This entire change kinda killed the game for me. I had some money to spend and got some card packs and was doing well for my standards. Now they decided to change everything up mid event and force you to spend more money to keep you placement. I kinda wonder if they are trying to kill the game on purpose.

Assuming they have every slayer card maxed it's actually quite a bit more than that since the 800ks are doing around 8-9m+ with a full attack.

Also Sza forgot to mention me for the double digits of super kills, although to get this many took around 120 elixirs so not much chance of my hitting 300 if assisting doesn't give credit.

Well yeah, I got mine only from spawning the bosses for Mystica, I'm not even top 300 rankwise.

60 mil HP bosses and a change in slayers cards. Really? I'm a free player and had already kind of given up on this event but seriously, wtf?

Funny thing, I don't remember this happening in the original DMM.com version.

The high-HP lightning bosses happens all the time. Heck, the toughest enemies in JP version's current Elite Guard event tops out at 300mil HP, but at least high-SED people with full Slayer cards have effective SED of 100-150mil so they can still take it out with relative ease. Giving us 300mil HP enemies at our level? Screw that noise.

But cycling out the Slayer cards mid-event? No. Never happened. They've introduced new cards in the gachas mid-event, but they've never shuffled the Slayer bonuses on people like that.

Which makes me think of 2 possibilites:
1. Nutaku is getting greedy and they are trying to get as much money as they can while they try to reach the japanese version as soon as possible.
2. Maybe this has happened in the japanese version (didn't get too popular and never used again) and Nutaku is just translating the japanese version and not tweaking if not necessary.

More likely the first one. Prove me wrong, Nutaku.

yeah, this is the other thing that's bothering me.. no rhyme or reason to the level of the mega bosses..

I just looked back through the logs.. you've posted about 18 bosses, all of them under lv 100

I've had THREE, one of them a lv 100 (of course that one wasn't getting killed), and someone on my friend list, well below me in base SED.. had a lv -300-

No no, it's clear, she obviously loves me a lot more. I mean think about it, we're comparing someone who's had Airu on their 5 cards since launch, compared to you who doesn't even have her on theirs.

Neither. Nutaku isn't responsible the development of the games. They just host 'em. That's been well documented. It's either the same JP devs as the DMM version or a different group within the same company that decide this stuff. As a side note, it's not uncommon for eastern developers to not care about the western scene beyond how much money they can exploit out of it. See: any eastern MMO. Was hoping that Peropero would be better as Nutaku said they had more suggestion power with it than they do with Aigis.

I don't mind a p2w model for some of these events. I get that the goal is to make money. Just would like an acceptable amount of quality assurance (read: any) and at least some consistency with the JP version. Not regularly buggy events (this is the THIRD time in a row that the support bug happened) and whatever crap they're pulling with the slayer cards.

My "friend request" got bugged, i see message stating that i have 1 new pero friend request, but there is nothing in Accept tab, tried using ingame refresh button, tried refreshing game, clearing cache, and changing browser. Nothing helps it justs says i have 50/51 friends and i can't sent any friend requests since i'm at "friend's limit".

I know, my motivation has been really dropping for this event. And yet, the really weird thing I'm seeing is that I'm getting way more people posting their bosses than before. There's like six people on my list right now with bosses, and before this change up I never saw more than two, and even just one was rare. Hell, my rank has even taken a dive. I've never seen it go down more than 10, but when I woke up this morning I was down from 41 all the way down to 80. I don't really get it, but I guess the other people in the higher tiers are actually excited by the change up.

Anyway, I don't really have enough money to spend on the game right now, so I think I'll probably have to forget about finishing in the top 100, let alone top 50. Like maybe drop a bit to try for the new cards, but no puddin' for me.

Lots of top tier limited cards was included in special SS at least once, her included. So the answer is: yes, probably, but not 100% and it may well be a year or more away from this time.

That was the case for the JP game. If we've learned anything from this whole experience, it's that the EN version plays by its own rules.

I kinda feel bad about it, but I finally cleared 3 people off my list who have been playing 60+ days and were still only 50-100k sed. With that said, accepting 3 people 200k+.

Probably need to keep better track of my list and remove more people who don't really participate in events at all/etc.

I just did a housecleaning myself (my criteria is <50k: 3 days, <150k: 5 days, all else: 7 days) and now CLEARED. (I may decide to bang out a level today, though i kinda wanna hoard my peromins in case the next event is tower)
