now rank 469 and I've done NOTHING in this event since it went into phase 2. I guess everyone just stopped.

well the way the event works, it becomes progressively harder, so if you don't have the SED to compete in the upper half, you're going to run into (normal) bosses you just can't kill.

Now, with this iteration of the event specifically, you also have a lot of people whose effective SED has been nearly sliced in half due to them changing slayer cards, and they can no longer keep up with the progression, thus shutting out another, probably larger, block of people (seriously, how many games do you know where suddenly halfway through you're only half as strong, yet the enemies still keep getting stronger?).

..and then I suspect there's a non-insignificant group of people who are now just pissed off and said "fuck it".

I was in the 200s last night (went to bed about 5 hours before the second half started) and have slid back to the 240s, so the upper regions are still somewhat active and competitive.

60 mil HP bosses and a change in slayers cards. Really? I'm a free player and had already kind of given up on this event but seriously, wtf?

Funny thing, I don't remember this happening in the original DMM.com version.

Which makes me think of 2 possibilites:
1. Nutaku is getting greedy and they are trying to get as much money as they can while they try to reach the japanese version as soon as possible.
2. Maybe this has happened in the japanese version (didn't get too popular and never used again) and Nutaku is just translating the japanese version and not tweaking if not necessary.

Which makes me think of 2 possibilites:

Iv'e had words with Nutaku which leaves me to believe this is the devs of pero doing this and not Nutaku which is a crying shame, you would think they would know better then anyone.

The HP on this boss is so high that, I kid you not, everyone who attacked it got a game crash and had to refresh.

Has anyone actually cleared one of these bosses? Lowest I've seen is 37 mil and the rewards want you to clear up to 300 of them?

Not entirely sure why I'm still playing this.

Mystica - 45
kylkaeri - 35
Narisa - 24
Lovecz - 15
EvilAngel - 12
Lowid - 10

those are the only ones in double digits

Extrapolating, (unless they retroactively fix the support bug) I don't think you're gonna see more than 4 or 5 people hit 300.

I've assisted in about 10 kills and had one of my own killed, but assists are bugged and not being counted.

Just for curiosities sake Narisa, how many puddings do you/supporters have to burn to actually clear one of these bosses? Top people on my flist are 400-500k sed, assuming they got the second set of event gatcha girls that's what, 1.5k mil sed roughly?

Or do people on my flist have way lower sed than those who are actually clearing?

A bunch, honestly. Or none at all, considering you only get counted if you kill the Elite Guard yourself.

A lot of the people usually just wait around not hitting anything until the final hit comes near (which ofc the higher SED people have a huge advantage on), and then it becomes a mess of who can hit faster.

I've burned through 30 puddings myself today, with an addition X amount of the puddings i picked up through beating the super elite guard at some points.

In terms of my case, my Event SED is at 6479024. On the other hand, people like Swindler have around 9300000. So eventually its pretty subjective.

Basically what I've been doing mostly is burning peronamin trying to find super elite guards, so I probably have used less than some others.

It's amazing how much of a bonus slayer cards give. There really isn't even a point to doing the event anymore as a free player as you have very little chance to actually kill bosses and even less of a chance to score the last hit to get credit.

This event SR is going to actually be super rare due to how few people will have it.

Thank goodness I got mine out of the 6 remaining event cards I had from the last batch of purchases for the power ranger one.

Interseting, well, thanks for the info
Reminds me of wartunes somewhat given the difference in power between free and non-free players.

I guess I'll just go back to messing around with it when I have some free time and not worrying about any event SR's since I'll never get them.

In reference to the earlier question about changing slayer cards, though it doesn't work quite the same, Hellfire Girls adds a second set of even more powerful girls during the second stage of the boss events.

The big difference being the first set of girls still function during the event.


And ya I spawned my first lightning boss....lv 70 (70,000,000hp) ya thats not happening.

Assuming they have every slayer card maxed it's actually quite a bit more than that since the 800ks are doing around 8-9m+ with a full attack.

Also Sza forgot to mention me for the double digits of super kills, although to get this many took around 120 elixirs so not much chance of my hitting 300 if assisting doesn't give credit.
